We had a fantastic stay in the apartment in Velmede! The location is perfect for nature lovers, right on the edge of the forest with hiking trails just outside. The private terrace was a lovely spot for evening barbecues. Highly recommended for families or groups!

The apartment is in a great location for both hiking and skiing. We enjoyed hiking on the trails right outside the door and found the ski lifts just a short drive away. The kitchen was perfect for cooking our meals, and the electric grill was a fun addition.

We had a fantastic time in the apartment! It was spacious enough for our group of friends, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals. The terrace was perfect for evening conversations and enjoying the fresh air. The only downside was that the WiFi was a bit slow, but it didn't bother us too much since we mainly spent our time outside. We will definitely return!

To reach the front door you have to climb a staircase outside. Didn't matter to us, but can be tricky for some people. When we were there there was no snow (although we went for it). Then you really have to drive half an hour to eg Winterberg to find (sled) slopes with snow cannons. The house is spacious and fully equipped. When the weather is nice, I think the garden is lovely too. On arrival it was still very cold in the house and it took a long time to warm up properly. The first evening we really could not sit comfortably on the couch. Within walking distance is a restaurant (Gasthof Sauerwald) where we ate delicious schnitzels and Lidl for all your groceries is nearby.

Nice house, for Sauerland concepts fairly modern. Especially the large garden at the rear of the house is worth mentioning with a nice garden furniture, barbecue and trampoline, and plenty of sun. The manager of the house lives directly on the right-hand side (by the way, is not the owner). The owners can also be present, in the upper part of the house, you only rent 1 floor of the house. Equipment worked properly, Dutch TV channels is an advantage. Wifi is very poor with poor coverage, but I am not used to it in Sauerland. Beds small and sometimes a bit creaky. Bathroom fine, but somewhat dated. House is quietly located on a street with one-way traffic where only destination traffic comes.

We were 45 minutes earlier at the cottage. Called the key holder who lives next to the house and picked up the keys. Had a short tour and then enjoyed. House was spacious and very neat and fully equipped. Children ski in winterberg. And we walked wonderfully in the free game park. Environment is beautiful. Will definitely go back again.

The location of the house is great, on a hillside, direct access to the hiking trail. Large fenced yard perfect for kids and dogs. The administrator was very friendly and helped us in all matters. However, the heating went out on Saturday, and of course nobody can do anything about that. We were helped out with electric heaters and offered the upstairs shower. Of course, that leaves a strange feeling, because despite all your efforts, you don't feel 100% free. However, what we found very disturbing is the condition of the bathroom. It doesn't have to be state of the art, but at least it should be neat. Unfortunately, a number of joints were covered with mold spores, especially in the tub and the wall behind the toilet were massively affected. And the equipment in the kitchen could be much better for such a large house, we were there with 5 people and only had 2 boards, for example. And some of the furniture is getting on in years, the door of the sideboard broke out and fell towards us. We spent a lot of time outside due to the weather so overall we were happy but would most likely book another house for next time.

The cottage is fully voorzien.Van dishwasher to a console toe.Het is very spacious with separate kitchen, dining room and woonkamer.Ook the bedrooms are spacious with adequate ventilation, large windows were many licht.Wij for skiing in winter and mountain thought the track was 7 kilometers far, but both winter mountain as willingen is half an hour (30 km.) by car. However, the road towards good drive and we noticed really that bad.

We came to ski in Winterberg and it worked well, lots of snow !!! Really is the best. When we came back home in the house of Agnes was nice and warm. We were able to store our goods, space was in. The kitchen makes cooking easy and also the cozy dining room invites you to play games. Overall a pleasant / sports holiday! We want to come back!

We have our 2 daughters aged 5 and 2 had a very nice holiday in the summer of 2014 in this house. The house is spacious and modern, the landlord is very welcoming. Cottage has a lovely enclosed backyard where our dog could not escape and there were plenty of playground equipment. Only downside of this house is that if you want to walk you right on a very steep slope and must not be an easy round shin. This part of Sauerland is especially attractive for nature lovers, there is less to do for young children or culture.

Haus Agnes is a spacious house with a large enclosed garden. A trampoline and swings for the children and a nice lawn for the dogs. A very friendly welcome from the neighbors and a top restaurant within walking distance. In short, a wonderful stay for the whole family!

From our spacious and comfortable holiday house walked a lot. Too much than walking with the car and step back. Beautiful nature trails and beautiful villages with old churches that you can so. The town where we stayed had big supermarkets, so we could cook good and healthy every day. Our backyard was spacious and had a view of the hills, so no rear neighbors. Together with my daughter and a friend with her two daughters, we have been a weekend. What a fantastic house. All the trimmings and a lovely garden where children can play but the dog should be. The landlords live to tell next door and are very kind and willing you everything about the area.

We have spent 12 nights in this lovely house, and had a nice environment. Two adults and our 6 year old daughter who could play in the big garden. In addition to beautiful nature, there are lots of fun in the area and you can do anything about it. The house is wonderfully light, very clean and everything is present.

Me and my wife had a fantastic skiing holiday with our four grandchildren (aged 7 t \/ m 10 years). Agnes house is very suitable for the purpose for which we traveled to this region. Namely the introduction of our grandchildren with a real ski holiday. Half an hour to Winterberg car has not been difficult because during our vacation changed the landscape from green to white and there was so much to see that they were not used. All in all a great holiday for us and the kids.
