What a charming place! The houseboat is modern yet cozy, with a spacious living room. My favorite part was definitely the terrace where we could dive right into the water.

Fantastic place, quiet and secluded from the hectic atmosphere in Amsterdam. A bus takes you comfortably directly to the central station in just 25 minutes. The space is well separated from nearby accommodations, ensuring there are no disturbances from neighboring boats, and I didn't have to worry about disturbing anyone else. It was lovely to enjoy the outdoors in the morning, truly peaceful. I would definitely come back.

The house is welcoming and has everything you need; notable is the availability and readiness of the staff who respond to any inconvenience (the heating went out and they fixed it immediately). The port is beautiful and you have everything you need within the complex.

Our stay on the houseboat was quite pleasant. It was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is great, with the Volendam Museum and various dining options within walking distance. The shared pool was a nice addition, especially for the kids. Although it was a bit noisy during the day with boats coming and going, it became quiet at night. All in all, a solid choice for families looking for a fun and different vacation destination.

The 2 lights in the living room do not illuminate despite the dimmer. No large towels for the shower nor a bath mat to place your feet. I also find that a shower gel, a shampoo, salt and pepper, and coffee capsules corresponding to the rental machine would be desirable (considering the rental price).

Many things are broken, . . . . We had brought a cheese and a bottle of wine to celebrate something. The cutting board was broken and also the corkscrew. Now we were a bit late and it turned out there was no coffee. In the cottage, there is a Dolce Gusto, but they don't have the coffee cups for this machine in the shop. . . . . Then we'll have to settle for tea. It turns out that the kettle is still full of tea bags from the previous renters. . Also, the pedal bin is broken and there is also a broken liter measure. Furthermore, it is wonderfully quiet here, and we have slept well.

Shower screen doesn't stay up, and the access to the boat is not suitable for 70+ (a ramp to the door and an extra railing would have been nice), but it's lovely to wake up with all the little birds around you on the water. We certainly enjoyed it.

One more tip: if new beds are purchased, I would switch to box springs. The mattresses are too thin in the long run. We still liked it so much that we booked again for next year right away.
