The Luise holiday flat is for max. 4 persons and is located in a former farmstead with 5 hectares of meadows, forest and 2 streams. The flat is on the ground floor and has a large living room with kitchenette and sofa bed (1.6 x 2 m) for 2 people, a bedroom with double bed 1.6 m wide and a bathroom with shower. It was only restored in 2019 and nicely and comfortably furnished with appealing furniture. The flat has its own garden with garden furniture and barbecue in front of the house. In the mill yard there is a sauna, a table tennis table, a children's swing, a place for ball games and a nice fireplace.

The Mühlenhof in which the Luise holiday flat is located has a very beautiful, quiet location in the valley of the Wilde Weißeritz near Altenberg and only 6 km from the border to the Czech Republic. It is surrounded by 5 hectares of natural grounds with forest, meadows and two streams. The area around Altenberg was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2019 because of its special nature. With its unique natural landscape, dense forests, mountain meadows and high moors, it is one of the most beautiful low mountain ranges in Germany. An extensive network of well-signposted hiking trails invites you to go on extended tours. Here you can relax and recharge your batteries far away from the stresses and strains of everyday life. Beautiful landscape and nature images and magnificent views leave lasting impressions
In the surroundings of Altenberg there is a wide range of leisure activities for young and old, several outdoor swimming pools, in Altenberg a beautiful bathing lake, the Raupennest bathing landscape, a summer toboggan run and a visitor mine, in Schellerhau a botanical garden with a sound trail, in Geising a wildlife park, the Weißeritzbahn with steam trains and much more. In winter, several ski slopes, toboggan runs and 60 km of groomed cross-country ski trails await you. Altenberg has artificial snow and floodlighting.

| The rental prices are valid for an occupancy of 2 persons, each additional person up to max. 4 persons with surcharge. Additional costs and services: Electricity and heating according to consumption, final cleaning 60 € (will be refunded if the flat is left clean), optional bed linen, sheets, towels 10 € per person, children's travel cot with bed linen one-time 20 €, children's high chair free of charge, dog fee one-time per animal 20 €, sledges free of charge, snowshoes for a fee, deposit 100 € (winter 150 €), visitor's tax 1 € per person and day, children/young people up to 18 years half. |
Cancellation terms:
You can cancel your travel and rental contract at any time before the start of the trip; the relevant time is when the cancellation notice is received. In this case, I am entitled to charge a flat-rate cancellation fee. If you cancel up to the 60th day before the start of occupancy, 20% of the total price is due, from the 59th to the 30th day before, 50% is due, and from the 29th day to the day before the start of occupancy or in case of no-show, 100% of the total price is due. I recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.

The driving force behind my activities is my love of nature and old buildings, especially in Italy. It started in Umbria almost 30 years ago, by chance I discovered a very old, abandoned farmhouse in the Valnerina National Park in a wonderful panoramic position. I restored it with a lot of energy and rented it out. This was followed by a farmhouse in the Cilento National Park by the sea, in the midst of a unique natural landscape south of Salerno, and then came the Mühlenhof in the Osterzgebirge mountains near Altenberg, a magnificent area that has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2019.
