Description

The open kitchen invites communal cooking and sociable enjoyment of drinks at the bar counter. In the living room, there is a large couch area (extendable) for cozy gatherings, reading with reading lamps, or smart TV for time-shifted television/media library with warmly lit wall units. Fast Wi-Fi is available everywhere. A separate side table allows for game sessions without having to use the coffee table: the chessboard and games are ready. For making music together, you can use the in-house keyboard, the guitar, and bongos. At the large dining table, 10 guests can sit comfortably, and it can easily be set for 12 as well.

The large holiday home on the "Loshardt" is the first house on the slope and therefore offers a beautiful view. It is close to the centre of the village as well as to the hiking and forest paths.

There are staggered booking prices:
When booking one of the two bedrooms 1 'Quelle' and 2 'Buche' on the ground floor as a single room for adults, there is a surcharge per room and night of 10€ each.
For an extended booking of the upper floor in single bedroom 3 'Sunrise' for a possible extra person in bedroom 'Sunrise' per night in low season 20€, in high season 30€.
In the double bedroom 4 'Sunset' a single supplement of 10€ is due.
The converted attic is only suitable for motor-skilled people who can assess the danger of a possible misstep because of the alternating steps. An overnight stay in bedroom 5 'Stork's Nest' costs 35€ (single supplement 10€) in low season and 45€ (single supplement 10€) in high season. In the 'Lichtung' (sleeping place 6) you have to pay 30€ (single use plus 10€) in low season, 40€ (single use plus 10€) in high season.

For all children (0 and 18 years) we do not charge a single supplement.
Children from 0-4 years pay 10€/night.
Children from 5-12 years pay 20€/night.
Children from 13-18 years pay 25€/night.
Important: The automatic booking calculator does not take into account the reductions for the rooms on the upper floor and top floor and not the prices for single room use or for children. I will then calculate these according to your details.

Additional guests may only be received by prior arrangement with us. No sprawling parties or events may be held.

Holiday home that leaves nothing to be desired.

We spent a lovely weekend in the holiday home.
It was perfect all around: It is spacious and in a very good location. We have never rented a holiday home that is so generously furnished; it really leaves nothing to be desired. We can only recommend it and will definitely come back again.

Oasis of well-being

We had a nice vacation in a well-equipped holiday home. We lacked nothing. It was perfect for us with a dog and a child.
The location is not too central but also not too remote. You can quickly reach the supermarket or enjoy a nice, extended walk in the woods.

The communication was very friendly and informative from start to finish. Questions were also answered quickly. The information and the checklist we received before our arrival were very helpful. The house is cozy and furnished with a lot of love. Everything was very clean. You could tell that it is more than just a holiday home that is rented out. We found the open living/kitchen and dining area very nice. Perfect for spending cozy time together with several people. Our daughter loved running around there. The view from the terrace is also a dream. You don't notice anything from the vocational college next to or behind the house. It doesn't disturb or influence the stay in any way. It is definitely worth booking again for a longer period.

Spacious and pleasant house

We are a philosophy group of 5 men and were in this house for our annual trip. It is a beautiful and well-equipped house with many bedrooms. This is nice if you want privacy. The living room with open kitchen is also pleasantly spacious where you can have breakfast together and relax. We enjoyed our stay!

Pleasant, spacious house - strategically located

We were here with 9 people. The house has a nice terrace and view over the valley. Nice spacious living room. Strategically located in the Eifel, large supermarket nearby. The contact with the owner was good - very helpful. Great!

Everything we could wish for with our family of 9 people was present and even more at Kathrin's Eifelblick.

The beautiful location, the comfort, and the stunning surroundings did their part.

The tips regarding sights and hiking opportunities were also worthwhile.

Furthermore, the recommended restaurant in Schloss Schleiden was truly excellent. Thank you for that.

The boat trip on the Urftsee made our weekend a success. Worthwhile! If our deposit is refunded on time, it was perfect. Highly recommended.

Beautiful holiday home

We spent a long weekend in the very well-maintained and great holiday home. It has everything you need. Unfortunately, it was very windy the whole weekend and we couldn't use the fire bowl. But for sure next time. We will definitely come back and can only recommend it positively. Also, the contact with Mrs. Wollenweber was very nice.

Deeply relaxed

My friend from Aachen and I had a much too short but very relaxing holiday in "Kathrins Eifelblick"
Unfortunately, the weather was cooler than desired, but that didn't detract from our cosy evenings on the terrace, wrapped in the house's own blankets. We sat by the fire bowl, had lots to talk about and enjoyed the view of the starry night. I have never seen so many stars in Hamburg!
The house is incredibly inviting and equipped with everything you could want for a pampering holiday. There is a fully automatic coffee machine, various TVs (but we preferred to sit outside on the large terrace), and an outdoor sauna in the barrel, which is not visible from anywhere. We slept in the "Quelle" room on a very comfortable box spring bed.
As something like this is important to me: the rooms can be completely darkened for the night!
The house is very well maintained and clean, and everything was as uncomplicated with the booking as you could wish for.
The Eifel is wonderful for hiking directly from the front door of the holiday home, but in bad weather the nearby big cities are also tempting. "Kathrin's Eifelblick" is ideally situated between walking distance to the train station and nature with countless hiking possibilities, even for people with limited mobility.
Definitely recommended for reunions of friends and family, simply because a lot of people can fit comfortably here.

Relaxing days in the Eifel

Thank you for three relaxing days in the Eifel in the beautiful town of Kall in Kathrin's house. The train journey from Cologne to Kall was already a great experience. Without driving a car, relaxation begins as soon as you board the train. In the well-equipped holiday home, we were able to enjoy the sun in the Eifel with friends in a family atmosphere. The house is large enough to have privacy while also having the option to cook, eat, and play together in the living area. During hikes to great destinations like the Steinfeld Abbey with its Klosterschenke, we were able to enjoy the Eifel. Afterwards, we could relax in the house's own sauna with Kathrin's Eifel view. Perfect!

Cosy turn of the year in the Eifelblick

A huge thank you from all of us to Mrs Wollenweber for the great time in Kall and the smooth running! Eight of us spent the turn of the year in the Eifelblick and had the Sunrise and Sunset rooms as well as the Stork's Nest and the Clearing under the roof
Both the ground floor and the first floor have a fully equipped kitchen and there are several bathrooms. Thus, despite the Quelle and Buche rooms already being rented out to a family, a safe and corona-compliant stay was possible. There is enough space!
The holiday home is the perfect starting point for tours (especially hiking, cycling and mountain biking) in the surrounding area without having to get into the car first. The proximity to the train station and supermarket even makes a completely car-free holiday possible! We are definitely planning to come back and are really looking forward to the sauna, which is now available :-)

Simply relax - no matter the weather.

With five girlfriends, we treated ourselves to a relaxation weekend at "Katrins Eifelblick." We came from different corners of Germany, which was smoothly possible thanks to the direct train connection from Cologne main station. We were lucky with the weather for a few hours, which we promptly took advantage of to go on a nice hike along the trails of Roman aqueducts. The "Eifelschleifen" hiking routes start right around the corner, wonderful! A small reward drink on the sun terrace was still possible just as it started to rain. In the extremely spacious living room, we made ourselves comfortable with board games (a few are even available in the house!) and later, we took out the guitar. Actually, we were pretty loud in the downstairs living room, but one of our friends, who went to bed earlier, reported the next morning that she didn't hear anything from the upper floor - truly remarkable. So, for us, this was the ideal accommodation. We noticed that a sauna is now installed - we will gladly come back in the autumn! We are looking forward to it!

Great sun terrace

I spent a birthday hiking weekend with friends and family in the house and it was simply perfect. You can start hiking directly from the house, you are in the forest after 5 minutes, find varied routes, and can wonderfully relax in the spacious yet cozy house, cook together, play together…
