Our holiday home "An der Nordsee" is located directly by the sea behind the dyke, on a 1,572 sqm plot in the first row of a small holiday home complex near the village of Wesselburenerkoog.

The house has
- 2 bedrooms with double beds. All bedrooms are closed rooms and all beds are accessible from both sides (no climbing over each other when "going to bed")
- A bathroom with WC, shower, corner bath with whirlpool and a sauna, as well as an additional shower room with WC.
It is therefore ideally suited for 4 people. But it is also perfect for 2 people if you like it a bit more spacious
From the living room with an open ceiling and a huge panoramic window with an unobstructed view of the dyke, a staircase leads to the upper area, where there is a gallery and one of the 2 bedrooms.
The holiday home is furnished to a very high standard and thus meets the highest demands
Special attention has been paid to the kitchen and its equipment. It is therefore also ideally suited for a relaxing holiday under the motto "cooking with friends or family"!
In the front area there is a large terrace, which is ideal for breakfast, because here you can already enjoy the rising sun in the morning. Separate garden furniture is available for this terrace.
At the back, there is another large terrace from which you have an unobstructed view of the dyke. Here you can enjoy the sun all day long until it sets. There is garden furniture for 6 people and two wooden loungers at your disposal.
In "North Sea weather" you can make yourself comfortable by the crackling fireplace in the living room.
You can use the washing machine and dryer in the utility room free of charge at any time.

St. Peter Ording, the large North Sea resort, offers probably the most beautiful, widest beach in Germany/Europe and can be reached in about 10 minutes by car. In addition to wellness & bathing fun with a giant slide in the Dünen Therme, you will also find various restaurants here, e.g. GOSCH.
The Katinger Watt is ideal for surfing beginners
From the Eider Barrier, you can take a boat to various destinations almost every day
You can explore the Eider by boat or set off for the offshore seal islands
On Thursdays, the "little ones" go on a treasure hunt with the pirate ship
You can go to Friedrichstadt, the old "Dutch town", for breakfast or just to stroll around
Birdwatchers, nature lovers and hikers love the nearby nature reserve KATINGER WATT.
Büsum, the gateway to the "Wadden Sea" World Heritage Site, is a little more tranquil and can be reached in about 15 minutes by car. This is also where the ships set off for Helgoland.
The bistro directly on the dyke offers something for the small or large appetite in between
The old smithy at Dammstrasse 20 has been converted into the inviting "Café Koog", with a large garden area and a boutique on the first floor.
All supermarkets can be found nearby, in Wesselburen.
The pedestrian zone in Heide offers you further shopping opportunities.

Cancellation terms:

Pure vacation
A beautiful accommodation with everything the heart desires. Very clean and the furnishings are of very high quality. Peace and relaxation are guaranteed. The day begins with breakfast overlooking the dike with grazing sheep. The view, the starting point for tours, everything just fits. We, two people with a dog, would love to come back.

quiet holiday home
Who wants a little break from the stressful everyday life and still wants to be close to tourist hotspots on the North Sea, is exactly right here.
Directly on the dike, within walking distance to the Eidersperrwerk, really idyllic mudflat hiking.
The house is equipped with everything you need. The beds are comfortable, the furnishings invite you to linger. Plus, everything is clean.
We will definitely come back!

We love the North Sea and decided to buy this newly built holiday home near St. Peter - Ording in 2011. We made sure that our holiday home was not an "off-the-peg" house. We designed the floor plan individually and increased the floor space compared to comparable houses by having the house on two floors. We also designed the furnishings according to our personal taste, because we also want to feel comfortable in our "dream house".

Direkt am Deich, fußläufig zum Eidersperrwerk, richtig idyllisches Wattlaufen.
Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Die Betten sind gemütlich, die Einrichtung lädt zum Verweilen ein. Zudem ist alles sauber.
Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!
Dennoch schnelle Erreichbarkeit von Büsum und SPO innerhalb von ca. 20 Minuten. Einkaufen knapp 5 Minuten entfernt (mit PKW).
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Spaziergänge mit unserem Hund waren in alle Richtungen sehr ergiebig.Die Möglichkeit jederzeit eine von den 3 Terrassen nutzen zu können ist einfach super.
Man sitzt immer windgeschützt.Zum Entspannen um aus dem Alltag runter zu kommen, bietet sich das Haus und die Umgebung an.
Die Lage direkt am Deich ist perfekt. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter ist optimal und sehr seriös.

Wir hatten mit 4 Personen einen tollen Aufenthalt. Haben uns das Haus in unsere Favoritenliste gespeichert - kommen gerne wieder :)
Auch unsere kleine Hündin konnte sich in dem großen durch eine Hecke umgebenen Grundstück austoben. Wir können dieses Ferienhaus ohne bedenken weiterempfehlen.

Die Einrichtung des Hauses ist praktisch und sehr geschmackvoll, die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen und auch der Außenbereich ist sehr ansprechend.
Der unverbaute Blick auf den Deich ist hier ebenfalls zu erwähnen.
Wir haben es genossen, hier Urlaub zu machen. Ob einfach nur ausspannen oder die Umgebung erkunden und ein bisschen Kultur erleben - man hat hier von jedem und für jeden etwas.
Auch möchte ich nochmal Danke sagen an den Vermieter Hr. Schneede und an Frau Lorenz. Der Kontakt war sehr nett und die Abwicklung der Formalitäten sehr unkompliziert. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
Perfekt für einen gemütlichen Grillabend sind die Terrasse und der große Garten.

Lediglich die begrenzte Verstaumöglichkeit für Kleidung im unteren Schlafzimmer ist ein wirklich nur kleiner Wermutstropfen.
Um Stress und Hektik auch nur für ein paar Tage mal zu entfliehen, ist das 'Hirtenhaus' eine passende Unterkunft.

Wer dieses wunderschöne und einzigartige Haus mit all seinen liebevoll durchdachten Extras erleben möchte .. mit absolut freiem Blick und direkt am Wasser, der soll sich dieses buchen. Nicht nur in der Küche .. die ganzen Küchengeräte und Utensilien .. so was habe ich noch nie erlebt. Da wurde wirklich an alles gedacht.
100% Erholung bei dieser Ruhe. Selbst die mitgereisten Teenager fanden es "cool" .. genug Platz für den Ball. Und wer etwas sehen und erleben möchte, alle Infos dazu finden Sie im Haus .. wie auch den Kamin, die Sauna und, und, und ...
Ach noch eins: wir hatten ganz viele Spiele mit eingepackt und brauchten sie gar nicht. Auch diese sind im Haus zahlreich vorhanden. Verschiedene Supermärkte, Apotheke, Tankstelle uvm. - alles was man braucht ist 5 Minuten entfernt.
Ich kann nur sagen: Lieber Herr Schneede, vielen lieben Dank für die wunderschöne Zeit bei Ihnen! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Trotzdem einige Kritikpunkte: Die Betten sind viel zu schmal, im unteren Schlafzimmer gibt es keinen Schrank.
Leider geht aus der Homepage und dem Mietvertrag nicht hervor, das das Haus komplett mit Strom oder Kaminofen geheizt wird, die Stromkosten werden vom Vermieter nach der Mietzeit mit der Kaution verrechnet. Holz ist nicht vorhanden, muß im Supermarkt gekauft werden.
Für uns als erste Mieter des Jahres 2017 bedeutete dies in ein komplett ausgekühltes Haus zu kommen. Die Gesamtheizkosten von mehr als 100,00 € hätte ich gerne vor dem Urlaub einkalkuliert.
Trotzdem hatten wir eine schöne Urlaubswoche und würden eher in der wärmeren Zeit nochmals mieten, dann könnte man auch das schöne Grundstück nutzen.
Die tolle Lage direkt am Deich, in einer kleinen, überschaubaren Ferienhaussiedlung mitten im Nirgendwo garantiert Ruhe und Erholung und ist ideal für Radtouren und ausgedehnte Spaziergänge. Allerdings sollte man sich darüber im Klaren sein, dass es bis zum nächsten Supermarkt bzw. Bäcker 7 km sind.
Einziger Wermutstropfen: ein extrem schmales Bett (1,40 m, eine Matratze) im unteren Elternschlafzimmer beeinträchtigte ein wenig den erholsamen Schlaf zweier ausgewachsener Menschen .
Der Kontakt zum Vermieter und „den guten Geistern vor Ort“ war sehr nett – herzlichen Dank für die unkomplizierte und reibungslose Abwicklung von Buchung und Hausübergabe! Wir kommen gern mal wieder…
Auch die Mikrolage am Deich und zu den Nachbarhäusern war super. Es war sehr ruhig, obwohl in erster Lage.
Das Haus selbst hat jeglichen Komfort, den man sich wünschen kann. In der Küche war alles vorhanden, was man zum Kochen benötigt und sogar noch mehr :-)
Das Haus war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Übergabe hat problemlos geklappt. Alles in Allem ein erholsamer, komfortabler Urlaub.

Abwicklung lief einwandfrei. Würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Preisleistung ist sehr gut.
