We spent wonderful days with our entire family in this beautiful apartment. The apartment is sufficient for 6 people and very nicely and tastefully furnished. Everything the heart desires is available. Absolutely recommendable. We would love to come back.

The house is beautifully located. The place reminds of GaPa in earlier years - simply beautiful and not overcrowded. Pizzerias, inviting shops - everything is available. The train station and the bus stop are very close, so you can leave your car behind. By train, you can reach the bustling Garmisch-Partenkirchen in under 10 minutes.

It is a very nice vacation apartment, highly recommendable. The nearby train line is hardly bothersome. You can easily take the bus to Garmisch and simply leave the car behind.

We enjoyed our visit to this house, very comfortable and modern. We had quick access to the bakery and grocery stores. The location was great as it provided easy access to many attractions. We would recommend this place and would return without question !

Very tastefully furnished holiday apartment on the ground floor. Despite the direct railway location, it is absolutely quiet. Even the neighbors in the holiday apartment on the upper floor above us were hardly audible, despite our dog and the neighbors' dog. They must have liked each other :-) So far, we have always stayed directly in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, but Farchant is only a stone's throw away and with a car or bike, you can quickly reach G.-P.. In October 2022, the traffic routing was not quite optimal, or we were nightblind, probably the latter. Upon arrival, coming from Garmisch, we missed the exit to Farchant in the dark :-) and had to drive back in the direction of Munich for a while until we could turn around. And this, even though we have known the area for 40 years. But you always learn, so it didn't happen again a second time :-) By the way, the Italian restaurant "Pizzeria Vesuvio" in Farchant, which is only about a 5-minute walk from the holiday apartment, is highly recommended. All in all, a very nice and relaxing holiday in an equally great holiday apartment. We will definitely be back for the next Garmisch vacation.

Everything was great, just like last time! It would be good to have a clothes drying rack so that towels can be dried outside, or for longer stays when washing clothes. Also, maybe some curtains for the seating area. We will gladly come back! Best regards, H. Wrona.

Beautiful, high-quality furnished holiday apartment in a very good location. The direct train connection at the house is not disturbing. This is how I imagine a vacation, high quality like at home, arriving and feeling comfortable. Perfect space, I was there with my daughter and son-in-law.

As every year, we spent our vacation in an apartment of the Mahr family and as always, everything was great. Everything you could wish for was available and the apartment, as always with the Mahr's, extremely clean! We stayed with four people + dog in the apartment and had enough space. However, we think that only one shower for four or six people is not enough, as the second bathroom only has a bathtub without a shower option. The train station is not disturbing, as the train traffic is hardly noticeable. The apartment has a very central location, you are very quickly in the forest for hiking and the delicious pizzeria is around the corner :-)
We had another super nice vacation in a TOP apartment and are already looking forward to next time :-)

This is a very wonderful apartment to stay in. It is very quiet in a wonderful town. Farchant is quaint, in the middle of the Alps and very wonderful. The apartment is close to Garmisch and also to the Austrian town of Innsbruck. The apartment had very comfortable beds, with Down pillows and blankets. Everything one needed was in the apartment. The washer and dryer were handy as was the boot/ski room. There is a bakery and small meat store close by and the train station is just around the corner. Just Wonderful

Everything is great just like last time! A clothes rack would be good so you can dry towels outside or laundry if you're staying longer and doing laundry. And maybe curtains for the seating area. We would love to come back!

Fantastic flat! Lekker ruim, heerlijke keuken met alles er op en er aan. Lekker loungen op de bank in de woonkamer met uitzicht op de Zugspitze. Top bedden en badkamers. Farchant is a lovely village. Leuke restaurantjes en top bakker aan de Hauptstraße. Genoten van zon sneeuw en skien?

The flat is very modernly equipped; everything for daily needs is available. It is very pleasant that consumer goods are also available, at least for the first few days. The bedrooms are also comfortably furnished: very good beds, plenty of storage space, modern TV in each bedroom. The flat is quiet, bright and offers plenty of space for 6 people. We felt very comfortable.

As every year, we spent our holiday in a holiday flat of the Mahr family and, as always, everything was top.

Everything the heart desires was there and the flat was extremely clean, as always with Mahr's!
We were in the flat with four people + dog and had enough space. However, we think that only one shower is not enough for four or 6 people, as the second bathroom only has a bathtub without a shower.

The train station is not disturbing as you hardly notice the train traffic. The flat has a very central location, you are very quickly in the forest for hiking and the delicious pizzeria is around the corner :-)
