With this letter, I wish to inform future renters about the poor condition of this accommodation, as well as the overall disappointing support from Belvilla. From the moment we arrived, our stay did not feel as it should, especially when you want to start your vacation in a relaxed manner. During the tour, we were pointed out a broken fridge (thankfully there was a second one in the outdoor kitchen), a broken air conditioning unit in one bedroom (when we inquired if it could be repaired, the immediate response was that they could not get technicians during this period = it had been broken for quite some time), the oven door has to be held shut with clips (Safety above all!!). The bedroom in the lower section smelled very damp and unpleasant. The adjoining bathroom had mold, and the shower was so small that a normal adult person could not stand up straight! There are supposed to be 2 full bathrooms, but in reality, they certainly do not meet current minimum standards. Outside, the garden chairs were in terrible condition. We pointed this out to the owner, supported by the necessary photos. By the end of the week, one garden chair was actually torn, which we also reported immediately. Normally, we would receive the deposit (cash!!) back after 1 week. After following up ourselves (over 2 weeks), we ultimately only received half of the deposit back. Without our initiative, we would never have found out why the deposit was withheld! The deposit was withheld for even 2 damaged lounge chairs! To this day, there is no evidence that a new purchase has occurred. How can you be held responsible for such a wear-prone product in just one week? We reported this complaint through Belvilla, and after another 2 weeks... we must conclude that their support really leaves much to be desired. There is phone contact, a file is created, and then we receive standard emails: "we take it to heart," "you will be helped soon,"... but also: "We cannot be held liable as the deposit was handed over in cash." We specifically chose "Belvilla" for this reason, that they help support the renter. Not at all!! In short: the house (far too expensive), the reception, the handling after the trip, the support from Belvilla... none of this is worth it at all. I sincerely hope you take this letter into account and that you do not book either this accommodation or with Belvilla.

De locatie was bij aankomst lastig te vinden, ook met de coördinaten beschikbaar via de site. Gelukkig waren de huiseigenaren erg behulpzaam. Of ik de accommodatie nou echt gezinsvriendelijk vind trek ik in twijfel; de buiten locatie inclusief zwembad was zeer zekerweten geschikt voor kinderen. Onze kinderen hebben hier echt veel kunnen spelen en veel plezier gehad. De volwassenen zaten heerlijk onder de overkapping en konden kokkerellen in de buitenkeuken. Wat betreft de binnenruimte, bij aankomst werd eigenlijk vrijwel direct aangegeven dat er bijvoorbeeld niet op de bank gegeten/ gedronken mocht worden, geen handen aan de muren etc. Ik begrijp het standpunt van de huiseigenaren, maar met een gezin met jonge kinderen voelde het toch wel een beetje alsof we moesten 'oppassen'. Dit gevoel heb ik nooit eerder gehad bij het huren van een huis. Het huis zelf was goed onderhouden, maar leek verouderd. Ook was het best gehorig; als iemand naar de wc ging, of ging douchen, was dit door het hele huis te horen. De locatie was wat mij betreft perfect; rustig gelegen, geen 'last' van buren, een mooie en natuurrijke omgeving, op 5 a 10 minuten rijden supermarkten en iets verder is een prachtig meer gelegen.

We had a great experience! The space in the house allowed us to enjoy our time together without feeling cramped. The children had plenty of room to play, and the nearby attractions provided us with activities to entertain everyone.

I was impressed by how well-equipped the villa was. From the kitchen area to the entertainment options, everything was well thought out. We also used the grill, which allowed for some enjoyable evenings outdoors.

We have had the best vacation in this beautiful house. We didn´t you the inside facilities because of the amazing outdoor opportynities for cooking, playing in the pool and garden :-) Really nice and smiling hosts :-)

This Provençal villa was the perfect retreat for our family getaway! The spacious layout allowed everyone to have their own space, and the kids loved the garden and the play equipment. We spent most evenings grilling on the terrace and enjoying the beautiful views.
