Description
Our "Wänchen" site trailer is in a quiet location on the grounds of the former ironworks in the tranquil Eifel village of Malberg. Here you can relax and unwind. Listen to the murmur of the Kyll, which flows directly along the property, and watch the birds making their circles over the wooded hills.
Enjoy the evenings under the starry sky with a view of the imposing Malberg Castle.
From summer to autumn, you can sweeten your stay with home-picked fruit.
Why not try the mulberries or simply pick yourself a delicious apple straight from the tree
The construction trailer is freshly renovated in a Nordic, hyggeligen style with lots of wood
The double bed is 1.20 m wide and offers space for two people. If you like it less cosy, you can use the lower 1 m wide sleeping area. The bed is designed for a maximum of two adults with one child
The bed is equipped with wedge cushions with a pillow roll, which ensure relaxing hours during the day. Reading or simply doing nothing can be this cosy
The construction trailer is supplied with electricity and has interior and exterior lighting as well as power sockets. A table with two seats offers enough space for a communal breakfast even in uncomfortable weather. A trolley converted into a kitchenette even offers a single hot plate in a small space, which you can use to quickly prepare your breakfast egg in the morning.
A small pot, a mini pan, crockery, cutlery, coffee filter and pot, teapot, water jug and kettle are available. In the adjacent building you will find a simple kitchen with water connection, sink for washing up and other kitchen utensils.
There you will also find simple, unheated sanitary facilities with toilet, shower and washbasin.
The outdoor seating area directly at the site trailer with a view over the meadows and forest also offers a barbecue possibility.
In the colder seasons, you can light a cosy, warming fire in the small wood-burning stove, taking into account safety and fire hazards.
The ironworks mentioned at the beginning is in need of renovation and will be renovated in the next few years. The factory halls and surrounding buildings may only be visited together with us. If you are interested, please contact us. Here you can photograph with your camera not only pretty nature and castles, but also an ironworks with morbid charm.

Location and surroundings of object
The construction trailer is located in Malberg in the idyllic Kyllburg Waldeifel with species-rich fauna and flora. Dense colourful mixed forests and dark fir forests offer 340 km of marked hiking trails. Situated on the 120 km long Kyll cycle path. Kyllburg railway station is only two kilometres away.
Many sights such as Malberg Castle, Stiftsberg Kyllburg and St. Thomas Monastery are in the immediate vicinity.

The sleeping berths are just under 1.90 m long. The lower mattress could be placed lengthwise in the car for a taller person.

Great break
Thank you very much for this opportunity to get out of the everyday life in a different way. I really enjoyed the time in your little wagon. A great place in a lovingly decorated construction trailer with very nice people. I would love to come back!

Adventure weekend
We had a unique adventure weekend with our grandchildren on the property of the Simon family. Wildly romantic - sometimes we felt like in Tuscany. We would love to come back!

Nature and Hospitality
A really nicely and individually furnished place with a great ambience in such a small space to feel comfortable. Very warm welcome by the hosts and always ready for a chat. If you're looking for peace and nature, this is the right place, we felt very comfortable and would gladly use it again when the opportunity arises.

The perfect vacation
Dear Jessica, dear Andreas, dear Jannis, we spent a few wonderful days in your "little wagon"! Your warm welcome, the lovingly furnished little wagon, many small details "around it", the beautiful courtyard and last but not least, the fantastic weather exceeded our expectations. Welcome to the Kyllburg Waldeifel! After we have received a lot of positive feedback from our guests of the Quers holiday home in the southern Eifel, we have decided to tackle another project and to restore it again with a lot of our own work and ideas. Of course, it may be a historical object again this time. Since the area and the buildings of the former ironworks are very extensive, it will also take some time. That's why we started with the small construction trailer and are very pleased with the result and look forward to welcoming guests here soon. The environment and sustainability continue to be close to our hearts. That's why we want guests who think the same way and respect nature. Our accommodation is not suitable for party holidays.
