Description
Zomerhuisje Noordwijk is a complete studio (2022) that is perfect for sleeping, showering and cooking or eating. This small studio is luxuriously and modernly furnished and decorated in light, calm colours. The lovely queen-size box-spring bed (2.10 x 1.60m) is freshly made on arrival. There is lighting next to the bed and you can charge your phone on either side of the bed. The summer cottage has underfloor heating and a towel radiator in the bathroom.
There is a very well-equipped kitchen with, among other things, a luxury coffee machine, a dishwasher, a large Siemens oven/microwave, an induction hob and a fridge with freezer compartment.
The bright bathroom with skylight that can be opened with a remote control is accessible via a sliding frosted glass door. In the bathroom you will find a designer suspended toilet, a washbasin cabinet with drawers and a spacious shower with glass shower door.
On the large flat-screen smart TV, you can log in to your own streaming services (for example Amazon Prime or Netflix) or watch TV via the internet (no cable TV).
At the entrance door is a mini-terrace (right of way) of 6.60 x 1.70 m with a fixed wooden bench. There you have afternoon and evening sun.
Location
The summer cottage has its own entrance in a quiet lane only 300 metres as the crow flies from the beach. The beach and the promenade are less than a ten-minute walk away. The lively centre of Noordwijk with all its shops and restaurants is a ten-minute walk away.
Our own address is Oranje Nassaustraat 9, but the summer cottage, which is behind our own house, is best reached via Irenestraat number 1, see also 'Arrival/Location'.
Parking
The summer cottage is located in a neighbourhood with paid parking (€ 3 per hour). There is a large car park (Wantveld) 150 metres away. For a one-off payment of € 25 per week or/and € 5 per booked night, you can use our parking permit by number plate. This is not a physical parking pass; we register your car registration number for it. We will ask you for your car registration number before you arrive. You do not need to do anything else. Once you are registered, you can park free of charge during your stay at the specified places in Noordwijk, e.g. Wantveld car park.

Location and surroundings of object
Do you cook your own eggs in the morning or have breakfast at a beach club today? The choice is yours! Either way, from Zomerhuisje Noordwijk it is only a stone's throw to the beach and beach clubs. Spend a nice day on the wide beach or in one of the trendy beach bars.
In the evening, you can walk straight to the promenade and the centre, where you can enjoy delicious food in dozens of restaurants and beach clubs. From Michelin-star restaurants to pizzerias. Or prepare a simple meal in the Siemens oven/microwave or on the induction hob. You can also take away a delicious Thai meal from the Thai restaurant 'Yan' around the corner (150 m).
Is the weather a little less warm or do you fancy something more active? 'Summer cottage Noordwijk' is the perfect starting point for long walks on the beach and in the dunes. Do you prefer cycling? Within three minutes you can cycle into the dunes, which have an extensive network of cycle paths.
The cosy centre of Noordwijk with all its shops is only a ten-minute walk away. Here you will find boutiques and luxury shops.
Spring park the Keukenhof (23 March - 14 May 2023) is 13 kilometres away and historic cities such as Leiden, Haarlem and The Hague can be reached in half an hour by car. Amsterdam (Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, canal cruise) is also about 40 minutes away by car.

Little Gem
I found this great little studio apartment when the hotels I have previously used when attending business meetings near Noordwijk were already booked up. That was to my benefit - I had a much nicer place to stay at a lower price, with the bonus of a walk along the beach every morning and evening. It offered everything I needed (a comfortable bed, wifi, coffee machine - and other facilities that would be ideal for a couple on vacation), was spotlessly clean, and Rogier and Kim provided quick and helpful responses to my questions.

Optimal
The furnishing of the apartment is unbeatable! Interior decorators have done an incredible job here. Very high-quality furniture is perfectly arranged. The bathroom is also top! Cooking is fun because everything you need is available. If you love Noordwijk like I do, you are in good hands here.

Uitstekend ingerichte studio
Op loopafstand van strand. Compacte maar volledig en uitgebreid uitgeruste studio. Rustige plek en wijk. Een buitenplaats is minimaal aanwezig maar daar heb je het strand voor. Snelle en prettige communicatie. Wij hebben het er goed gehad.

Just warm and cozy
Thanks to the very cozy and lovingly furnished accommodation, we were able to enjoy the days to the fullest. It was by far one of the cleanest accommodations we have ever booked. The size is completely sufficient for 2 people. One thing that would round off the whole thing, given the weather that often prevails there, would be an additional small area where you could take off and dry your wet shoes and clothes. Because it was a bit of a shame to dirty the beautiful studio.
Really highly recommended and just top.

10-day stay in August 2023
Initially, it was surprising for us that, contrary to its name "Sommerhäuschen" (little summer house), it was not a small house in the traditional sense, but rather a studio apartment. However, it is very exclusive and excellently equipped in terms of layout. There was a spacious walk-in shower. The modern furnishings and high-quality and relatively new kitchen equipment, including appliances and inventory, were remarkable. The bed comfort is praiseworthy (box spring).
The location of the apartment is slightly outside the city center, but therefore very quiet. The beach and the boulevard can be reached in a few minutes (5-7).
An extensive information folder is available, which explains the functions of all (modern) electrical appliances.
A note regarding drying small laundry or towels (e.g. wet swimwear) was taken into account.
Our opinion (couple over 70): High standard, very well-maintained accommodation, and therefore recommended for those who also value a well-groomed appearance at home.

Stylish home
We had a wonderful time in the summer house together. Very tasteful interior. Sufficient storage space, enough hangers. The coffee machine is great and the coffee delicious. There were no problems with the key safe and the previous email. The service by email was excellent. The apartment was easy to clean, as we brought a lot of sand every day. Bathing suits could be hung up and dried in the shower. A large bowl for salad would be great. Or maybe something on the outside wall of the apartment to dry clothes during the night (e.g. wetsuit). We would love to come back.

Beautiful small apartment
The vacation apartment was very suitable for two people and 5 days. Check-in and check-out went contactless. All important information was collected in a folder in the apartment. We were completely satisfied. The only thing we didn't like so much was that there was only one blanket. It was very large and could be used by two people, but we would have preferred two blankets. Otherwise, everything was really great and clean.

Beautiful "Tiny House"

Nice short trip
We were able to book the accommodation for a weekend trip at short notice and found the Zomerhuisje exactly as described and pictured. Clear recommendation - great accommodation for a holiday in Noordwijk!
We spent a wonderful holiday week in the Zomerhuisje Noordwijk. The small house is spacious, modernly furnished and absolutely nothing is missing. The facilities, especially the kitchen, are very good! The contact with the landlords Kim and Rogier was uncomplicated, always courteous and fast.
The free parking is only a minute's walk away and the beautiful, wide beach can be reached in about 7 minutes on foot.
The summer house is a good starting point for relaxed beach days, dune hikes, bike tours or even a day trip to Den Haag, Haarlem or Amsterdam.
We (couple around 30) would recommend the accommodation anytime.

Great accommodation.
The accommodation is highly recommended. We stayed there for the second time and the stay was very pleasant. The Zomerhuisje is very clean and nothing is missing in terms of equipment. Despite its central location to the center and beach, it is relaxing and quiet there. The landlords are very friendly. Flowers and a gift were waiting for us on arrival. We would love to come back.

Small cozy gem.
We immediately felt comfortable in this small studio. There was juice and Dutch candies on the pretty counter as a welcome greeting. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for a delicious meal. The extra-long box spring bed is very comfortable, and everything is very clean and well-maintained. The surroundings of the small house are quiet, so you can really relax. The beautiful beach and town are within walking distance. We had our bikes with us and could use the wonderful bike paths through the dune landscape. We would definitely come back. Thanks to the Van der Pijl family as landlords!

Very modern and comfortable small summer cottage.
Everything is super clean, modern, tasteful and equipped with many small and fine features. Nothing is missing and it's top for 2 people! The bathroom is small but nice, just like the rest. Small but nice!
We felt very comfortable here. The flat has great equipment in the kitchen area. There are good and numerous kitchen utensils included. With a fully automatic coffee machine, good coffee is directly available in the morning.
Only one thing we did not like so much. The beautiful bathroom is only separated from the kitchen by a curtain. This is not a sufficient separation between the toilet and the kitchen.

Great accommodation
The accommodation really had everything to offer!
It is warmly and very modernly furnished, and also very clean.
It invites you to feel at home and we really appreciated the facilities and the proximity to the beach.

Very nice accommodation
Small holiday home with modern furnishings. The location is very good, a short walk to the beach (about 10 minutes) and to the city centre. The accommodation was very clean when we arrived and there were also fresh flowers. You arrive and immediately feel at home. Everything you need is there.
The contact with the landlords went smoothly. The cottage can definitely be recommended. We had a great stay.

Very nice small accommodation for 2
Really tastefully decorated with love, even fresh flowers were there on arrival. Modern, clean and equipped with everything important, comfortable bed. The only drawback was that the toilet was only separated from the living/bedroom by a thin curtain, which was a bit annoying. Nevertheless, full recommendation.

Great accommodation.
We had a great time in the modern, clean and perfectly equipped accommodation. It is spacious enough for two people and very comfortable. The parking area is very close and it's not far to the beach or the city. The contact with the landlords via email was very friendly and questions were answered quickly. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Arrive and feel good
The summer cottage is absolutely to be recommended. It has everything you need, even more. Some normal households are not so well equipped. Absolutely nothing is missing, and everything is very new and of high quality, and as stated in the description. The cottage is very tastefully decorated and just cosy.
The location is also very good. It is only a few minutes walk to the beach and the village.
The contact was very nice and uncomplicated. We would definitely want to book it again the next time we are on holiday in Noordwijk.

Beautiful accommodation
We absolutely enjoyed our few days here in November!
The contact by mail to the landlords was very nice.
The accommodation is brand new, perfectly equipped with everything, bright, modern, clean, big enough for two people and very cosy. The photos reflect everything perfectly. There is a separate entrance, so you are all to yourself
Parking is close by and you don't walk far to the beach/city. We were a bit surprised about the missing door to the bathroom :-) There was only a curtain. Since everything else was so nice, we don't deduct a star for that!
It won't stop us from coming back for sure!!!

Ein schöner Urlaub in Noordwijk.
Einfach nur ein toller Urlaub.
Das Häuschen ist sehr zu empfehlen, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und für 2 Personen vollkommen ausreichend.
Auch ist alles vorhanden, es fehlt einem an nichts, außer ein Eierkocher ?. Aber der Topf tut es auch.
Der Empfang war herzlich und bei Problemen, konnte man sich jederzeit melden.
Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
Wenn ich könnte, würde ich mehr Sterne vergeben.

Tolles Haus für schöne Tage am Meer
Wir haben uns sehr wohl im Sommerhäuschen gefühlt! Die Lage ist perfekt, um die umliegenden Städte Amsterdam, Haarlem, Leiden und Den Haag zu besichtigen. Der Strand ist fußläufig in unter 10 Minuten zu erreichen und wunderschön. Die Ausstattung ist sehr, sehr umfangreich und es war alles da, was wir brauchten. Vielen Dank für den ausführlichen Ordner mit den wichtigsten Infos zum Haus und zur Umgebung. Wir hatten tolle Tage und kommen gerne wieder.

Dreamlike beach holiday
We spent a wonderful, relaxing holiday in a small, lovingly furnished, modern and clean holiday flat. There was simply nothing missing. The coffee was very delicious! It is only a stone's throw from the summer house to the beach and restaurants. Leiden and The Hague are very easy to reach by bus. We would love to come back!

Schöne kleine Ferienwohnung
Eine schöne kleine und sehr saubere Ferienwohnung, perfekt für zwei Leute.
Es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.
Die nähe zum Strand ist optimal und auch als Ausgangspunkt für diverse Städtetrips ist die Wohnung super gelegen!

Nice and cosy little place for a couple
We had a nice stay in this recently renovated little place. Although it is small the renovation was well done to make this a really comfortable studio with good quality materials. The bed is very comfortable, the shower as well, the kitchen is fully equipped and all accessories are there. There is no garden nor terrace, but it is at close walking distance from all you need, the beach and the city center with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. The owner lives nearby and was very friendly and helpful. Documentation with all useful information was available. If you are looking for something small but with all comfort for a short stay, I can recommend this place.

Klein - aber fein
In diesen 23m² ist alles zu finden, was das Herz begehrt. Neben dem Geschirrspüler sind auch genügend Backutensilien und Geschirr vorhanden. Die Wohnung ist sehr hell und fast ausschließlich in weiß gehalten. Auch die Wohnlage ist sehr ruhig und die Wohnung war sauber und ordentlich. Ein wunderschöner Blumenstrauß stand auf dem Tisch und Gewürzpflanzen verschönerten die Dunstabzugshaube.
Am Morgen wird man sanft von dem Vogelgezwitscher aus dem Garten des Vermieters geweckt. In gut 5-7min zu Fuß ist man schon am Strand, welcher zur richtigen Jahreszeit zum Surfen einlädt.
Die Vermieter antworten sehr freundlich, schnell und konkret auf Rückfragen. Auch die Wohnungsübergabe erfolgte problemlos über den Schlüsselkasten und weiterhin wurde die Kaution zeitnah zurück überwiesen.

Jederzeit wieder
