Insider tip out of season

We were there before the season and it was so beautiful!
It's a shame that not all the restaurants were open but that's the season and we knew that. Our dog ran around in the garden all day and we enjoyed the wonderful view of the valley and the castle from the balcony. Unfortunately, we only looked longingly at the pool. How great it must be in summer! Maybe we weren't brave enough. Everything was as described and the shops and shopping facilities were good and partly even accessible without a car. A tip: The restaurant at the glider airfield and the village of Velnasque, abandoned for hundreds of years, in the middle of the forest and only 2 km away. Thank you for the friendly welcome and we will send back the DVD we took with us by mistake. See you again soon, perhaps.

Villa with feel-good character

We stayed at Villa Gecko in Tourrettes for 2 weeks in September and really enjoyed our time there. The villa is in a very quiet location and offers a fantastic view of the countryside. The villa is spacious, very clean and beautifully furnished. The warm welcome by Mrs O'Carroll was the start of a relaxing holiday for us. The landlords were always available for questions and very helpful. We enjoyed the undisturbed time at the large and deep pool very much. The nearest restaurant is within walking distance. Our insider tip is the restaurant "La Farandole" in the neighbouring village of Fayence. Thank you for the wonderful time in the beautiful Villa Gecko. We can recommend this accommodation without reservation.

For us it was ideal with a dog. He had plenty of exercise and could not run away. A very well kept and clean house with a nice big pool. We will definitely come back again. The nearest restaurant was only 800m away.
