Location and surroundings of object
Villa Iduna is only about 100 metres from the fine sandy beach. You can reach the promenade on foot. You can stroll along it, past elaborately restored villas in typical seaside resort style, to the pier. It is the second longest on Rügen, after Sellin. A popular photo motif is the Kurhaus with the spa square and bandstand in front of it. In the historic centre of Binz there are numerous cafés, restaurants, bars and small shops. After a day at the beach, it's a great place to stroll in the evening.
The railway station is the start and destination for many German IC/ICE connections. Travelling by train is therefore no problem. It is only about 1,000 metres / 12 minutes' walk to the accommodation. However, there is another railway station in Binz. The "Rasende Roland", a historic narrow-gauge railway, departs from the small railway station. A trip on it is a must during a holiday on Rügen. The Roland train connects Göhren, Baabe, Sellin, the Granitz hunting lodge and Binz with Putbus/Lauterbach Mole (with other stops in between).
If you like cycling, you should take a trip to the Mönchgut peninsula and visit the former fishing villages of Thiessow, Klein Zicker and Gager. A short walk through the Zicker Mountains is also worthwhile. Hikers get their money's worth especially around Sassnitz. If you are good on foot, you should take a tour along the steep coast to the Königsstuhl. There are wonderful photo opportunities along the way (chalk cliffs).

Very Central
Lovely apartment, everything you need is there. The fact that there is no parking at the house right now is not great, but it is manageable, as everything can be reached on foot or by bus.
recommend for: seniors, holiday without car, beach holiday

Liebe Gäste, vielen Dank für die super Bewertung. Ja, leider ist kein Parkplatz zu dieser Ferienwohnung am Haus. Für mehr Parkplätze als für 10 der 13 Ferienwohnungen ist leider kein Platz auf dem Hof. Aber dafür gibt es als Alternative die kostenlose Parkkarte für den Großparkplatz. Vielleicht bis zum nächsten Mal in Binz.
