This cozy and stylish lovingly restored mansion is located in one of the most beautiful streets of Ferragudo, just a few steps from the market square. The entire house is very tastefully decorated in a special atmosphere. In total the house has -4- T0 apartments (studios) and -1- T1 apartment. The terrace area on the 1st floor is available to all guests of the house. The apartments can be rented separately or together
The studios have a dining area with a sitting area, kitchenette and a sleeping area, spacious bathroom with shower.
Apartment T1 also has a separate bedroom.
The house is held in the southern Riad style, with a beautiful courtyard, some sun loungers and romantic sitting areas. Especially in the warm summer evenings, the impression of an oasis is created.
The beach "Praia Grande" is only a few minutes walk away. Parking spaces are available nearby.
The object is quietly situated near the center of Ferragudo. It is very well furnished. The terraces are ideal for relaxing. To the beach "Praia Grande" one needs approx. 5 walking minutes, to the market place Ferragudos it is only few steps. Parking spaces are available nearby

Location and surroundings of object
The property is quietly located near the center of Ferragudo. It is very well furnished. They are ideal for relaxing and unwinding. The fishing village of Ferragudo is one of the most tranquil and inexpensive places in the Algarve. The maze of narrow streets and winding staircases gives a real, genuine impression of Portuguese mentality. In front of the whitewashed houses decorated with flowers, women often still wash their clothes, and at lunchtime sardines are grilled. In the "Aunt Emma shops" (mini-Mercados) the purchases are done. The people are always friendly and helpful
In the market hall you can buy fresh fish, seafood and fruit every day. For bulk shopping there is a Lidl supermarket at the entrance to the village. Especially worth seeing is the small church in the upper part of the village. You have a wide view over the harbour entrance of Portimão and the Atlantic Ocean. Here you will find no sterile concrete blocks or impersonal hotel complexes, but luxurious villas, houses, cozy apartments and excellent resorts
The market place is the meeting point for locals and visitors. There are cosy cafes, small pubs and bars with beer gardens, and young people are also well catered for here. Here you will also find the post office, a bank and a wide variety of restaurants, from typical Portuguese to international cuisine, but also pizzerias and chicken fryers. Every weekend in summer there is a Portuguese festival, reminiscent of a large family celebration, and the monthly flea market is also worthwhile

The beaches of Ferragudo
In the estuary of the Rio Arade stretches the extensive, fine-sand beach PRAIA GRANDE, which is separated from the open sea by the harbour breakwater. Further on you reach PRAIA DO MOLHE and PRAIA DA PINTADINHO. The most beautiful beach is the PRAIA DOS CANEIROS. There you will find the distinctive rocky coves that are so typical of this coast. All beaches have various beach bars. Not to forget the impressive cliff walks along the coast, which should be done preferably in the early morning.
In our service office on site you can get information about a wide range of events and leisure activities such as diving, golf, tennis, fishing, sailing, canoeing, big game fishing, various aqua parks, zoo, excursions to Lisbon and Seville, concerts, exhibitions etc.. We can arrange tickets on request.
