Dreamlike, idyllic location in a green holiday resort in Nerja on the Costa del Sol. San Juan de Capistrano is terraced like a typical Andalusian village, nestled on the hills above the picturesque centre of Nerja. It is built against the cliffs of the natural park. There is a fantastic panoramic sea view from everywhere in the complex.
Important notice:
Our holiday properties as well as the San Juan de Capistrano complex are not located on the motorway! It only looks that way in many map programmes because the motorway runs deep down in the tunnel behind it - deep in the mountain. Map programmes often show this as a normal motorway instead of a tunnel.
- Your holiday home 'Paraiso de Capistrano':
The modern, terraced holiday home is situated in the garden complex of San Juan de Capistrano in Nerja, not far from the beautiful Burriana beach (approx. 1800 m away, public shuttle bus to the beach approx. 90 m away).
Here you will find 2 levels on one property. Upstairs a stylish floor for 4 persons (if required independent from the ground floor as far as the supply is concerned) and downstairs a very modern studio holiday flat - bright and equipped with everything and if required also independent from upstairs.
Here too, as upstairs, air conditioning, double bed and private bathroom. With fully fitted kitchen downstairs (dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob, microwave etc.). The fridge is in the adjoining utility room with door - for peace and quiet at night. Here you will also find the large wardrobe.
So if you want to take a couple of friends or the grandparents with you, this is ideal. Or you would like to treat yourself to a little more space and independence as a couple. Both levels are completely independent of each other in terms of kitchen and bathroom, etc., but you live inexpensively and close together on one property.
The level on the 1st floor offers a large sunny south-facing terrace with sea view, floor-to-ceiling windows, 2 bedrooms each with a wardrobe, 2 TVs with all German channels, Netflix, free internet with flat/WLAN in the flat, 2 air conditioners, safe and a high-quality modern and fully equipped kitchen. On the lower terrace you will find an electric barbecue.
The studio downstairs (approx. 38 m²) on the ground floor is, as mentioned, completely independent if required and offers similar equipment. Air conditioning, dishwasher, WLan, Netflix for free, Spotify etc. However, only the entire house is rented out, neither level alone.
This picturesque, green and flowery complex has one of the most beautiful pool areas in the region with large swimming area, rock island/waterfalls, large sunbathing areas, separate baby pool etc. You can't hear the lake-like beautiful pool oasis, but it's only about 80 m away, as is the complex's small supermarket (open Easter to the end of October).
Paraiso de Capistrano - Hibiscos 2 is just as suitable for those interested in culture as it is for a beach holiday and family holiday (also with baby) in the sun. Sports enthusiasts will also find numerous offers in Nerja.
Senior citizens and comfort-seekers will be delighted with the easy access with only 10 steps to the upper flat and, of course, also to the ground floor. On separate request, there is even access upstairs without stairs via the back bedroom (the complex is built on terraces. The flat is (almost) handicapped accessible, everything is easy to reach, doors are extra wide etc.
Below the 16 m² south-facing terrace there is the further terrace in front of the studio level (a patio) of 15 m² - with garden shower (hot water) and garden hose, which is a great advantage especially after visiting the beach. Here you will find the short staircase connecting downstairs and upstairs. Upstairs there is another rear entrance at ground level. The house is, after all, built on terraces, with a step-free walkway around the outside between the two levels. So this property is also suitable for flexible wheelchair users who do not insist on complete compliance with the standards.
The upper terrace is designed so that no one can see you from the outside, so nudism and toplessness is not an issue.
There are a total of 2 terraces available for the holiday property, one facing south, the other is a patio in front of the studio on the ground floor, also facing south.
Mediterranean planting in this corner of the complex with pines, cypresses, rubber trees, etc. Situated above an avenue of palm trees.
2 sun loungers upstairs, 2 folding ones downstairs in the patio cupboard. Patio furniture for 6, semi-covered terrace upstairs (good for smokers as our properties are all non-smoking holiday homes. The house is 3 minutes by car from Nerja centre and its old town.

Location and surroundings of object
San Juan de Capistrano is one of the most beautiful complexes in and around Nerja.
Situated at the top of all the complexes, you will find the most spectacular view in the area of the vast Mediterranean Sea. Despite the fantastic panoramic view due to its location in the first hills behind the centre of Nerja, it is only about 3 minutes by car to the beach and about 5 minutes to the lively centre and the old town.
In the centre of Nerja you will find (besides the bars and restaurants in the resort San Juan de Capistrano) many other good restaurants and bars, many nice little shops to stroll around, alleys with quaint tapa bars and much more you could wish for on holiday. Nerja is a jewel among the seaside resorts on the Costa del Sol.
Situated on the border to the Costa Tropical and blessed with the best climate in Europe, the town has retained its originality despite the good infrastructure.
A beautiful historic old town with pedestrian zones, the famous Balcon de Europa and the 5 beautiful beaches make Nerja an ideal holiday destination.
The range of sports on offer in Nerja is very varied. From water sports to 3 fitness centres to horse riding and tennis courts.
4 large supermarkets offer a wide range of groceries in all price levels. There are also two very large modern and reasonably priced supermarkets.
Among the beautiful beaches of Nerja, the long Burriana beach, which can be reached in about 3 minutes by car from our complex, is particularly outstanding. Here you can lie with your towel for free or rent a sunbed and umbrella for a very reasonable price. Beach showers, toilets, bars and restaurants as well as numerous shops are available.
10 minutes outside of Nerja to the east (nature reserve) you will find numerous natural beaches in beautiful rocky coves. All kinds of 'beach wishes' are thus fulfilled here.
