The accommodation is located in a quiet Main alley in the center of Marktheidenfeld, just a few steps from the Main river. Supermarkets, restaurants, playgrounds, cultural facilities, and beer gardens are within walking distance.
A highlight is our leisure pool M2 at Maradies with indoor pool, giant slide and children's area, thermal bath, and large sauna area. The outdoor pool unfortunately cannot be used at the moment due to the need for renovation. Such a one is available only 4 km away in Lengfurt, and in Trennfeld there is a bathing lake.
Marktheidenfeld is located in the district of Main-Spessart (approx. 30 km to Würzburg, approx. 45 km to Aschaffenburg).
The town with its historic old town, sports center, and many beautiful beer gardens, on the edge of the Spessart with many hiking opportunities and attractions (e.g. Mespelbrunn moated castle). Very close to us you will also find a model airfield and a climbing hall (approx. 5 km away). Golfers get their money’s worth at the Marktheidenfeld golf course.
The central location of our accommodation as a starting point for many excursions is repeatedly praised and appreciated by guests. In less than 1 hour by car you are in Frankfurt, in just over an hour in Nuremberg, and it takes only about 45 minutes to reach Freizeitland Geiselwind. The beautiful towns of Lohr (“Snow White town”, approx. 20 km), Wertheim (approx. 17 km), Karlstadt (approx. 17 km) or also Rothenfels (the smallest town in Bavaria with a castle of the same name, approx. 3 km) can be easily reached by bike and are always worth a visit because of their old and charming town centers.

Please note when arriving that our alley is very narrow. It is best to turn right from Obertorstrasse into Obere Gasse and briefly park at Mainkai for unloading. Glasergasse is the next one, from Mainkai up on the right side the 2nd door.

Very good holiday apartment
We booked the vacation apartment for a week with three adults and felt very comfortable. The apartment is centrally located in a very quiet alley. The Main is just a few steps away, as are bakeries, restaurants, daily necessities, and other shops within walking distance. All essentials for daily use are available in the apartment. The bedrooms are on the upper floor. Attention: The stairs to it are very steep, which is not a disadvantage for us.
The landlady is very friendly and competent. Upon request, she can provide numerous tips for excursions in the region and also for dining options within the town.
We sincerely thank her for her hospitality and look forward to seeing her again.

Short vacation
We were two in this old town apartment and we lacked nothing. Everything was present that we often missed in other vacation rentals until now. The apartment is right by the Main and it's not far to the various restaurants. There are also plenty of shopping options. We were warmly welcomed by the landlord and can only recommend this apartment.
Together with my family, I have travelled to many countries around the world. In Europe, we usually chose holiday flats as our accommodation. In our little house we have tried to arrange everything as we would like to find it as guests (of course within the structural possibilities of an old town house). I am always happy to meet nice people and I am also happy to advise my guests on what activities they can do in our beautiful little town and its surroundings.
