The ancient, typical Ligurian town house stands on a picturesque piazza in the medieval old town of Pietrabruna.
The house consists of 3 floors, as so often in Liguria, there are various intermediate levels, podium and surprising room layouts. A quaint mixture of a labyrinth and a rabbit hole, as it was built centuries ago in Liguria.
On the first level you will find a living room and the first bathroom. The bathroom has a bath and a washing machine. On the next level there is a spacious bright kitchen with a dining table. From the kitchen you reach the bedroom with a double bed, the second bathroom with shower and the "children's room" with a bunk bed. All rooms have windows, there are plenty of cupboards and storage for your personal belongings. From the kitchen a narrow spiral staircase leads to the beautiful roof terrace. Here you can look over the whole village to the sea. On the terrace you will find next to the sun loungers and a small charcoal grill.
The house has been restored with great care and effort, retaining many antique details. Casa Gionni has an incomparable charm. It is a simply furnished, very authentic object in a fantastic location, ideal for those looking for genuine, original Liguria.
The house has a small garage where you can conveniently park your bikes or motorcycles. If you do not have any bikes, you have 4 bicycles available.
You can drive directly to the house for loading and unloading, it is only a few meters to the next parking lot.

Location and surroundings of object
Just 10 km beyond the popular seaside resort of San Lorenzo al Mare, the mountain village of Pietrabruna is open on a slope overlooking the sea. The town has a long history dating back to the 12th century. In the center of the medieval structures are still very well recognizable. You lose yourself quickly in the labyrinth of small streets, stairs and covered passageways, the so-called Caruggios. The noticeably mystical atmosphere enchants. Here time has stopped. Previously, Pietrabruna was known not only for the olive growing but mainly for its lavender fields and the production of lavender essence. Unfortunately, there are only a few lavender farmers left. The other product known far beyond the border of the village is the "Stroscia the Pietrabruna". A very special cake, which is baked in the village bakery and sold in the nearby shop. Absolutely try!
In the village there are two restaurants, with "Au Torciu" in the middle of the old town is particularly recommended. Very good food at a fair price. There are also two-line bars open all day.
In the neighboring village of Torre Papaponi you will find a particularly good and famous restaurant "La Pignatta d'Oro", but the quality has its price.
