Your holiday apartment is located in the basement of an apartment building on the northern shore of the Großer Pönitzer See. On the cozy, south-facing TERRACE you can leave everyday life behind and catch a small glimpse of the lake. Grilling is also allowed here (grill provided). Note: You reach the garden via 5 (non-standard) steps, 40m to the lake.
The apartment has been furnished by the hosts with attention to detail. In the small HALLWAY there is a chest of drawers, mirror, wardrobe, and a small bench for putting on/taking off shoes.
The LIVING AREA, like the entire apartment, is modernly furnished. In the wall unit there is a 55-inch flat-screen TV, ensuring entertainment. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. So you can also enjoy cozy evenings together on the corner sofa during the cooler season. The sofa also offers the possibility of an extra bed for a third person (up to 12 years old).
The open KITCHEN adjoins. It is equipped with everything needed for self-catering. This includes a dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, oven, microwave, ceramic hob, fully automatic coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster, and many other cooking utensils. The tiled bathroom is equipped with a shower, washbasin, mirror, toilet, and hairdryer. A washing machine is also available.
The apartment includes a separate bedroom with a double bed (180x200 cm), chest of drawers, clothes rack, and an additional 40-inch flat-screen TV.
A parking space is available free of charge (1 per apartment). Bicycles can be parked on the terrace, with a private bicycle ramp along the steps. The linen package with bed linen, 1 bath towel & 1 hand towel is provided.
The in-house SAUNA can be used (1 euro per 15 min).
A free, private beach chair is reserved for you at beach entrance 28 in Scharbeutz.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday flat is idyllically situated on the northern Großer Pönitzer See (50m) in the nature reserve. Away from the popular tourist resorts of Scharbeutz (3.5 km) and Timmendorfer Strand (10 km). As soon as you arrive, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the lake. The location ensures a relaxed atmosphere and a restful holiday. The size of the lake is perfect for walks along the shore and the many small bays invite you to swim. However, bathing shoes are recommended.
1.4 km away is the bathing establishment "Café Klingberg", where you can not only swim, but also enjoy coffee and cake or other food and drinks. From the jetty you have a fantastic view over the entire Pönitzer See. In a few minutes you are in the forest "Scharbeutzer Heide", the water ski facility Süsel is 5 km away. Recommendation: Bring your SUP and/or bicycles.
The sandy beaches of the Lübeck Bay (3.5 km to the dune mile) can be easily reached by car or bicycle. The Netto market is 2.6 km, post office 2.1 km, bakery 1.9 km and a Shell petrol station 1.2 km away. A doctor's surgery is located directly next to the Netto market. All other shops, as well as pharmacies, are located in Scharbeutz, approx. 4.5 km away.
An absolute recommendation is a visit to the Gronenberger Mühle, less than 1,000 metres away, for a glass of wine or a beer. Trips to the old Hanseatic city of Lübeck 23 km, Neustadt Holstein 14 km, Eutin 15 km are always worthwhile. The Hansa-Park 9 km and the Ostsee Therme in Scharbeutz (8 km) can be reached in a few minutes.

Beach holiday / relaxation holiday
Good communication, dreamlike location, Scharbeutz is easily accessible by car as well as by bicycle. Very clean and well-equipped holiday apartment.
