Microclimate in Mandre as well as the location of the flat (ground floor, walls partly underground) provide a pleasant natural temperature of the apartment in summer, so that the air conditioning is rarely needed. The climate is mostly pleasant, often with a fresh breeze in the evenings in summer, although the north wind is not as strong as on the northern side of the island.
The flat is 350 m from the beach and the seafront. Several beach options in the village (pebble beach, concrete beach, with or without shade) or nearby sandy beaches (10 to 15 minutes drive away). Kids fun zone available on the main beach of the village.
Nearby is a shop and fish shop and a small market for vegetables and fruit. Mandre is a quiet village, pleasant for a family holiday or as a starting point for excursions and sports activities. Mandre has a long seaside promenade, where long walks by the sea are pleasant even in spring and autumn. Several restaurants in the village, but also in the nearby towns. Well-known Pag cheese (100% sheep's cheese from home production), sage honey, olive oil and grappa can be bought everywhere from local small farms and enjoyed in restaurants.
Several nature parks (Kornati archipelago, Krka Nature Park, Plitvice Lakes) are accessible from Mandre. Close to the historical town of Zadar. Several biking routes on the island of Pag. Also well-known entertainment clubs "Zrče" 10 minutes drive away
