Silmenitz is located in the south of the island of Rügen, away from the tourist hustle and bustle on the Bodden coast. The RügenRundtour, the cycle path around the island, passes through the village. There are restaurants in nearby Garz or the harbour in Puddemin. You can swim after a short drive on Zudar or on the beach at Altkamp or in the island's bathing resorts. There is a small jetty right next to the house and an infinite amount of nature, space, tranquillity and coastline.

An unforgettable stay
My girlfriend and I stayed in the house Silmenitz 1a over the turn of the year. Everything was very nicely decorated and we were even welcomed with a bottle of wine and a card on the dining table wishing us a pleasant stay. The furnishings are stylish, the technical equipment (from the brand-name coffee machine to the Loewe TV) is of high quality, and nothing else is left to be desired. Everything has been done to make the guest's stay as pleasant as possible
What was not quite clear to us before our arrival: The second half of the house is also rented out (Silmenitz 1B). So if necessary, you share the house with other residents
My girlfriend and I had a very nice time and would love to come again! But maybe once in summer, when the weather is a bit better for using the bicycles and the rowing boat. :)
Conclusion: unconditionally recommended!

Whow! We would always like to live there.
What is not liked about this house is only that one has to move out again at the end of the vacation. The furnishings are complete and well-maintained. Location and ambiance are first class, the pictures from the advertisement are accurate. You have to drive a bit to go swimming. But since we are not beach bums, we booked this dream vacation home again. With our second stay, we were able to almost complete the sightseeing program of Rügen: we will come for a third time.

Nur die Seele baumeln lassen
Haben uns zum zweiten Mal in dem schönen Haus erholen dürfen. Bei dieser Natur und Ruhe kann man wunderbar die Seele baumeln lassen. Wir haben die Insel erkundet und die Sonnenstunden genossen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

grandiose lage und excellente innenausstattung, absolut ruhig und ein wahnsinnsgrundstück mit ringsrum wasser. Im sommer muss das unglaublich schön sein - ich genoss winterruhe, abende am kamin und zeit fürs schreiben. wenn das geschafft ist, komme ich in der hauptsaison wieder. abwicklung der buchung sehr professionell, buchungsbestätigungen, kontakte und anreiseinformation, zahlungseingäntge wurden bestätigt und fragen beantwortet. vor ort eine recht patente verwalterin welche auch ordentlich putzt.
