THE HIGHLIGHTS OF THIS VACATION HOME:

This house was completely expanded, extended and restored in 2014. Emphasis was placed on preserving the old substance, which was mixed with modern materials. The result is a successful mix of styles that gives the cottage its charm
DISTRIBUTION:
The upper floor consists of a large, bright room, the central living area. In it there is a well-equipped modern kitchen, a dining table and a TV corner of a couch (on which one more person could sleep)
Adjacent to the living area is the upper terrace. From this floor you have a wonderful view over the olive groves to the sea and the cathedral of Porto Maurizio.
In the basement there is a spacious bathroom with shower and freestanding bathtub and two bedrooms with double bed - both with access to the garden.
OUTSIDE:
- The terrace on the upper floor is about 15 sqm, facing east and has a beautiful view over the valley and to the sea. At night you can see the lights of the old town of Porto Maurizio
- The garden of about 500 sqm is located directly in front of the ground floor. There you will find sun loungers and a trampoline for children
- Since the house is located directly on the street (in the morning and evening there is some traffic that you can hear when you are in the garden), it has a driveway that can be used for parking.

AS VILLAGE:
The house is located on the outskirts of Bellissimi - directly on the road that runs through the village (in the morning and evening you can hear the traffic a bit). The advantage: you can park directly in front of the house. Bellissimi is a pleasant and pretty village in the Valprino valley, surrounded by olive groves.
Directly from Bellissimi there are several hiking and mountain bike trails, for example to the Laghetti in Acquasanta (small bathing lakes in the river with almost tropical fauna) and to the region of Monte Faudos, where with luck you can meet a herd of wild horses.

Gallo House, stylish holiday home
We spent 1 week in March in the beautiful Casa Gallo. The booking process was very easy, and the key handover was extremely uncomplicated. The landlord, Mr. Hahn, comes by personally and shows the house while explaining everything necessary. (For example, we had to heat due to the season, which works very well with the pellet stove.) Everything is in top condition, the house is really lovingly designed and furnished, a wonderful mix of old and new with many little details that show how much love is invested here. Despite the cool temperatures, we enjoyed the terrace and the view towards Dolcedo, across the hills to the sea. The area is great; you can easily walk to Dolcedo. It is about 10 km to Imperia and the sea. We would book Casa Gallo again immediately!

Casa Gallo, an enchanting (holiday) home
In brilliant sunshine and wonderfully blue skies, we arrive in Bellisimi and are very excited and immediately impressed.
Although we are much too early, we can already move into the house, which immediately elicits an "ohhh wow!!" from all of us. We feel comfortable right away!
Everything is exactly as described in the pictures, but I actually find it even more impressive in person. I think it's also because of the whole atmosphere of the house.
The fixtures in the bathroom, the large shell on the mirror, the skylights in the bedrooms, the creative solution with the wardrobe (with the colorful knobs) under the stairs, the stone floor, and the maps on the wall in a window frame....the round window above the entrance door...etc...many details and successful solutions here invite you to feel good.
Everything you need is available without it feeling cluttered. Instead, it is harmonious, lovingly designed, and with a lot of passion.
The unobstructed view of the sea is priceless!
The pool is very refreshing and we used the grill almost every day.
Dolcedo, slightly below Bellisimi, offers beautiful places to linger and various shops. It is a very nice place!
Felix, the landlord, was always helpful, open, and likeable. We could contact him at any time if we had any questions.
We will come back and are already looking forward to it. Because it was a very inspiring, relaxing, successful, and enjoyable vacation.
