The stylishly furnished 2.5 room old town apartment offers space for 2 persons. It is located on the ground floor of a historic house in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bellinzona. The apartment consists of an entrance with a large wall mirror and wardrobe, a comfortable living room with a modern leather sofa and antique furniture. The artistic paintings and sculptures set accents. Separate, well-equipped modern kitchen with dining table. The bedroom is equipped with a box spring bed. Bathroom with tub, washbasin and toilet.
The combination of modern comfort, high ceilings and precious Murano glass ceiling lamps give the apartment a very special flair. The floors of the living rooms are covered with high-quality wooden parquet.
Ideal for guests who love a city apartment and travel by public transport. The central location on a quiet side street is simply brilliant. You can do a lot of things easily on foot. In a few steps you can reach the old town and the train station. Travellers by car can park their car on a private parking lot only about 100 m away from the house.
Bellinzona is the capital of the southern Swiss canton Ticino. It is known for its 3 medieval castles. These include the Castelgrande and the Castello di Sasso Corbaro. Both castles offer views of the town, the surrounding Alps and the Castello di Montebello, the third castle. The Museo Villa dei Cedri exhibits regional art from the 19th century to the present day. Among the original elements in the restored Palazzo Civico is a fresco from the 16th century.
The traditional centuries-old Saturday market enlivens the old town with numerous stalls selling local products and handicrafts. The museums, the churches and squares and the Teatro Sociale provide a rich cultural offer, while you can enjoy local products in star restaurants and wine cellars called "grotti". Every year the most famous carnival in Ticino, the Rabadan, takes place here, when masks, guggenes and floats parade through the streets.

Very tastefully and comfortably furnished apartment with all necessary comforts. Very clean and well-maintained, recently fully renovated. Extremely central yet very quiet location. A few minutes' walk from Bellinzona train station, private parking, the old town center, and shopping facilities. Ideal starting point for exploring the city and excursions to the nearby and further afield areas. Excellent support by the agent.
