Trassenheide is a beautiful little Baltic seaside resort on the island of Usedom. It lies somewhat set back on the shore of the Baltic Sea. The tranquillity - far away from the hustle and bustle - is what makes it so appealing as a holiday resort. The beach is one of the most beautiful Baltic Sea beaches and is particularly suitable for families with children. The community is very easy to reach by car and with the Usedom Bäderbahn.
The town of Wolgast is about eight kilometres west of the municipality and the well-known Baltic resort of Zinnowitz is four kilometres east.
The climate is similar to that of the Baltic resort of Zinnowitz. It is the sunniest place in Germany with an average annual sunshine duration of 1917 hours. Our holiday flats are located at Kampstraße 18 in 17449 Ostseebad Trassenheide on the sunny island of Usedom.
It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the beach through the coastal forest.
In the immediate vicinity (less than 50 m) are:
- Tourist information
- Supermarket with butcher and baker
- several restaurants
- Cash machine
- Post box.
The railway station and sights such as the "house on the head" or the butterfly farm can also be reached very easily on foot or by bicycle.

Family vacation: Whether with the whole family or just with the kids - family vacations offer a great opportunity to spend quality time together and create lasting memories.
We had a very nice short vacation with the family. Everything was available in the vacation rental, it is very cozy. We especially liked the sauna. Shopping facilities and restaurants are within walking distance. This accommodation is definitely recommended. We will gladly come back.

On our 4th visit to Usedom, we felt very comfortable in the Spengler holiday flat
Due to the central location, we could completely do without car trips. Restaurants and shops were in the immediate vicinity. The dune forest could be reached in 1 minute, the beach in 20 minutes. A walk to the nearest towns of Zinnowitz or Karlshagen takes less than half an hour. Or you can travel comfortably on the UBB, Usedomer Bäderbahn
Only the kitchen equipment could be a little more opulent in terms of utensils. The house dust allergy sufferer still has to vacuum a little under the furniture
All in all, this is one of the nicest and best apartments we have stayed in so far.
