The holiday flat is restored in vintage industrial style: the centrepiece is the 30 sqm designer kitchen made of wood and steel for cooking and enjoying together. Oven, pizza oven, steam oven and a 90cm induction hob in the kitchen block provide the prerequisites as well as a 2m massive dining table. There is also a lounge with 3 leather sofas and 50-inch TV for chilling out, 3 double bedrooms facing south and west, a large bright bathroom with whirlpool bath, double basins, WC and floor-level shower and a guest WC. A large sunny hall belongs to the flat and is available for playing, dancing, partying, yoga, making music. All rooms are 4m high, with solid original wooden floors in the kitchen, bedrooms and hall, with large windows and French doors onto the platform which serves as a terrace

Location and surroundings of object
Gamburg station stands alone in front of the small village of Gamburg. There are no direct neighbours. It is surrounded by greenery. The railway connection is still active, the regional Westfrankenbahn runs here. The train runs quietly ns doesn't bother much. instead, you can travel every hour in one direction (Wertheim - Aschaffenburg) or the other (Tauberbischofsheim-Lauda)
In just a few steps across a cul-de-sac and a meadow, you are directly on the Tauber, which is deep and clean and invites you to swim
Within sight is the medieval Gamburg castle on the hill opposite, which offers tours at weekends.
You can shop comfortably in the organic farm shop in the middle of Gamburg, in the small supermarket and butcher in Werbach or in the large supermarkets in Tauberbischofsheim.
Gamburg has an inn in the middle of the village, other restaurants are in Werbach and of course all the places around.

We acquired the Gamburg railway station as a damaged architectural monument from 1868 and have been restoring it since 2015. We have been renting out the flat on the upper floor since 2017 and the flat on the ground floor since 2019. Both are 170sqm in size and each has its own part of the garden.
