This beautiful, modern houseboat in Volendam has a jetty and a shared swimming pool for the children. When you enter the marina, the boat is at the first dock on the right (I dock number 15). It is an excellent choice for family vacations!
In the harbor of Volendam, there is a swimming pool for children, a playground and you can use youth sailing boats for free, ensuring amusement for all. There are many restaurants in the harbor and you can easily walk up the dike from here. There are nice beaches next to the harbor and the houseboat itself is in a quiet place.
It is provided with a beautiful view and designer furniture. In addition, there is a provided kitchen including cutlery, crockery, refrigerator, a hob and a coffee maker (Nespresso). There is underfloor heating throughout the boat and you can relax on the terrace with a sitting area. This boot has been decorated by a stylist.

Checking in was very easy via the key box. The houseboat is nicely decorated and looks famtastic.

Beautiful, tastefully furnished tiny houseboat. The proximity to Amsterdam is great and still living in nature and especially on the water. It is particularly great to have breakfast outside in the morning with the ducks and seagulls. We felt comfortable, but a few things were missing for our taste: ladder so you can swim or get back on board, a few kitchen utensils such as a sieve, soup plate, coffee maker or at least a filter and a pot. Pillows and duvet are plastic, not very comfortable.

Special to sit in a houseboat house. Nice and cozy and fun focused. Nice and quiet place and lots of privacy. There are quite a few points for improvement that would make the stay perfect. Booked via Belvilla and using the GPS it took a long time to find the exact location. The address is the entire harbor, so where is your houseboat. Also no phone number of the owner so after a lot of walking and questions we came to the owner. Turns out we should have gotten a code where we could have grabbed the key. Not properly arranged from Belvilla. Furthermore the WiFi was free. It works so slowly that it is impossible to app, let alone watch music or videos. Little atmospheric lighting so take tea lights with you. There is no manual for the induction hob and we couldn't get it to work after calling the owner. This has helped, but you are an hour further. Note that there are only two pips. And the double bed is comfortable, but is narrow 140 cm wide. And I keep finding it separate that you get two separate duvets. We brought our own. The TV hangs at the top with the box behind it, which makes zapping difficult. You always have to get up on your toes to aim for the box. It is a pity that things like this take a lot of time and hassle so you don't really get the holiday feeling.
