Dreamlike peace and living under thatched roof

Unfortunately, our beautiful days in this enchanting vacation apartment are already over. We found the apartment clean and excellently equipped, so we felt very comfortable from the first moment. The highlights include tasteful, stylish furnishings as well as a beautiful, well-maintained garden and carport, which we are thankful to be able to use. We even had it all to ourselves. The terrace allows you to enjoy fresh air at any time - also a real bonus.
We would like to emphasize the absolute tranquility, which we fully enjoyed. We haven't slept as well as we did here in Süderstapel for a long time.
Overall, this cozy thatched-roof apartment is a gem among vacation rentals and we are sure to spend our vacation there again someday.
Many thanks to the landlords for this idyll in the countryside. We would like to mention that the communication was always very friendly - that also speaks highly of this vacation apartment. We hope to meet you in person next time.

I had a great time here and was able to "let my soul dangle."
The accommodation is lovingly furnished and offers everything you need. When the sun is shining, you can have breakfast outside with a view of a beautiful large garden.
The landlord and landlady are very friendly and completely committed to ensuring that their guests feel comfortable in the accommodation. They are available for questions and also provide great tips for exploring the surroundings (currently, for example, NordArt, Sankt Peter, Friedrichstadt, and many bike trips along the Eider...).

A cozy accommodation in a lovingly restored captain's house - tasteful furnishings - very friendly and helpful hosts with excellent tips for activities - great location between the North Sea, Baltic Sea, and Danish border. We enjoyed our stay very much!

A really beautiful apartment!
We felt very comfortable and didn't miss anything.
The contact was exemplary and very sympathetic.

The location is sensational if you want to explore the North to both seas.

The place is very quiet and after a few minutes you are at the Eider and in the bird sanctuary. On the first evening, without knowing the place, I was able to observe rabbits and the rutting roebuck. Countless bird species await you.
A trip to the nearby stork village Bergenhusen is an experience. Having three, four or more storks nesting in sight at the same time is something special.

We only missed a good restaurant within walking distance.

For those who like fishing, there are good spots within a 5-minute walk. I also saw a disabled-friendly fishing spot.

It was a really nice week.

The grocery shop is within 5 minutes walking distance

Super Basiscamp

The apartment is strategically located for day trips. The village itself is quiet (hence the one point deduction), but you can reach Friedrichstadt in about 10 minutes. The North Sea and Baltic Sea are easily accessible. Husum, St. Peter Ording, Tönning, Hamburger Hallig on the North Sea side, Eckernförde on the Baltic Sea side were our destinations. The host Mr. Spier has excellent recommendations. The apartment itself has everything you need, including a washing machine and dryer. Terrace is beautiful and invites relaxation. The house is restored with great care and attention to detail. A parking spot in the double carport is available to the guests. We had a great week there with the best weather. Recommendation! Thumbs up!

A perfect vacation!

If you love peace and want to enjoy a few beautiful vacation days undisturbed, this is the perfect place. The landlords welcomed us very warmly and immediately provided us with many valuable excursion tips. The apartment is lovingly designed and invites you to feel good. You could enjoy your morning very comfortably and undisturbed on the great terrace and the adjacent green meadow. If you like hustle and bustle, you can quickly reach all the surrounding cities as well as the North and Baltic Sea. For us, it was a perfectly successful (biking) vacation!

Eine wunderschöne kleine Wohnung

The apartment is magical, it is clean, has an excellent size for couples, but also for 3 people. Living there is certainly great. The equipment was more abundant than expected, really everything you need is there. The garden and the terrace are also well maintained, one cannot avoid enjoying a nice evening outside with a glass of wine. You can easily get anywhere, in Sankt Peter Ording it takes 40 minutes if there is no traffic, but everything else is easily reachable by bike. Altogether, we are thrilled and would love to come back!

Erholung pur

In this beautiful, spacious, well-furnished, and well-equipped holiday apartment, we spent our 14-day summer vacation for two. We felt very comfortable in the apartment and the quiet surroundings. The garden and terrace are very inviting, allowing for enjoyable hours spent there. However, the landscape beckons with beautiful cycling tours along the Eider and Treene rivers, through the moors, and across the open fields. The bike paths are well signposted, and with a map, you can quickly find your way. The bathing spot on the Eider River in Süderstapel (with a shower) invites you to swim.

Friedrichstadt is easily accessible by bike and always worth a visit. What you can't find at the local supermarket in Süderstapel, you can buy in Friedrichstadt.

Excursions by car are easily possible in the direction of the Baltic Sea (Schleswig (Holm, Haithabu, ...) ), Eckernförde) as well as in the direction of the North Sea (Husum, Tönnig (Multimare), . . . ). It was especially beautiful to take the train from Friedrichstadt to Keitum on Sylt and rent bikes there to explore the island by bike. Swimming in the North Sea was not only beautiful on Sylt. A trip to the Hamburger Hallig for swimming was also a great experience. There is still a lot left for us to discover, so we firmly believe that this was not our last vacation in Süderstapel with the friendly Spier family, who always gave us great tips during our vacation.

Living in a dream of a house!!!

We were allowed to spend our holidays in a dreamlike house, which was restored with a lot of love and tastefully furnished! It was harmonious all around! We got to know the very nice house owners, who gave us lots of good tips on restaurants and things to do. We felt very comfortable, nothing was missing. Süderstapel is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet, but is still a very good starting point for excursions from the North Sea to the Baltic Sea. It is simply very centrally located and you still have absolute peace and quiet. If the weather is as good as it was during our stay, everything is just perfect. We'll be back any time!

Entschleunigen und Entspannen in Süderstapel

A completely successful holiday in Süderstapel, to which the beautiful holiday apartment of the Spier family also contributed. Equipped with everything you need for a successful holiday, we were also impressed by the very tasteful furnishings. When we returned from extensive walks and excursions, it felt like coming home. We made extensive use of the lovely terrace and were provided with interesting information about the country and its people by Mr. Spier. We will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful time in this truly beautifully furnished holiday apartment. The landlords and the lady in charge of the apartment on site welcomed us very warmly. Vacation for relaxation!

It was a wonderful holiday in Süderstapel in a super beautiful and bright holiday apartment. The hosts welcomed us very nicely and gave great tips for day trips. Sankt Peter Ording, Husum, and Eckernförde are easily accessible by car for relaxing days at the beach. A bike tour to Friedrichstadt along the dikes is also highly recommended. The apartment is equipped with a modern kitchen and very cozy furnishings, so we felt very comfortable during our stay. Especially in nice weather, the evenings on the terrace were a highlight.
Overall, it was a great holiday and the apartment is highly recommended!

The vacation rental was lovingly furnished and very comfortable. Everything was there to cook or to enjoy a glass of wine outside on the cozy terrace. Süderstapel is a good starting point for excursions in Schleswig Holstein, for example Friedrichstadt, Husum, or Sankt Peter Ording. However, you can also get everything you need in Süderstapel at the nearby small supermarket. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Overall, we can highly recommend the holiday apartment!
