Casa Iris, newly built in 2010 with private pool, is located in a quiet isolated position 4 km outside the medieval town of Roccastrada. Surrounded by a 5000 m² large property with meadow, bushes and trees. From this typical Tuscan stone house and also from the pool, you have a beautiful view of the surrounding hills, fields and the village
For 6 people, the annex can be rented for an extra charge (prices see my own website vacation home-maremma). You would then have a bathroom, kitchenette, refrigerator, TV more.
If you rent the house without the annex for up to 6 people, see price list below, the annex is not rented to other people. You occupy the property alone.
The property is accessible by a 3.5 km white road. Depending on weather conditions, this can be uneven due to washouts. Low vehicles must be driven slowly.

Location and surroundings of object
The cottage is situated in a secluded position with a lovely view over the hills about 4 km outside Roccastrada, a medieval village.
In Roccastrada you will find stores of all kinds, pharmacy, bank, post office, pizzerias, restaurants with outdoor terrace. The nearest sandy beaches are in Follonica + Castiglione della Pescaia, between 40 + 45 km away. To the bathing lake Accesa it is 30 km, to the river Farma 14 km. The surrounding area invites you to go hiking.
