The CITY HOUSE offers an absolutely top-equipped ambience with a large SIEMATIC kitchen, XXXL flat-screen TV in the living room, TV and office desk in the rooms, comfortable queen-size beds 140 cm wide, which can also sleep two people. Terracotta floors on the ground floor and solid wood parquet in the living rooms. A spacious bathroom with bathtub and shower. Of course, all linen from bedding to shower towels is provided, our house service cleans daily. The kitchen is fully equipped and the washing and drying station is located in the adjoining house.

You live in a quiet lane in the middle of the old town centre, directly behind the Mainkai promenade, there is a hotel garni and a restaurant, directly around the property only families live in owner-occupied property, all of them elaborately restored, beautifully preserved courtyards or lovingly newly constructed buildings. No through traffic, except for trade fair and event dates around Marktplatz or Mainkai very little pedestrian traffic, which comes to an almost complete standstill in the evening hours.
The bus station is located approx. 250m above the market square directly at the town hall. Taxis are available directly at the market square. The motorway BAB 3/exit Marktheidenfeld is 5 km away. You will find the boat landing 30m below the Main quay

In case of violation of the smoking ban we charge at least € 150,00 for the rooms and € 250,00 for the flats for cleaning - should this make it impossible for you to connect, we will have to charge you additionally for the loss.

Out of love for beautiful buildings worthy of preservation and the perfect location for quiet, central living, we, Uschi, Florian and Werner Jannek, settled at the beginning of 2011 in the most central location in the old town centre between Hofgasse and Wagnergasse.In addition to a modern townhouse, we built an architecturally outstanding 3-gabled solitaire with an office wing, an art gallery and two idyllic inner courtyards. in 2018, we acquired the directly adjoining neighbouring buildings to create attractive living space for a "HOME FOR A TIME". After 18 months of core renovation, the 300-year-old walls now house ultra-modern, generously individually furnished studios, flats and suites. Two typical vaulted cellars, the patio in the leafy inner courtyard, the original, newly laid cobblestones and sandstone walls, the centuries-old, double-row sandstone wall through which the former stable door of the Gäuls-Stad leads to the reception across the inner courtyard of our private domicile - all this contributes to recreating the atmosphere of past centuries of the Hofstallung.
