Cozy little house (80 sqm, 3-unit/end house) on a 420 sqm large and, for 2 years, fully fenced property on the Sonnenalm. Spacious living room with large corner sofa, dining area, tiled stove with small stove bench and a pass-through to the kitchen, 2 bedrooms with new box-spring beds. One bedroom has, in addition to the double bed, a bunk bed for 2 children (please bring your own bed linen and towels). On the south-facing and partially covered terrace there is a garden table with 4 chairs, 2 loungers, and a small garden grill. Free Wi-Fi, parking at the house, ski bus stop 20 m away. Thanks to the Grimmingtherme with seven thermal pools, a unique sauna world, an extensive wellness offering, and a wide range of sports activities, Bad Mitterndorf is also interesting for health-conscious guests.

The HOLIDAY SONNENALM is located above Bad Mitterndorf, quiet and sunny in close proximity to the forest and several hiking trails. Numerous hiking trails and forest roads lead up to the alpine regions. Well-signposted hiking and mountain biking - bikes, electric bikes can also be rented at the resort. Worthwhile excursions: Enns, Salzkammergut, Dachstein-Tauern region, World Heritage Site Hallstatt, Hallstädter lake Ödensee with natural beach, Basics, Altausseer, Toplitzsee, Dachstein Ice Caves and 3 salt mines. Bad Mitterndorf is a small town with all daily facilities. There are banks, supermarkets, restaurants, cozy restaurants, spa, outdoor swimming pool, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, riding stables and a disco. The hiking and skiing Tauplitzalm (1650 m) is reached by the Tauplitzalm or chair. The famous ski resort of Bad Mitterndorf lies in a wide, sunny valley between the Dachstein mountains and Totem. Season starts in early December. The valley near Bad Mitterndorf (awarded the seal of approval trail) offers 120 km of groomed trails / track skaters. The snow-sure Tauplitzalm, (2100 m) has 20 modern lifts and 40 km of slopes with artificial snow. Ski bus stop 150 meters from the house. Two 7 km long descents lead to Bad Mitterndorf and Tauplitz. The 3 Mitterdorfer ski schools offer downhill, cross-country skiing and snowboarding courses and a ski kindergarten from 3 years, with lunch. The local area of ??Bad Mitterndorf are 30 - 40 km of cleared winter hiking trails. The internationally known ski areas in the Dachstein-Tauern region (Schladming / Raumsai / Loser / Riesner-Planneralm) are quickly greens in the area: Golf Club Ausseerland / Bad Aussee, Golf Club Weißenbach / Liezen, Golf & Country Club Schloss Pichlarn / Enns.

We have been to this holiday home several times before, it is always very nice and pleasant. A lot of space, clean, the manager is very friendly. It was another beautiful vacation. We would love to come back.

Very clean and well maintained in a good location
The house is very clean and is both quiet and centrally located. The manager is very nice and accommodating. Overall, it was a perfect accommodation for us, as a family of four, with dog.

no nasty surprise
this is the second time we have stayed here, the house is perfect for our needs
everything is there to feel comfortable
it is nice to go on holiday when you know the house offers no nasty surprises
Surprise our dog also felt at home
we didn't have to complain about lack of snow in 2019 either
