This Luxury Alpine Chalet is a great destination all year round and the place to be for a holiday with family and friends. Great for skiing (Ski Amadé), hiking, climbing, mountain biking, golfing or just enjoying nature and the comfort of the chalet.
Built in 2022 and equipped with all modern conveniences and beautiful materials. The completely detached chalet radiates design everywhere. This is reflected in the combination of wood, steel and glass. The cozy and warm appearance, wooden doors with a height of 220 cm and subtle accents in the interior, as well as the use of the latest technologies and high-quality equipment and materials, make this chalet a top chalet!
FIRST FLOOR | LIVING AREA, KITCHEN & ENTRANCE
The first floor of the chalet is the floor where the main entrance is. This floor is fully furnished as a living space with a spacious sitting area and fireplace, kitchen with cooking island and utility room, and a spacious entrance/wardrobe with guest toilet. From the living room and kitchen you can reach the spacious south-facing terrace.

THE VILLAGE - Mühlbach am Hochkönig
The accessibility of the Höchkönig region and the village of Mühlbach in particular is excellent. Mühlbach is only 10 minutes from the motorway to Salzburg and the Bischofshofen train station (which is connected to the international train network). Salzburg Airport can be reached within 45 minutes.
The holiday chalet is located just at the top of the mountain in the village of Mühlbach am Hochkönig. The center can be reached on foot via a winding road in about 10 minutes. The city center can be reached in 2 minutes by car.
In the village itself there is a spacious SPAR supermarket. It is open on weekdays from 07:30 - 12:30 and from 14:30 - 18:00. On Saturdays, the supermarket is only open in the morning. The supermarket is closed on Sundays.
For a wider range of food, restaurants and other things, you can visit the town of Bischofshofen, which is about 15 minutes away by car. There you will find a BILLA Plus, SPAR, Lidl, Hofer, XXXLutz and OBI Markt.
In the center of the village there is a lovely bakery (open from 7 a.m.), an ATM and the local tourist office. Enjoy regional dishes and drinks in the restaurants located in the immediate vicinity of the holiday chalet. There are also takeaway options.
WINTER SEASON
Mühlbach am Hochkönig is part of the Hochkönig ski area. The ski area starts at Maria Alm and then runs all the way along the Hochkönig mountain massif to Mühlbach am Hochkönig.
The area has a diversity of blue, red and black ski slopes, but also snow and fun parks for children and very nice practice areas for real beginners.
The area is also known for the Königstour. This is a ski tour from Mühlbach to Maria Alm and back. Along the way you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Hochkönig and the Steinernen Meer.
The Hochkönig area is also known for its snow security in combination with the 3000 meter high Hochkönig mountain massif, making it often possible to ski well in December.
The nearest valley station is the Karbachalmbahn and it is about a 5 minute drive from the chalet. You can also take the free ski bus to the valley station in combination with your ski pass. The stop is 50 meters away, almost on the ground floor, from the chalet. The valley gondola is 1.4 km from the Chalet.
Higher up the mountain is the Hochkeil ski area, this area is very child-friendly and suitable for beginners. There are, among other things, very beautiful practice areas and a nice gastronomy.
You can buy the ski passes for the ski area in advance online at a discount or on site at the valley station. The rates take into account families with children.
In short, a real affordable and fun family destination where it never seems very busy on the slopes, even during the high season.
SUMMER SEASON
In summer as well as in winter, Mühlbach is an ideal starting point for your holiday. There are many opportunities in the immediate vicinity for mountain bikers, golfers, hikers, glacier skiers, paragliders, horse riders and nature lovers.
You will receive the Hochkönig Card upon arrival. With the Hochkönig Card, which you receive during your stay, you can use the summer lifts, the hiking bus, the swimming pools and museums in the Hochkönig region free of charge. More information about the Hochkönig Card can be found on the Hochkönig tourist website.

Luxurious location with a lot of comfort.
The Chalet is a beautiful house with lots of luxury and a fantastic view. The house offers plenty of comfort. How wonderful is it to relax in the sauna after a day of skiing. The house is located on a mountain in a quiet area. The nearest bus stop is a 2-minute walk away and you can reach the village within 10-15 minutes. Each bedroom has its own luxurious bathroom.
