-- sunbathing lawn with own jetty directly at the canal / Ijsselmeer (fresh water)
-- shutters and mosquito screens on the bedroom windows and dining room windows
-- quiet location in a dead end street with adjacent nature reserve
-- 1 small blue/white rowing boat ( oarlocks) or a larger red/white boat only drivable with outboard motor
-- a small outboard can be rented for 60,00 €/week. (fits on both boats)
-- 4 bicycles (usable depending on the treatment of the previous tenants)
-- 4 big surfboards for paddling; kayak paddles in div. sizes/standup paddles usable depending on the treatment of the previous tenants
-- Rental only by the week from Saturday to Saturday.

Location and surroundings of object
Makkum is a picturesque old fishing village with numerous buildings, views and canals worth seeing. For many years Makkum has been known as a water sports paradise. One reason for this is certainly the shallow Ijsselmeer beach, which has a few hundred meters of knee-deep water. A true paradise for surfers and of course an ideal area for children.
You can go hiking or biking and will always be impressed by the endless distant views and the vast meadows and tulip fields, canals and lakes.
However, if you prefer a sporty and active vacation, then surfing and sailing are among the many possibilities. You can also visit one of the Wadden Islands in the North Sea by boat or ferry, or take a seal tour in the Wadden Sea with the Seestern. The picturesque harbor towns of Enkhuizen, Hoorn, Hinteloppen, Stavoren, Harlingen should not be missed.

Cancellation terms:
Cancellation and termination of stay If the tenant cancels (terminates) the contract before the start of the rental period without naming a subsequent tenant who enters into the contract under the same conditions, the following proportional rents (excluding final cleaning) are to be paid as compensation, deducting any saved expenses, provided that re-letting is not possible: Cancellation - up to 60 days before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price - up to 45 days before the start of the rental period: 70% of the rental price - up to 30 days before the start of the rental period: 90% of the rental price - otherwise (later than 30 days before the start of the rental period) 100% of the rental price. Nonetheless, the landlord will endeavor to rent the property to someone else. A cancellation or termination can only be made in writing. The decisive factor is the date on which the statement is received by the landlord.

The top holiday home deserves more than 5 stars.
The holiday home is perfectly equipped, including Alexa. There is really nothing missing. 2 parking spaces in front of the house. Ideal for water sports enthusiasts and cyclists. Boat, surfboards, bicycles, everything is there and in very good condition. The landlords provide more than perfect extensive information about the house and the surroundings. We have never experienced anything like this before!!! Beautiful flat bathing beach at the Ijsselmeer reachable by a short walk. A very good fish snack bar with affordable prices near the beach, among others. Those who do not feel comfortable in this house should rather stay at home.

Beautiful house on the Ijsselmeer
Very clean facility, the house is very well equipped, nothing is missing! The Renner family can always be reached and questions are answered quickly. For me, this facility was the most child-friendly one we have visited. There are several playgrounds nearby. Everyone will find plenty of activities here for children and adults. Beautiful house with very good facilities
The well-maintained, very clean house is beautifully situated and really so well equipped that you will find everything you could imagine. The very friendly landlords are always available and caring if you have any questions.The house is conveniently located for getting to the beach or going on excursions by bike or car.The well-maintained park itself also offers many opportunities for leisure activities.

Very nice outdoor house in beautiful surroundings
Ideal starting point for exploring the surroundings. With a beautiful view of the Ijsselmeer, and from the terrace on the jetty to the boat ... The over-complete equipment leaves nothing to be desired !
