The very well-maintained holiday flat occupies the entire upper floor of a villa and consists of three bedrooms, a living room, large kitchen and bathroom with shower. Two bedrooms are equipped with double beds, the third with a pull-out bed. From two rooms there is direct access to the balcony, with magnificent views over the old town of Pietrabruna and the valley. In the living room there is a sofa bed that can serve as two additional sleeping places. All rooms are accessible from a hallway, there are no passage rooms. The spacious kitchen is well equipped, there is a large dining table, a gas cooker with electric oven, a fridge with freezer compartment. Adjacent to the kitchen is a second balcony, where you can have your first coffee in the morning or enjoy a glass of wine in the evening.
The flat faces south-west, so even in the colder months you can enjoy sunshine on the balcony until late in the evening.
The property is heated with a gas floor heating system, the costs are calculated according to consumption. There is a TV as well as WiFi.
You can drive up to the door for loading and unloading and park directly under the house in the public car park.
The pretty terrace is equipped with garden furniture and the brick charcoal barbecue is ready.
The landlords run the small Alimetari shop in the village and are very nice and helpful.

Location and surroundings of object
Only 10 km behind the popular seaside resort of San Lorenzo al Mare, the mountain village of Pietrabruna lies on a slope open to the sea. The village has a long history dating back to the 12th century. In the centre of the village, the medieval structures are still very recognisable. You quickly get lost in the labyrinth of small alleys, stairways and covered passages, the so-called caruggios. The palpably mystical atmosphere is enchanting. Time has stood still here. In the past, Pietrabruna was not only known for its olive cultivation but above all for its lavender fields and the production of lavender essence. Unfortunately, there are only a few lavender farmers left. The other product, known far beyond the borders of the village, is the "Stroscia die Pietrabruna". A very special cake baked in the village bakery and sold in the shop next door. Be sure to try it!
In the village there is a nice bar and grocery shop, the owner is your landlady!
In the neighbouring village of Torre Papaponi you will find a particularly good and famous restaurant "La Pignatta d'Oro", but the quality has its price.
Below Pietrabruna there are beautiful bathing pools with a waterfall, the so-called Laghetti.
The nearest seaside resort, San Lorenzo al Mare, has beautiful, free sandy beaches. You don't have to pay an entrance fee, you can rent deckchairs, but you don't have to. The small old town, which ends at a palm-lined promenade, has some good restaurants, bars, shops and very good ice cream parlours. It is small but nice. From our many years of experience, we can say that you can easily find a parking space in San Lorenzo even in August. From here, the newly developed "Pistaciclabile" - the longest cycle path in Europe - leads along the old railway line directly by the sea to far beyond Sanremo. You can easily rent the bikes in San Lorenzo, the route is completely car-free and can also be ridden by children.
