This modern holiday apartment in Tauplitz, Styria, accommodates up to 5 guests and is part of a quiet apartment complex just a 5-minute walk from the town center. Located on the ground floor (Top 153a), it offers a spacious living room with a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, and a large bathroom. From the living room, step out onto the large terrace with lounge furniture. Guests also have access to a shared indoor swimming pool and wellness area with sauna and solarium, though the pool may not be available until October.

Tauplitz, at 1,650 m, is the highest lake plateau in Central Europe and part of the Ausseerland – Salzkammergut. Summer offers countless hiking routes, including the 6 Lakes trail, as well as cycling and mountain biking. In winter, the Tauplitzalm – Bad Mitterndorf ski area provides 43 km of slopes across three mountains, with a ski lift within walking distance.

For year-round fun, enjoy swimming at the Alpenbad Bad Mitterndorf or Lake Altaussee, or visit the GrimmingTherme with indoor and outdoor pools and wellness areas. Excursions to Bad Aussee and Hallstatt, 14 km and 30 km away, are easy. Shops and restaurants in Tauplitz and Bad Mitterndorf ensure all daily needs are covered.

The indoor pool and sauna will be closed from April 13th to April 26th, 2026. The booking calendar can remain open during this period.

I can't recommend this place enough! The apartment is beautifully decorated and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The host was extremely welcoming and made us feel at home. We enjoyed the sauna after a long day of hiking, and the views from the terrace were breathtaking. Perfect location for exploring Tauplitz and nearby attractions. We will definitely be back!

the apartment is in a nice area and looks good.allthing you need is present, beds are good, seating comfort is also good, view is beautiful.The pool was also very well maintained.The reception was cool and very rushed so from there there is the kitchen and there is the bathroom and I want another 40 euros for cleaning and no explanation or anything else and he was gone. despite the fact that there is wifi on the website it appears unavailable after repeated contact I was told with an administrator shortly there, although there was a full wifi signal. There were already several complaints from other residents about the wifi that had nothing to do with it.
