With 300 m² of living space, this thatched house offers room for up to 16 guests in six comfortable bedrooms and four modern bathrooms – ideal for families or groups who want to relax together. The expansive garden invites you to play and linger, and a private play tower with a slide provides fun for the little ones. The sunny terrace with barbecue is perfect for sociable barbecue evenings, while two fireplaces in the living room and in the large barn create an especially cozy atmosphere on cooler days.

The lovingly restored thatched cottage from 1860 is considered one of the most beautiful buildings in the western part of the village of Süderstapel, whose appearance is shaped by an ensemble of thatched historic buildings. On a spacious 300 square meters of living space spread over floors, this holiday home offers plenty of freedom for your family or group of friends – in the garden, 1,200 square meters of lawn and terrace area invite you to play and relax. Parking spaces for three to four vehicles are available next to and in front of the house. Holiday home for up to 16 people:
Due to its exceptional spaciousness, the Eider Cottage offers the ideal setting for a long weekend with friends, a team event, or a holiday with the extended family for up to 16 people.
The centerpiece of the ground floor is the spacious hall with a large dining area for up to 12 people (expandable to up to 16) and a fireplace. The adjoining kitchen (Siematic) is, of course, fully equipped. On colder days, a wood-burning stove provides cozy warmth in the living area. Three bedrooms offer space for a total of 6 people, and in the living room a spacious sofa bed is available for two additional guests. A full bathroom with old English bathtub and underfloor heating adjoins the master bedroom but is also accessible separately. Another shower room is located next to the bedroom in the old stable. The area on the upper floor impresses with a 60 square meter combined living-dining area with an open, fully equipped kitchen, a view of the Eider, and up to 6 meters of ceiling height. Here you will also find a sofa bed (1.4 x 2m), a TV/music corner, and a large table for up to 12 people. In the rear sleeping area are the master bedroom with a 2-meter-wide double bed, a children's room with sleeping accommodations for two to three adults and a small child (crib), as well as two bathrooms. One is equipped with a large corner bathtub, the other with a rain shower. As a cozy sleeping area for the young at heart and for youths, the 'Jungbullenzimmer' on the mezzanine offers a total of 5 sleeping places: on a futon bed (1.80 x 2.00 meters) as well as on three additional single beds (0.8 x 2 meters).

The climatic health resort Süderstapel has around 1,000 inhabitants and is located directly on the Eider in Schleswig-Holstein, about 18 km southeast of Husum and 9 km from the Dutch town of Friedrichstadt. Süderstapel lies at the southernmost edge of the Stapelholm geest ridge. In the beautiful Eider-Treene-Sorge natural/river landscape, one can take extensive cycling and boating tours. Special highlight: Süderstapel has its own river swimming area with a small sandy beach and playground directly on the Eider.
