A newly renovated retro apartment with new furniture just in front of the beach Playa de la Colonia with magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea and the palm trees on the beach - Located on the 3rd floor with elevator and only 2 minutes walk from the city center and the beautiful Plaza de Espana with its small botanical garden, the white doves and the fountains. On the edge of the Plaza are 4 rubber trees over 100 years old, the City Hall and the main cherry of Aguilas. A nice place to relax in its numerous bars, restaurants, coffee shops and ice cream parlors.
The apartment has a large living room with dining area all with sea view- From the living room you go directly to the balcony. Here you can relax all day and watch the people on the palm beach directly in front of it, the old people who meet daily in the afternoon for a game of bocce or already in the morning the seagulls

The children's bedroom is equipped with 2 children's beds (size 1.85 m). If desired, these can be replaced at any time against 2 large 2 meter beds. 2 showers with toilet and 3 sinks as well as a well-equipped kitchen and the patio with washing machine complete the picture of this great apartment. From here you can reach the beach and the coast of the Costa Calida with the elevator and only a few meters to numerous stores, restaurants, bars, coffee shops and ice cream parlors.
On the roof terrace of the house, which is reached by elevator, you have a panoramic view over the entire city.

The Costa Calida (the warm coast) does not have this name for nothing, because even in the winter months you often have daytime temperatures around 20 degrees. After sunset you need a jacket. Bad weather with rain, storm and night temperatures around 6 degrees are extremely rare, but can happen. Many winter guests come to play golf on beautiful courses in Andalusia and Lorca which can be reached in 20 minutes by car.
Most of the 47 beaches and coves of Aguilas carry the Blue Flag for excellent water quality. Many of the beaches are supervised by lifeguards during the summer. If you like hiking , biking or mountain biking you will not miss out. Hiking trails, some cycling trails start directly from Aguilas and are signposted
Some museums such as the small fishing and marine museum, the railroad museum, the carnival and costume museum as well as the interesting
Archaeological Museum make you want to see culture. The Auditorium with its interesting architecture at the end of the small town (which is still called village by its inhabitants) offers gallery and often on Friday evening classical concerts. It is worth mentioning that every day (except Mondays) in the fishing port at 17.30 a fish auction for the fishmongers and restaurateurs of the city stadtfindet which one can attend.
A visit to the castle which towers over the city should not be missed except on Mondays (closing day). In February/March Aguilas is in a state of emergency because one of the 5 largest carnivals in Spain is celebrated here.
Aguilas a year-round insider tip, far from mass tourism with everything you need, many small stores, nice people, good food and good wine at moderate prices. Not for nothing it was the adopted home of Dieter Thomas Heck who was an honorary citizen here.
