Long walks on the beach and the promenades, in the fresh Baltic Sea air, are wonderful in winter. Delicious food, preferably fish, is available everywhere in the town. Don't forget shopping, as stores in Kühlungsborn are also open in winter, which is not a given everywhere. Staying at the Dunes Castle is great, the location is perfect. Note: my personal wish would be better Wi-Fi, no hotspot.

The apartment has good amenities. The location right by the beach is very nice. The city forest directly at the back of the property was also optimal for us with a dog.

Beautiful apartment with loving furnishings. Due to the kitchen layout, the stove is unfortunately partly above the refrigerator. For this reason, the refrigerator warms up when using the stove. Otherwise, the apartment is highly recommended for 3 to a maximum of 4 people.

The apartment is super central, right by the dog beach and the city forest. Everything was very clean, cutlery and dishes were sufficiently available. The beds are very comfortable and not worn out. The bathroom is large enough and leaves nothing to be desired in terms of details (hooks for towels, cosmetic mirror, storage space at the sink).

Everything as described. The photos make the apartment and the pool appear larger. But for 4 people, everything is solidly available. Wi-Fi (speed) rating 3 out of 5. (max. 3 devices) The kitchen has everything except an oven. The pizza around the corner is anyway fresher ;-) Parking opens with the apartment key and also the topic of garbage (separation) is well organized. 2 nice saunas bring joy on cooler days. Heating was top. Balcony in this apartment faces west, so breakfast outside is not possible (except in summer), but reading a book or smoking outside in the evening works great. For 4 people, the balcony is very narrow. Just a few meters to the beach, that is really perfect. Clothes dryer and bike rack in the basement. There is even an elevator. Clear recommendation!

The holiday apartment is directly on the beach behind the dike, about 50m. You can walk everywhere, although bicycles are available. Even in February, the Baltic Sea is very beautiful; the weather this weekend was also exceptionally nice. All in all, we really enjoyed it.

The welcome at the key reception was warm. The young employee was very friendly and patient with us (we, 69, // 77/78 years old, had many questions). The address is confusing: Ostseeallee No. 36; we searched in vain for the number from the street because 37 is indicated there. At the back entrance, we found 36 - which turned out to be a house. The location is top. Very short walk to the beach, just across the street, and the beach is almost reached. Bakery 2 houses down. All shopping options, restaurants, center, etc. are easily accessible on foot. It is pleasant that cleaning and dishwashing products are provided. For three people, the price of the vacation apartment was also acceptable. We would be happy to vacation there again and can recommend the accommodation and the provider to everyone.

We spent a very nice vacation in this vacation apartment as a group of three. A big plus is the location of the apartment, just across the street and you're already at the beach. The apartment is well-equipped and very clean, as is the property "Dünenschloss" overall. The beds were also very comfortable, which I rarely experience on vacation. The balcony was okay for three people, but it would have been very cramped for four. And better Wi-Fi would be great. But those are just minor details. I would definitely book there again!

Very nice, comfortably furnished holiday apartment. In the basement, you can use the washing machine and dryer; there is a swimming pool on the premises (it was unfortunately too cold for me), and the two saunas are very nice and recommended. Behind the facility is the city forest, which is ideal for dogs. In House 1, there is a great bakery with delicious items. We felt very comfortable overall.

Beautiful apartment for 2 people. For 4, as intended, it would have been a bit cramped. We actually only missed a couch, even though the recliners were comfortable. Good location, everything within walking distance.

Absolutely recommended, although it is priced in the higher segment, especially in summer. It is unfortunate that the fitness and wellness area could not be used due to Corona. The location could not be better. The option to check in earlier and get a second parking space convinced me to book again through Meer F.U.N. The apartment has a nice balcony, an elevator, and a washing machine in the building, and is located right by the dog beach. I will come back.

Our booked apartment was located on the first floor, facing the city forest. The balcony was furnished and covered. The apartment was in excellent condition and had everything needed for a beach holiday. The layout of the apartment was very good, and the chairs were very comfortable. There was enough crockery and cutlery, which we greatly appreciated, and everything was uniform. The price-performance ratio is perfectly fine. Meerfun as a landlord is very reliable and quickly addresses concerns or questions. The Dünenschloß complex is very well-maintained, with a caretaker present on-site daily. The only point of criticism is the laundry rental. Laundry packages must be booked additionally and cost extra. Unfortunately, we only had uniform white bed linens and towels, and for our double bed, there were only regular bed sheets. We had expected fitted sheets (didn't even know that the other type still exists). For the box spring bed in the second bedroom, one had to somehow get the two sheets on the bed or borrow an extra large sheet for an additional fee. I wish for a little more flexibility. Since the weather wasn't very nice, we spent more time in the apartment and were glad that everything was as described and very cozy.

The vacation apartment is located in a clean complex in Kühlungsborn West towards Kühlungsborn East and has a small swimming hall and a fitness room. Our 15-year-old son enjoyed using both. A good bakery and the climbing forest are very nearby. Unfortunately, the internet access in the apartment was very weak and did not always work.

The location of the bike storage room is a disaster. Especially for e-bikes. Steep stairs with a very narrow path for the bike. Very slippery when wet. High risk of accidents. Hardly usable for older people.
