This pretty apartment in a family-friendly holiday park in a fantastic south-facing location on the 800-metre-high Geyersberg above the climatic health resort of Freyung offers an unforgettable holiday for young and old. From the loggia you have a wonderful view over the Bavarian Forest.
Whether it's a trip to the Bavarian Forest National Park, swimming in the Karolibad Waldkirchen, or hiking on the peaks of the Bavarian Forest, you can reach the most popular destinations from here in no time. Highlights in the vicinity are the world's longest treetop path with its 44 m high tree tower and the Wildbachklamm Buchberger Leite. Indoor pools, many family and children's offers, golf, tennis or cycling routes - everything is in the immediate vicinity.
You can also look forward to a health center with a massage practice, two indoor pools, a sauna area, a mini golf course, as well as billiards, table football, table tennis and darts. As a special service there is a shuttle bus to and from Freyung.
Renovations/Repairs in the month of December 2023.
This includes that in the rooms the water pipes will be checked for legionella (serves as prevention). This means that the water will have to be turned off more often.
Therefore, the indoor swimming pools as well as the saunas will also be closed.
The start/end date has been set for 01.12.2023 to 25.12.2023. Booking is of course possible, but the restaurant will be closed and the reception will have limited staff.

Die Ferienanlage ist riesig. 12 verschiedene Häuser. Wir hatten ein Upgrade vor Ort gebucht auf Design. Insgesamt schön, wenn auch preiswert eingerichtet. Die Aufzüge aus den 70ern sind nich sehr laut. Sie werden wohl über die nächsten Jahre ausgetauscht. Der Ausblick bei Appartments mit "Bergsicht" war fantastisch. Wir waren im 5. Stock. Das Pamoramaschwimmbecken (4x10m) in den Gebäuden A bis H ist sehr schön. Natürlich schnell voll. Leider ist die Angabe einer Sauna eher Marketing. Die Sauna war in den Gebäuden A bis H nur Freitags von 17:00h bis 20:00h geöffnet. Bei Abreise hatten wir erfahren, dass die Sauna im anderen Block mit dem nicht renovierten Schwimmbad wohl häufiger geöffnet sei. Die Türöffnungen mit Zimmerkarten und dann zusätzlichen Schlüsseltresoren waren unzuverlässig. Und an an paar Stellen zB Umkleide hätte man gleich mitrenovieren können. Auch die Versorgung mit Lebensmitteln ist nicht innerhalb der Anlage möglich (zB per Automat oder kleinem Bereich mit regionalen Produkten). Das ist schade. Man muss runter ins Dorf. Insgesamt eine gute Erfahrung und zu empfehlen.
