When the sun rises in Farchant, its first rays fall on the “Bergrose” holiday home.
During the most beautiful days of the year the apartment is sunny all day, as this house is in an optimum position. Holiday guests can enjoy the warm rays all day long. This alone makes this holiday home something special.
It’s little wonder that the garden furniture can be kept outside all year long. Even in winter, the surrounding south-west-facing terrace can be used to soak up the sun and high spirits, and enjoy a nice après-ski cup of coffee surrounded by peace and quiet. On top of everything, this spacious terrace is partially covered, which makes relaxing that bit easier. What else could your holiday heart wish for?
Holiday home with garden and privacy
There is even more: The garden is lovingly designed, with a garden pond and bed of wild roses making for a natural idyll. This also explains how the Bergrose (mountain rose) holiday home got its name.
The property is enclosed by a fence, adding to the feeling of privacy. If you decide to take a walk, the Farchanter Wiesen (meadows of Farchant) offer plenty of fresh air.
Cosy interior
The expectations raised by garden and terrace are matched by the cosy interior of this holiday home. The living and dining area are designed in an open and modern country house style. Hand-painted aquarelles, as well as the spacious kitchen and corner seats, show the attention to detail.
The hallway exits into the other rooms, which are all pleasantly bright and have their own direct access to the terrace. Both bedrooms are equipped with comfortable double beds, one of them even with a box-spring.

I can highly recommend a vacation in the holiday apartment "Bergrose" in Farchant. The apartment is very comfortable and centrally located - 20 minutes by free bus to Garmisch for coffee or hiking directly from the house, many options available. Farchant is a quiet and dark village at night, which we really enjoyed.

During our second vacation, we found the apartment to be clean and tidy again. The towels and linens were very good. The kitchen had everything we needed again, and we felt very comfortable once more. After our hikes and excursions, we enjoyed using the garden and the loungers. We will certainly rent this beautiful accommodation a third time as well.

We felt very comfortable in the apartment; Bergroset. A beautiful garden with terrace, lots of peace and an acceptable equipment. All the sights of the region can be reached quickly by car. There are also plenty of hiking trails with various levels of difficulty within walking distance. Bakeries and restaurants are also easily accessible on foot. So all in all, an apartment for a great vacation.

The apartment Bergrose is located in a quiet area in Farchant. We stayed there with 2 children for skiing and we liked it very much. All necessary shops are within walking distance, and by car you can quickly reach Garmisch. The apartment was very clean and extremely well-equipped and spacious. The company Mahr responded immediately to a small problem on our part, communication went smoothly. The apartment has 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms (one with a toilet, which did not bother us since the apartment is only for 4 people), a large living room with a dining area and a kitchen. There was really everything, from sewing kit to blender! There is a small garden in front of the house. The other tenants in the building are also very quiet and friendly people. Farchant is very suitable for families. Due to the good snow, we were able to ski on the hill in the village for the first few days, there is also a toboggan run. All in all, top and highly recommended!

We were allowed to spend 3 weeks in the holiday apartment Bergrose and felt very comfortable. Even a large combi fit in the underground car park. Everything you need is available in the apartment. The beds are very comfortable. We will gladly come back! Wolff family.

The ground floor apartment has a surrounding terrace, a small garden, and is located in a quiet area. It's nicely furnished, kitchen utensils are sufficiently provided, as well as a dishwasher and washing machine. The bedroom has a box spring bed, you sink in heavily when lying down, which is not to our liking. There is also a double bed in the children's room, which was fine. Communication/handover was uncomplicated. We hiked to the Kuhfluchtwasserfalls in Farchant, went to the Zugspitze, hiked/swam in the Eibsee, explored the Partnach Gorge and the Hell Valley Gorge, and rode our bikes to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, where we wandered through the city and the Michael Ende Park. Conclusion: varied vacation with biking, hiking, and swimming in great nature.

also on our 4th visit, everything was in perfect order. We were two people, but the apartment is easily suitable for 4 people. Very nicely furnished, nothing is missing. In winter as well as in summer it is beautiful here. The garden is quaint-romantic and there is something to discover everywhere, and the location is absolutely quiet.

We spent the last 2 weeks here with our children and our dog. We are already familiar with the GAP area, but were very surprised by Farchant. The apartment is idyllically situated between meadows, mountains and waterfalls. Whenever we returned to the holiday apartment after our hikes and excursions, we always felt like coming home. The apartment is very nicely located in a quiet area, surrounded by lots of greenery. If you want to get away from the noise, this is the right place for you. The terrace is also wonderful. Overall, it is really a very nice apartment. Unfortunately, we didn't like the toilet and the shower in the corner that was too small.

The Mountain Rose is located very idyllic and very conveniently at the entrance of Farchant. The vehicle is safely parked in the underground garage and pleasantly cool in the dark. The apartment is equipped with everything needed for self-catering; even a grill is available outside; and is very clean. The terrace is fantastic. We will gladly come back.

The vacation apartment is great, spacious, with good beds and a good kitchen equipment. It is located in a quiet area and relatively cool during the heatwave. The parking in the underground garage takes some getting used to, but otherwise everything is very good. The only thing that could be improved are the upholstery in the living room, they could be more comfortable with TV chairs or a sofa where you can lean back and rest your head.

Very nice flat for max. 2 persons. The second bedroom is sufficient in size for children. Then we searched in the search engine for a flat with two toilets and this flat appeared there. This is not correct, there are two shower bathrooms but only one toilet. While still on holiday, we informed the owner of this shortcoming via the management. Unfortunately, we did not receive any feedback or any concession regarding the rather high price.

The Bergrose flat is in a quiet location in Farchant. We were there for skiing with 2 children and we liked it very much. All the necessary shops are within walking distance, and you can quickly get to Garmisch by car. The flat was very clean and extremely well equipped and plentiful. Company Mahr reacted immediately to a small problem on our part, the communication went smoothly.In the flat there are 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms (one of them with toilet, which did not bother us, because the flat is only for 4 people anyway), a large living room and a dining area and the kitchen. There was really everything, from sewing kit to blender! There is a small garden in front of the house. The other tenants in the house are also very quiet and really friendly people.
Farchant is very suitable for families. We were able to ski in the village on the hill for the first few days because of the good snow, there is also a toboggan run there. Everything is top and to be recommended!

The flat is equipped with everything you need for self-catering; even a barbecue is available outside; and is very clean. The terrace is fantastic.

Very beautiful and cosy flat. Modern furnishings and top equipment. We didn't want for anything. Both bedrooms are equipped with very comfortable beds. The garden is very romantic and beautiful. It invites you to relax and unwind. We took the opportunity to have breakfast on the terrace and enjoyed it very much. All in all it was a wonderful, very relaxing holiday. We will be happy to come back.

The flat is in a very quiet location, with lots of green around. If you want to get away from the noise, you are in good hands here. The terrace is also wonderful. On the whole, it is really a very nice flat.
Unfortunately, we didn't like the toilet and the corner shower, which was far too narrow.

We have spent the last 2 weeks here with our children and our dog. We already know the GAP area, but were very surprised by Farchant. The flat is idyllically situated between the meadows, mountains and waterfalls. When we came back to the flat after our hikes and excursions, we always felt like coming home.
