Sehr schöne Lage des kleinen Hauses direkt am See, viele Vögel zu beobachten, ruhig Alles vorhanden was man benötigt (Leider kein Zugang zum Wasser) Eine Schere im Haus wäre super Auf jedenfalls benötigt man einen Insektenschutz

The vacationer who seeks peace and solitude and is a true nature lover, for whom the song of the wild geese and the dance of the cranes replace the concert hall and who truly wants to "slow down", will find the right relaxation in "Haus Gustav" on the island of Poel. This house is really a hidden gem for us - two adults, three dogs!!! In addition, the island of Poel is known for excellent hiking and biking trails, for a diverse, good, and affordable gastronomy, and - for friendly people. It was really beautiful and relaxing! The offered bread service was truly invaluable due to the location! It's great that the property is securely fenced for dogs so that our dog could move freely and didn't have to be constantly leashed outside. The somewhat steep spiral staircase to the upper floor was very challenging for all of us (humans and dogs), but after a few days we got used to it and managed well. The mosquitoes are unavoidable in this location, so measures should definitely be taken. I recommend taking some dish soap (for washing small items), also kitchen paper, if you don't want to book the all-inclusive package, it is highly recommended to pack it (or buy it in Kirchdorf). The island is wonderful to explore by bike and we were never bored!

Very nice house in a quiet location, very courteous and friendly handling by your staff.
Except for a few "old" cobwebs in the bedroom, the house was clean.
The only things we were missing for a perfect holiday were egg cups and garden loungers.
I also noticed that the shower door does not seal properly and water runs into the bathroom. This could cause damage in the long run.

Hello dear ones, all in all a successful holiday as always. We were aware that the house is getting on in years from the old reviews, but every now and then a thorough cleaning, e.g. between the showcase and the wall, makes sense, especially if it has already been mentioned several times. The window cleaning has also been mentioned several times.
But we still like to come back.
