Holiday home "WATT`N LICHT am Meer" (WATT'N LIGHT by the sea)
this exclusive and comprehensively equipped holiday home is located in the newly built "harbour village" of Fedderwardersiel, a small fishing village on the Butjadingen peninsula. It is only a few minutes' walk to the original and cosy cutter harbour, the jewel of the "greenest peninsula in Germany"
The holiday home was newly built in 2022 and, equipped with a sauna and fireplace, offers year-round living comfort and a feel-good atmosphere at the highest level.
Already in the spacious entrance area you can feel the outstanding comfort of the holiday home. Here you will find ample storage space for jackets, prams, etc.
The spacious and bright living/dining area has a cosy corner sofa and a comfortable TV and reading chair. The best entertainment is provided by a bluetooth-capable music system and an internet-capable 43-inch flat screen "Samsung-The Frame", which is a feast for the eyes even when switched off. In addition to the underfloor heating throughout the house, the wood-burning fireplace ensures comfort even in stormy North Sea weather
In the dining area, a large dining table offers space for up to eight people, where you can not only dine comfortably, but also play one of the numerous board games from the existing game collection. Of course, there is also an extensive collection of books, should you run out of reading material. The house also has a fibre-optic connection, so that the free WLAN provides sufficient performance for Netflix, video conferencing and the like.
In the fully equipped fitted kitchen with brand-name appliances (extra-large fridge with freezer compartment, ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, coffee pod machine, kettle, toaster), you can conjure up even more extensive menus thanks to sufficient work space
A hoover, broom etc. are available in the storage room for cleaning in between. You can also use the washing machine in another separate room.
Two of the three bedrooms upstairs are equipped with comfortable box-spring double beds (with continuous topper and hygiene pads) and a spacious solid wood wardrobe. Seating, additional coat hooks and, in one of the bedrooms, another internet-capable 40-inch flat-screen TV complete the exclusive furnishings. A small laptop workstation is available in one of the bedrooms. The third bedroom has two solid wood beds and a spacious wardrobe. Window pleats and/or curtains allow for darkening and privacy in all rooms. For the very small holiday guests, there is a travel cot, a high chair and a small footstool in the bathroom
Both the guest bathroom on the ground floor and the master bathroom on the upper floor have spacious, ground-level showers, the latter also has a comfortable bathtub. In addition to the towel radiators in both bathrooms, the underfloor heating also provides cosy warmth here. Relaxation and enjoyment after long hikes, even on cold days, is provided by the Finnish sauna in the upstairs bathroom.
From the large south/west-facing terrace, equipped with a garden table and seating for six people, the view of the greenery is largely undisturbed by the neighbours. The charcoal grill can also be fired up here for a tasty barbecue evening. A large sunshade and adjacent trees protect you from direct sunlight. Of course, the garden surrounding the non-smoking holiday home can also be fully used.
you can comfortably park your vehicles on the two parking spaces located directly in front of the holiday home.
The "Hafendorf" Fedderwardersiel is currently still being completed. Therefore, there may be disturbances due to construction. However, the directly surrounding neighbouring houses are completed at the time of letting. Access to the holiday home is initially via an unpaved construction road. This circumstance has been adequately taken into account in the pricing.

The small fishing village of Fedderwardersiel lies in the immediate vicinity of Burhave. Even today, in the age of industrial fishing, traditional cutters still sail from here out into the North Sea to catch crabs. When they return to the harbour after a successful catch, the garnet (as the crabs are called here) can be bought fresh. You should not miss this pleasure. There are regular trips with the MS "WEGA II" from Fedderwardersiel to one of the largest seal banks on the coast. The life of the seals is observed from the ship. It is also a great experience when the Wega II lets itself dry in the middle of the Wadden Sea National Park and the captain takes his passengers for a walk along the seabed. And for those who prefer to learn about the special features of their holiday region on dry land, there is the National Park House Museum Fedderwardersiel in Fedderwardersiel with many exciting exhibitions and activities about the Wadden Sea and the history of Butjadingen.

A girls' weekend
A very pleasant stay in a tastefully decorated house. One felt very comfortable, like at home. Clean, bright, terrace with a view of the garden, quiet. Very good and helpful staff.

It is nicely furnished.
Since there is nothing to complain about, I actually finished quickly.
The location is great for cycling.
There is an outdoor pool and a play area nearby.

Great stay
We had a lovely stay. The house is super equipped and very suitable for holidays with small children. The only two negative points were the lack of fly screens and the insufficient internet connection. As we often sat on the terrace and the windows were always tilted, we unfortunately often had to deal with flies and mosquitoes in the rooms. Otherwise, there is nothing to complain about :).

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus
Das Haus lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Es hat all unsere Erwartungen komplett erfüllt.
Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit und eine Woche Urlaub mit drei Generationen in dem Haus verbracht. Wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen.

Schöner Familienurlaub
Schönes geräumiges Haus in ruhiger Lage. Nur wenige Gehminuten vom Hafen entfernt. Für 6 Personen ( 4 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) mehr als ausreichend Platz. Küche voll ausgestattet. Die Sauna und das große Bad im OG waren hervorragend. Ein Schrank voller Bücher und einer voller Spiele haben positiv überrascht.
2 Terrassen und ein Kugelgrill laden zu gemütlichen Abenden ein.
Warum nicht 5 Sterne:
Da nur alle 2 Wochen der Hausmüll geleert wird, war die Tonne von den Vormietern schon voll. Fliegengitter vor dem Fenster wären sehr nützlich gewesen (Bei vielen Nachbargründstücken vorhanden). Nur 1 gelber Sack vorhanden.
Alles in Allem aber ein toller Urlaub und auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Ein wunderbares Ferienhaus!
Dieses Ferienhaus hat uns wirklich begeistert! Es ist toll geplant und ausgestattet und lässt keinen Wunsch offen. Die Schlafzimmer sind mit hochwertigen und bequemen Betten ausgestattet. Dass es zwei Badezimmer gibt, ist wirklich praktisch und noch dazu sind sie sehr schön und wertig gebaut und eingerichtet worden. Die Küche ist schön groß und verfügt über alle Utensilien, die man für kleine und große Koch- und Backaktionen benötigt. Endlich mal ein Ferienhaus mit großem Kühlschrank, in dem neben den Lebensmitteln auch ausreichend Getränke Platz haben. Der Wohn- Essbereich ist sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet und verfügt über viele -z.T. bodentiefe- Fenster, die ggf. mit Plissees zugezogen werden können. Dass es einen Abstell- und einen Hauswirtschaftsraum gibt, ist ein zusätzlicher Pluspunkt - die Waschmaschine dürfte insbesondere Familien mit Kindern die Ferien sehr erleichtern.
Das Haus liegt am Rand der Feriendorfes und die Terrasse geht "nach hinten raus" mit Blick auf die Natur - sodass man ruhig und geschützt sitzt und einem "nicht jeder auf den Teller gucken kann".
Den Ortskern von Fedderwardersiel mit seinem Hafen und schönen Restaurants erreicht man zu Fuß in ein paar Minuten.
Dass die Straße und einige Häuser in dem Feriendorf noch nicht fertig gestellt sind, hat uns nicht gestört.
