A nice clean bungalows in the south. With its own parking. The bungalow is situated in a quiet location. Supermarket in the park. Open from Easter to October beaches, dunes and the village Renesse about 1 to km away. During the season for free transportation to the beach and the village with the shuttle. Renesse is the most popular resort on the west coast of Schouwen-Duiveland sports, including fishing, horseback riding, tennis, diving, surfing and lots of options. Cycling through the woods and dunes to Burgh Haamstede Also visits to the Delta, Zierikzee, Veere, Goes and Middelburg are worth. Interior Bungalow Ankie

Wir waren sehr zufrieden

Perfect for two adults and two children with a dog. The only drawback is the shower door. I would say it's a construction error; they should have installed a shower curtain instead. Overall, we were satisfied with the house. The property manager was very nice, always friendly and helpful. Very reliable and assisted us with everything. Regards, Hermann and Gaby Rünz

Great weekend getaway.

For a short break, the perfect little house! The fenced garden, with a dog, is a dream. The children shouldn't be too big, otherwise it will be tight in the bunk bed!
The shower could be equipped with a curtain instead of this door - but otherwise everything is lovingly furnished, the landlord is very kind and always helpful!

Haus Ankie super

We had a great vacation week at Ankie's house with our dog. It is nicely decorated and very clean. I am still enthusiastic about the various seating areas in the garden. The bedrooms are a bit small and I wouldn't book it for 4 adults, but it's suitable for families with small children. We will definitely book it again.

What a pity!!!

We also thought: beautiful, bright, friendly house, until we wanted to use the kitchen!
The cabinets are crammed with mismatched, partly old and worn utensils (it did not look like they were emptied for the final cleaning - for which I had to pay 60 euros because of our dog - each time).
One cabinet is full of food scraps from the landlord, so I had no space for my supplies.
The extractor hood and the cabinet above are completely filthy. The absolute highlight, however, was when I picked up a piece of cutlery that had fallen to the bottom of the dishwasher. That was pure disgust (thanks for the swollen lip I had afterwards)! I retrieved a handful of gross black schmutz with food residue from under the rubber seal below the door (only familiar with that from Calgon commercials for washing machines). It seems like it has never been cleaned properly! I preferred to wash by hand instead. We didn't even use the microwave and toaster. In the trash can, there were stuck cigarette butts from the previous tenant below the garbage bag - it seems like it wasn't cleaned properly. Of course, the fireplace was still "broken". It simply should not be used by guests! We informed the landlord in the hope that they would take care of it. We have been renting houses for 10 years, but we have never encountered anything like this.

Unfortunately incorrect information about the holiday home!

Here is the positive feedback about the vacation home "Ankie" (quicker):
The house is nicely bright and quite comfortably furnished.
The garden is also nicely landscaped and completely adequate, with a complete fence for dog owners.
A beautifully quiet holiday park with a supermarket.
They were quite accommodating with the timing (we had Monday as the arrival day).
Now to the negative:
In our opinion, this vacation home never had 70 sqm, probably closer to 40 sqm. "A guest toilet is not available"! This was a very important criterion for us!
The oven (fireplace) seen in the photos was "defective", but luckily we did not need it at this time of year.
"Cleanliness", well, we weren't so picky!
The dishes and cutlery were quite mixed up (lack of tea spoons).
"Not recommended for four adult persons, as the second bedroom is very, very small and consists of a bunk bed! The bathroom is also very small and hardly suitable for more robust individuals, as otherwise the shower cabin door cannot be closed anymore! We only dealt with the landlord here, and unfortunately he did not speak German (as described in the ad)! But at least the key handover worked! So that's all about the holiday home "Ankie"!
