Description
The 6.5 room holiday home can accommodate 6 adults and 2 children. The interior impresses with a lot of wood and in combination with granite stone walls in the living rooms radiates special comfort and warmth. The holiday home consists of two levels. In the upper area (entrance area) there is the spacious living-dining room with a generous dining table and fireplace as well as the open, well-equipped kitchen. Make yourself comfortable on the large living area of the bay window and enjoy the wonderful view in all directions thanks to the large window fronts. From here you can access the terrace and the swimming pool area. The secluded seating area under the vines provides shade on hot days. Sun-seekers make themselves comfortable on the lawn. The swimming pool promises pure refreshment. In the lower part of the house there are two double bedrooms and the children's room with bunk bed, as well as two bathrooms with shower or bathtub and a separate toilet.
Privacy for guests or friends of the family is provided by the annex, which is accessible from the lower living area. It consists of a living-dining area with a small kitchen, a double bedroom and an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. The house can be reached by a few steps from the car park. Parking for two cars is available.
From the seaside village Gerra Gambarogno you can reach the house in about 5 to 10 minutes by car. In Gerra you will find shopping facilities, a public bathing beach and various restaurants as well as connections to public transport (bus, train and boat). Boats go to Locarno, Ascona, the Brissago Islands and other destinations. The Ticino cities of Lugano, Locarno and Bellinzona can be reached just as quickly by car or train as the Italian town of Luino (approx. 5 km), where the traditional market is held on Wednesdays.
The Riviera del Gambarogno is situated on the shores of Lake Maggiore just opposite Locarno and Ascona. In winter the region remains rather shady, but in summer it transforms into a small and fascinating holiday paradise thanks to the deep green lake, the beautiful villages and the mountains in the background. Palm trees, vineyards, chestnut woods and pretty villages on the shore and on the hills; the Riviera del Gambarogno embodies all this.

Beautiful location with a view that you can never get enough of! The garden is also fantastic, beautifully landscaped and extremely inviting. There were 8 of us and even in bad weather, everyone had a place to retreat. The sofa corner is simply amazing! We cooked every day and never lacked anything, the kitchen is very well equipped. Because we also had access to the studio's refrigerator, we had enough space.

We spent 2 weeks with our extended family, parents, children and grandchildren in this beautiful vacation home in Gerra. The house is 2-storey, with the living area on the upper floor and the cool sleeping area and bathrooms, shower, toilets on the lower floor. The view is fantastic. Adults can stand in the pool, which is very convenient for playing with the children in the water. The terrace is large enough for dining, playing, and relaxing. The lawn is by the pool, so you can keep an eye on the children easily. It's a bit of a shame that all 3 toilets are on the lower floor.

The house has 2 floors, the living area is on the upper part (ground floor), and the cool sleeping area and bathrooms, shower, and toilets are on the lower part. The view is fantastic. Adults can stand in the pool, which is very good because you can play with the children in the water. The terrace is large enough for eating, playing, and lingering. The lawn is next to the pool, so you can watch the children well. It's a bit unfortunate that all 3 toilets are on the lower level.

We cooked every day and never missed anything, the kitchen is very well equipped. Because we also had the refrigerator of the studio at our disposal, we had enough space.
