It is located on the ground floor of a historic house in the centre of the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bellinzona. The flat consists of an entrance hall with a large wall mirror and wardrobe, a cosy living room furnished with a modern leather sofa and antique furniture. The artistic paintings and sculptures set the tone. Separate, well-equipped, modern kitchen with dining table. The bedroom is furnished with a box-spring bed. Bathroom with bath, washbasin and WC.
The combination of modern comfort, high ceilings and precious Murano glass ceiling lamps give the flat a very special flair. The floors of the living rooms are laid with high-quality wooden parquet.
Ideal for guests who love a city flat and travel by public transport. The central location on a quiet side street is simply brilliant. You can easily do many things on foot. The old town and railway station are just a few steps away. Travellers arriving by car can park their vehicle in a private car park just 100 m from the house, subject to availability.
Bellinzona is the capital of the southern Swiss canton of Ticino. It is known for its 3 medieval castles. These include the Castelgrande and the Castello di Sasso Corbaro. Both castles offer views of the city, the surrounding Alps and the Castello di Montebello, the third castle. The Museo Villa dei Cedri exhibits regional art from the 19th century to the present day. One of the original elements in the restored Palazzo Civico is a fresco from the 16th century.
The traditional centuries-old Saturday market enlivens the old town centre with numerous stalls selling local produce and handicrafts. The museums, churches and squares as well as the Teatro Sociale provide a rich cultural offering, while local products can be savoured in Michelin-starred restaurants and wine cellars known as "grotti". The most famous carnival in Ticino, the Rabadan, takes place here every year, when masks, guggen and floats parade through the streets.

Apartment in top condition! Clean, comfortable sofas and beds, fully equipped kitchen, even with a freezer. In the bathroom, there's a bathtub.

The appartment is uniquely furnished to a high standard and is spotlessly clean. A large comfortable modern kitchen. Located in a relatively quiet and somewhat shady street, it’s a perfect location for the railway station and exploring Bellinzona on foot. Good communication with the serious management company.
