Before our trip, we had a very nice contact with the landlords; everything went smoothly. On-site, we found a beautiful, lovingly furnished holiday home. The house offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The house is located in a very quiet park. We particularly liked the proximity to the sea and the center. We can wholeheartedly recommend the holiday home. That’s why we booked again for next year right away.

Top holiday home

For the second time, we spent our vacation in Meerestraum. A well-maintained holiday home equipped with great attention to detail. The technical facilities of the house are of high quality. Very good internet connection. Here, even the dog is greeted with treats and is not just tolerated. The property is well-fenced, even for large dogs. The contact with the landlords is very personal and friendly. Conclusion: great house, would love to come back again.

We had a great week in Callantsoog. The holiday home has a prime location and is beautifully furnished. It has everything you need. Things we forgot to bring were provided by the friendly and helpful contact on-site. We were received very kindly and warmly, with small gifts for the children. Overall, highly recommended!

We had a great vacation in this beautiful holiday home. Very well equipped, great location, and very clean. The "good soul" Annemarie took wonderful care of us. The landlady is also very nice and was immediately available for all questions and information. We will definitely come back. I would like to share my extremely positive experience with the holiday home and the support provided by Mrs. Köster.

The holiday home impresses with its modern facilities and excellent location. It is stylishly and at the same time comfortably furnished, making one feel at home immediately. The high-quality furniture and well-thought-out room layout contribute to a pleasant stay. We were particularly impressed by the attention to detail that is perceptible throughout the entire house.

The location of the house is also perfect. It is quiet, yet central, so you can quickly reach the surrounding sights and leisure activities. The surrounding area invites you to relaxed walks and exploration tours.

A special thanks to Mrs. Köster, who was available on-site as a contact person at all times. She was not only extremely helpful and friendly but also surprised us with a loving welcome gift for our dog upon our arrival as a gift from the hosts Lara and Dennis. This small gesture once again shows how warmly and hospitably we were welcomed.

All in all, our stay in this holiday home was simply wonderful. We enjoyed our time very much and will definitely come back. I can highly recommend this holiday home without reservation. 5 well-deserved stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We can only recommend the house. It is clean, has everything you need. The house is lovingly furnished and decorated. The location is very quiet but you are quickly at the beach and in the town center, the garden is not overlooked and fenced, but not cramped and nicely sunny.
A very nice contact with the landlords.
Nice gifts for reception for humans and dogs.
We felt completely comfortable and will definitely come back.

Everything is perfect

I was with my mother [86 years old] in this beautiful house.
We felt comfortable right away.
We have booked several houses in the Netherlands, but this house was by far the most beautiful.
It lives up to its name.
"Sea dream" enchanted us and became our home for this week.

Dream vacation with your dog in a sea paradise!

This beautiful holiday home is offered by hosts who clearly care about the well-being of their guests. The contact with the hosts was personal and extremely friendly. The organization and key handover on site was uncomplicated, with a welcome gift for me and even for my dog - super sweet and thoughtful.
The house is optimally equipped, very modern, decorated with lots of love, and everything was very, very clean. Small QR codes revealed how electrical appliances work, there were various pillow shapes for sleeping, all kinds of kitchen utensils, Alexa, and much more. The garden was secluded and securely fenced, so I could enjoy time in the garden with my dog.
Callantsoog and the surrounding area is a beautiful holiday region, the tulip fields were a dream.
I was completely happy in the Sea Dream Callantsoog and can't wait to come back. Thank you!

Great beach vacation with a dog

The holiday home has a great equipment, a great location and super nice landlords who were always approachable.

Really everything was available and upon request, bed linen and towels were also available. On-site there was a well-equipped kitchen and a washing machine. Two bathrooms, even one with a bathtub, are available.

For us it was essential that we could bring our dogs. Here, too, there was a welcome package with food and bowls, and dog beds were available, and the floor for the dogs was not slippery.

The only small thing, a slightly more opaque curtain in the bedroom facing the courtyard, so that the lantern is not so bright, would be perfect, as I am very sensitive in this regard, but this is complaining at a very high level.

You can walk to the beach in 5 minutes. To the city 10-15 minutes.

Overall, a great holiday in a great holiday home, highly recommended.

Absolutely recommended

Rarely do I write a review. But with this accommodation, everything was just right. We were three people with two dogs in December over New Year's and felt completely comfortable. Very nice landlords. The accommodation has been newly renovated and was very, very clean. There was absolutely nothing missing in the house. The small garden, which is well fenced, is ideal especially for families with dogs. Even now in December, we sat outside with a cup of tea and enjoyed it. We especially have to praise the comfortable mattresses - a dream. We can unreservedly recommend this accommodation.

Always a pleasure!

Like last year, we felt very comfortable again. The house is fully equipped, and unlike many other vacation rentals, it has two bathrooms. The location near the beach and the town is very nice, both are easily reachable on foot. Den Helder or Alkmaar can also be easily visited by car. And the personal on-site or telephone support is excellent.

Perfect for families with a dog

The accommodation in Callantsoog was very beautiful and cozy. A detached house with a fenced garden. Free parking is available just around the corner. There is a handcart in the accommodation for the luggage. It is not far to the beach and the village. Very good communication with the landlords.

Great! A wonderful accommodation!

The holiday home is very centrally located to the beach and also to the town, so you can easily do everything on foot. The furnishings are very high quality and everything is lovingly decorated. The kitchen equipment is also great, you have enough cutlery, dishes and glasses and also various utensils (almost like at home). There is also a very sturdy beach cart.

Thanks to the convenient location to the parking lot (car-free parking), you can quickly bring everything into the house.
There are nice routes for walks with the dog in the immediate vicinity.

We will gladly come back!

Perfect seaside holiday

In May, we spent our family holiday at Meerestraum for the second time. We felt comfortable all around. You can tell that the landlords put a lot of heart and soul into the property. From the QR codes for operating instructions to the furnishings and equipment to the always available beer crate, everything has been thought of to make the stay even more beautiful and cozy. Evaluation

We spent a wonderful Christmas in a great house. Thank you very much for the beautiful Christmas bag with small presents as well as for the welcome wine and the dog treats.
The house is very lovingly furnished and lacks nothing. The centre of the village is within walking distance through a small forest and directly behind it the dunes and the beach.
All in all, it was a great holiday and everyone felt very comfortable. We would love to come back again!

A great holiday!

My wife and her parents went on an autumn holiday for a week. But not only was the weather far better than expected, the accommodation was really wonderful. Ok, the downstairs bathroom is quite small, but practical, and the stairs to the upstairs rooms cannot be expected of every 85 year old, but fortunately our "oldies" are still very spry.


Thanks to the great facilities, we wanted for nothing, and if we had any questions, Lara was always there to answer them. The location is wonderfully quiet, and both the beach and the town can be reached quickly and easily on foot. We didn't notice that there are regularly dogs here, everything was very clean. Thank you very much for a really great holiday!

Dreamlike House

We really liked it. Everything was perfect. The amenities in the house are very high quality; nothing was missing. In just about 10 minutes, you are at the beautiful beach and in the small town center. Perfect for cycling and relaxing. Especially the garden at the house is perfect for unwinding.

Really a dream by the sea

Here the name really says it all! I spent a wonderful week in the beautiful house of Lara and Dennis with my mother and our four dogs. The house is lovingly furnished and designed with attention to detail and all comforts. Nothing is missing here. The two bedrooms upstairs are really spacious, and you sleep wonderfully there. In the lower bedroom, we only stored our suitcases, which we didn't want to carry up the typical Dutch stairs. The two bathrooms are, like everything else, freshly and tastefully renovated. In the barely visible garden, there are many seating options, and it is wonderful to listen to the birdsong there. The car-free Park de Garnekuul also pleased us very much. Depending on one's walking speed, it takes a maximum of 15 minutes to get to the beach, the village, and the nearby heath area with great hiking trails. Both from the landlords and from Mrs. Köster on-site, we were provided with a lot of helpful information, and we felt warmly welcomed and cared for. We would gladly come back anytime!

Relaxing vacation in SeaDream

The newly renovated holiday home, furnished with great attention to detail, offers everything for a relaxing and peaceful vacation on the coast of North Holland. We stayed at MeeresTraum with our adult children and our dog and enjoyed our time very much in beautiful weather. The small garden and the terrace with nice furniture are fully fenced and not visible from the outside. We were able to enjoy our breakfast on the terrace every morning, and our dog had enough space to play. The beautiful wide and clean beach and the town center with many nice shops can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot, so the car can stay parked. The small holiday complex is very well-maintained and quiet. There are plenty of parking spaces available. The contact with Mrs. Köster was pleasant and unobtrusive. All in all, a very nice vacation for us. We will surely come again.

Unbelievable service

We felt very comfortable. The service was absolutely top-notch. You can tell that the hosts do this with passion. We were wished a good trip in the morning and offered a cold beer upon arrival. Everything is like new. The garden is a dream. The house is very quiet, and the best part was the garden and the tranquility. We really liked the short walk to the sea, as well as the town with its numerous shops. Not only was the accommodation absolutely clean, but the city and the beach were also very well-maintained, as one can hardly find anywhere else.
