Welcome to our Frisian cottage in Seeth / North Frisia
The historic thatched-roof house stands alone, framed by a large garden with a terrace and surrounded by old trees, quietly located on the outskirts of the village.
On the ground floor, the house features a spacious living-dining area with a wood-burning stove and sofa corner, a modern, fully equipped kitchen with an additional dining area, and a modern bathroom with shower/toilet and washing machine/dryer. Upstairs there are two spacious bedrooms and another bathroom with shower/WC. In the first bedroom there is a large double bed and a baby bed, in the second bedroom there is also a large double bed (consisting of two joined single beds, which can be separated if desired) and an optional sofa bed.
A patio door leads from the living room directly into the garden; the sunny seating area is sheltered from the wind by landscaped hedges. For children, we have prepared a playhouse with a swing, slide, and sandbox on the spacious play lawn.
Parking spaces are available on the property, and there is also a lockable bicycle shed for your own bikes.
A free Wi-Fi connection and a smart TV in the living room are at your disposal.

Seeth is located in the Stapelholm landscape, which is framed by the rivers Eider, Treene and Sorge. Seeth is an ideal starting point for all kinds of leisure activities and a paradise for nature lovers, anglers, water sports enthusiasts, cyclists, hikers and much more. If you are looking for relaxation and tranquillity, you will get your money's worth here.
Surroundings and excursions
The Dutch town of Friedrichstadt is only 4 kilometres away. It is one of five town monuments in Schleswig-Holstein. Friedrichstadt is an urban gem and a must for every visitor to Schleswig-Holstein. Whether small or large, only those who have travelled by boat through the canals get an impression of "Little Amsterdam"
About 20 km away are Husum and Tönning, harbour towns with a special flair, lots of history, lively weekly markets and good gastronomy.
The North Sea with its peninsulas (Eiderstedt, Nordstrand) and the Halligen is also directly in the neighbourhood and the Wadden Sea National Park includes the entire coastal area here. (Information on the National Park is available at the Multimar Wattforum in Tönning). To the north, the Danish border is about 70 km away, and excursions to the Römö peninsula and the old Lögumkloster monastery near Tönder are well worthwhile.
Towards the Baltic Sea, Schleswig, the old ducal town with the interesting collections of Gottdorf Castle, is only 35 km away. The Baltic Sea with picturesque Kappeln and Arnis at the mouth of the Schleim estuary about 80 km.
The very well developed network of cycle paths is ideal for bicycle tours (also in connection with the train from Friedrichstadt).

Again and again, thank you and hurray!
For the third time, the enchanting Friesenkate hosted us (two people and two dogs). We sincerely thank the lovely hosts. For us, as for many others, this house is a true temporary home. Arriving and the deceleration begins. Now the bathroom has been completely renovated - huge, spacious, walk-in shower, along with the luxury of underfloor heating. The heating overall is brand new with a heat pump and ensures a perfect feel-good temperature. The surroundings with deer, rabbits, pheasants on all the paths in the village, the friendly people, the wonderful old Frisian houses - we would like to spend many more vacations here. THANK YOU.

Simply beautiful
We really enjoyed our vacation. The Friesenkate is exactly what we had imagined. The house is equipped with all the amenities that make household life easier. The decor fits exactly with what we had envisioned. Not everything is ultra-modern, but it is clean, cozy, and fitting ? ? ? (besides, you can see in advance from the pictures what you want to book and whether it suits you ?). One has heavenly peace all around, and we have wonderful and kind landlords here who try with heart to make everything possible (for us, it was a request for an earlier arrival).
We also found games and writing utensils, which is not always a given. There is also enough informational material for nice excursions available. All information about the house, contact details of the caretaker and landlords have been communicated in advance, in case there are any problems. Thus, one feels completely secure as a tenant when one needs a contact person.
The garden is beautifully maintained and invites you to linger thanks to a terrace with a view of the greenery.
All shopping options are within 5 km in Friedrichstadt, and one could even go shopping on Sundays (for those who need it; because Aldi, Lidl, etc. are actually open). So everything for a great relaxing vacation is available, and we have found our regular vacation destination here and are already looking forward to the next vacation.

Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen
Das Haus ist mit allen Annehmlichkeiten, die das Leben im Haushalt einfacher machen, ausgestattet. Die Einrichtung passt genau zu dem, wie wir es uns vorgestellt hatten. Nicht alles topmodern, aber sauber, gemütlich und passend ??? (außerdem sieht man ja anhand der Bilder im voraus, was man buchen möchte und ob es zu einem passt ?).
Man hat himmlische Ruhe rundum und wir haben hier wunderbare und liebe Vermieter erwischt, die mit Herz versuchen, alles machbar zu machen (bei uns war es ein Wunsch nach früherer Anreise).
Wir wurden auch fündig mit Spielen und Schreibutensilien, was auch nicht immer selbstverständlich ist. Auch genügend Infomaterial für schöne Ausflüge sind vorhanden.
Sämtliche Informationen zum Haus, Daten von Hausmeister und Vermietern sind vorab mitgeteilt worden, falls es irgendwelche Probleme geben sollte.
Somit fühlt man sich auch als Mieter rundum sicher, wenn man einen Ansprechpartner brauchen sollte.
Der Garten ist herrlich gepflegt und lädt Dank einer Terrasse mit Blick ins Grüne zum verweilen ein.
Man hat sämtliche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in 5km Entfernung in Friedrichstadt und könnte sogar sonntags einkaufen gehen (wer's braucht; denn Aldi, Lidl etc haben tatsächlich geöffnet).
Also alles für einen tollen entspannten Urlaub ist vorhanden und wir haben hier unser StammUrlaubsZiel gefunden und freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Urlaub.

Es liegt super schön gelegen in der Natur.
Von hier aus kann man tolle Tages Ausflüge nach Husum, Büsum oder SPO machen.
Wir konnten aber auch wunderbar in den großen Garten entspannen.

Die Ausstattung ist großzügig ,sodass für jede Gelegenheit das Richtige da ist.
Die Räume sind großzügig und gut möbliert, die Terrasse lädt zum verweilen ein.
Es liegt sehr ruhig ,das hat uns sehr begeistert, keine Straßengeräusche.
wir waren das erste Mal in Nordfriesland und haben uns in Ihrer Friesenkate sehr wohl und sehr frei gefühlt.
Die Bäckerei ist fußläufig zu erreichen - Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind einmal um die Ecke und alle sind sehr freundlich. Das Fährhaus in Schwabstedt bietet tolle Küche, sehr freundlichen Service und einen sehr schönen Blick auf die Treene. Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter und waren in der Treene schwimmen. Friedrichstadt ist ebenfalls sehr nah und sehr, sehr hübsch. Husum ist auch nicht weit.

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir hatten alles was nötig war. Es war alles sauber und mit viel Liebe dekoriert.
Auch unsere zwei Vierbeiner hatten viel Spaß. Das Grundstück bot viel Platz zum Erkunden und Spielen.
Die Ausflüge in die Moorlandschaft waren ein besonderes Highlight.
Leider ging die Zeit viel zu schnell vorbei.
Das Haus selbst ist mit allem, was man benötigt ausgestattet und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Es ist gemütlich und bequem eingerichtet, sodass man gerne auch einfach nur "zu Hause" ist, lecker kocht und Tee genießt.
Selbst an den Weihnachtstagen war der Hausmeister sofort erreichbar und sogar kurz vor Ort. Hier ist man in jedem Moment gut versorgt und braucht sich über nichts Gedanken machen.
Am Anreisetag war das Haus schwierig zu finden, da es etwas versteckt liegt und es keinen GPS- und Handyempfang im und um das Haus herum gibt.
Wir haben die 14 Tage sehr genossen und können es jedem weiterempfehlen.

Die zwei Duschbäder waren für uns sehr gut ,da es so zu keinem morgentlichen Stau kam.
Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr ruhig , es liegt mitten in einer Wohnsiedlung mit Einfamilienhäusern.
Ferienhaus ist zu empfehlen. Preis ist gut und günstig.
Alles ist so liebevoll eingerichtet,
Richtig gut fanden wir,daß ausreichend Geschirr vorhanden war,so daß man den Geschirrspüler nutzen
konnte.Wir liebten es die Gegend mit dem Rad zu erkunden,baden in der Eider war möglich.
Aber auch das Auto ist nötig,um an die Küste zu gelangen.
Das Haus blitzte vor Sauberkeit,alles ist bestens organisiert,Schlüssel,Adresse...usw.
