Opposite the resort is a marina and the city center. It is wonderfully quiet there. However, if you want more liveliness, you are not far from the nearby and well-known seaside resort of Renesse
Lake Grevelingen is the largest and cleanest saltwater lake in Europe. The lake is a well-known windsurfing area and also offers wonderful opportunities for all other water sports such as sailing, fishing, canoeing, diving and rowing. In addition, boat tours are very popular
In the immediate vicinity there are very well developed bike paths. From the vacation home you can walk along the beach path to Renesse and nearby Port Greve (on Lake Grevelingen), the picturesque village of Brouwershaven and the beach of Brouwersdam or the village of Burgh Haamstede
Brouwershaven is nearby and has an inland port, a fishmonger, some bistros and stores that can be easily reached by bike
There are many restaurants in the area. After a nice beach or dune walk in Renesse (family Laone beach) you can come to rest in the restaurant 'Zeerust'. There it is very cozy and also in spring and autumn you can enjoy the sun on the restaurant's own terrace
The beautiful Zierikzee with inland harbor, stores and restaurants or also the municipality of Veere on Walcheren are certainly worth a visit
The fantastic pristine sandy beaches are kilometers long and perfect for hours of beach walks.
Nearby you can also go horseback riding
At the Brouwersdam you can go cycling and inline skating very nicely and at the same time you have a great view of the Grevelingen lake on one side and the North Sea on the other
Near Burgh Haamstede there is a forest (Boswachterij Westerschouwen). In this area you can also make beautiful walks or visit the exhibition about the storm surge weirs in the Oosterschelde on the island "Neeltje Jans" (very worth seeing). There is also an information center about the Delta Works in the Netherlands. In addition, in Burgh Haamstede there is a well-known glider airport.

Scharendijke is located on the Zeeland island of Schouwen-Duiveland and borders the North Sea and Grevelingen Lake. Scharedijke is a small seaside resort with a few restaurants, a café, supermarket, newsagent, household goods and bike rental.
Zeeland Schouwen-Duiveland is the northernmost part of the province of Zeeland. To the north is the Brouwersdam and Grevelingen Lake, to the south the Oosterschelde storm surge barrier. Here you will find Zeeland's widest beaches and thus the best conditions for kite flying, kite surfing or a beach buggy ride. But you can also just enjoy the sun
This area has the most hours of sunshine in the Netherlands.

From the direction of Venlo:
Venlo - Eindhoven - Tilburg A58 - A58 Breda - Rotterdam A58, direction Rotterdam A16, exit Zierikzee (follow the signs to Zierikzee). In Zierikzee, at the first roundabout, follow signs for Renesse, then follow signs for Scharendijke and from there follow signs for Brouwershaven and Osse, turn right into Zeeland Village
From the direction of Rotterdam:
Coming from Rotterdam via Europoort, follow the N57 towards Middelburg and Hellevoetsluis. Then take the Scharendijke exit and follow the signs to Scharendijke. Then follow direction Brouwershaven and Osse, turn right into Zeeland Village
The price is between 225 and 1,350 euros per week (depending on the season and rental period).

In high season the cottage is only rented per week (Saturday/Saturday)

Nice and clean accommodation in a good location.
We had a very nice week at Summio Park Port Greve in Scharendijke, the house was clean, modernized and well equipped. The landlord and the house manager were easily reachable and communication and key handover were very clear and uncomplicated.
In the neighboring Summio Park in Oss we rented bicycles and explored the area. Many beautiful beaches and beach bars are easily accessible by bike, and the surrounding regions can also be explored by car or ferry.

Delightful location
Beautiful varied walking routes, great dining options in the area. Close to Renesse where it's nice to stay.
Bathroom recently renovated. With a nice bath and a very spacious shower, which is quite nice.

The house is located in a nice quiet park close to the beach! The spacious garden is great for the kids and offers a whole day of sunshine! The house is very spacious, tidy, and clean! We will definitely come back again!
