Welcome to our Friesenkate in Seeth / Nordfriesland
The historic thatched house is detached, framed by a large garden with terrace and surrounded by old trees, quietly situated on the outskirts of the village.
On the ground floor, the house has a spacious living/dining area with wood-burning stove and sofa corner, a modern, fully equipped kitchen with additional dining area and a bathroom with shower/WC and washing machine/dryer. Upstairs are two spacious bedrooms and another bathroom with shower/WC. In the first bedroom there is a large double bed and a baby cot, in the second bedroom there is also a large double bed (consisting of two single beds joined together, separable if necessary) and an optional sofa bed.
From the living room a patio door leads directly into the garden, the sunny seating area is protected from the wind by hedges. For children we have prepared a swing and a sandbox on the spacious playground.
Car parking spaces are available on the property, as well as a lockable bicycle shed for the bikes you have brought with you. We also have several bicycles (older, simple models) for your free use on site.
A free Wi-Fi connection and a Smart TV in the living room are at your disposal.

Location and surroundings of object
Seeth is located in the Stapelholm landscape, which is framed by the rivers Eider, Treene and Sorge. Seeth is an ideal starting point for all kinds of leisure activities and a paradise for nature lovers, anglers, water sports enthusiasts, cyclists, hikers and much more. If you are looking for relaxation and tranquillity, you will get your money's worth here.
Surroundings and excursions
The Dutch town of Friedrichstadt is only 4 kilometres away. It is one of five town monuments in Schleswig-Holstein. Friedrichstadt is an urban gem and a must for every visitor to Schleswig-Holstein. Whether small or large, only those who have travelled by boat through the canals get an impression of "Little Amsterdam"
About 20 km away are Husum and Tönning, harbour towns with a special flair, lots of history, lively weekly markets and good gastronomy.
The North Sea with its peninsulas (Eiderstedt, Nordstrand) and the Halligen is also directly in the neighbourhood and the Wadden Sea National Park includes the entire coastal area here. (Information on the National Park is available at the Multimar Wattforum in Tönning). To the north, the Danish border is about 70 km away, and excursions to the Römö peninsula and the old Lögumkloster monastery near Tönder are well worthwhile.
Towards the Baltic Sea, Schleswig, the old ducal town with the interesting collections of Gottdorf Castle, is only 35 km away. The Baltic Sea with picturesque Kappeln and Arnis at the mouth of the Schleim estuary about 80 km.
The very well developed network of cycle paths is ideal for bicycle tours (also in connection with the train from Friedrichstadt).

Adorable little old Frisian cottage. Detached house with a beautiful garden, surrounded by wonderful nature. The house is equipped with everything and very clean and comfortable. We really felt comfortable there and would love to come back sometime. Thank you very much to the Sandner family!

Completely satisfied
We were completely satisfied. The house has a great location, with lots of nature. The amenities are generous, so there is something for every occasion. The rooms are spacious and well furnished, the terrace invites you to linger. It is very quiet, which we found very inspiring, no street noises.

Holidays in Schleswig-Holstein
Dear family Sandner,
we were in North Friesland for the first time and felt very comfortable and very free in your Friesenkate.
The bakery is within walking distance - shopping facilities are once around the corner and everyone is very friendly. The Fährhaus in Schwabstedt offers great cuisine, very friendly service and a very nice view of the Treene. We were lucky with the weather and went swimming in the Treene. Friedrichstadt is also very close and very, very pretty. Husum is also not far away.

Easter in Seeth
We had a wonderful holiday in Seeth.
The holiday home is very well equipped. We had everything we needed. Everything was clean and decorated with love.
Our two four-legged friends also had a lot of fun. The property offered plenty of space to explore and play.
The trips to the moorland were a special highlight.
Unfortunately, the time went by far too quickly.

Holiday under thatch
Heavenly peace and quiet, no traffic/noise and the bakery is only a few minutes' walk away in the morning. Cycle paths invite you to cycle and the bathing area in Drage on the Eider is also quickly reached.

Absolut zu empfehlen!
Wer die Ruhe mag und eine Auszeit braucht, ist hier genau richtig. Die Lage ist für schöne Spaziergänge optimal und Friedrichstadt ist zum Einkaufen schnell erreicht. Vom Esstisch aus konnten wir Eichhörnchen und verschiedenste Vögel beobachten und abends wenn es dunkel war, das Haus mit dem Ofen herrlich heizen.
Das Haus selbst ist mit allem, was man benötigt ausgestattet und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Es ist gemütlich und bequem eingerichtet, sodass man gerne auch einfach nur "zu Hause" ist, lecker kocht und Tee genießt.
Selbst an den Weihnachtstagen war der Hausmeister sofort erreichbar und sogar kurz vor Ort. Hier ist man in jedem Moment gut versorgt und braucht sich über nichts Gedanken machen.
Am Anreisetag war das Haus schwierig zu finden, da es etwas versteckt liegt und es keinen GPS- und Handyempfang im und um das Haus herum gibt.
Wir haben die 14 Tage sehr genossen und können es jedem weiterempfehlen.

Quiet house
The house is located in a cul-de-sac as the last house. You will find absolute tranquillity here. The large property invites you to linger. A fireplace with firewood is available for cooler evenings. We felt very comfortable

Beautiful family-friendly thatched house with large garden
An ideal house for families with good, somewhat outdated furnishings. The wood-burning stove was ideal for chilly evenings.
The two shower bathrooms were very good for us, as there was no morning traffic jam.
The location of the house is very quiet, it is in the middle of a housing estate with detached houses.

Schönes Ferienhaus
Ein schönes und günstiges Ferienhaus. Es ist mit allem ausgestattet was für einen Urlaub wichtig ist. Auch für Familien mit Kindern. Innen könnte das Ferienhaus etwas moderner aufgepeppt werden. Die Gartenmöbel sind ok, Fahrräder leider nicht.
Ferienhaus ist zu empfehlen. Preis ist gut und günstig.

Zuhause sein
Wir haben uns sofort wie zuhause gefühlt.
Alles ist so liebevoll eingerichtet,
Richtig gut fanden wir,daß ausreichend Geschirr vorhanden war,so daß man den Geschirrspüler nutzen
konnte.Wir liebten es die Gegend mit dem Rad zu erkunden,baden in der Eider war möglich.
Aber auch das Auto ist nötig,um an die Küste zu gelangen.
Das Haus blitzte vor Sauberkeit,alles ist bestens organisiert,Schlüssel,Adresse...usw.
