Description
The Clos d'Azur offers you a 50m² apartment on the 1st floor including:
- independent access
- one double bedrooms: with cupboards and en-suite shower room
- one twin bedroon or double as required
- an independent bathroom with shower (and hairdryer) and a separate WC
- a living/dining area with HD plasma TV, CD player, 2 sofas, table and chairs
- a fully equipped kitchen area with oven and four-ring hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, etc.
The French window opens onto the terrace with tables and chairs allowing you to eat morning, noon and evening in front of a panorama of forests and hills, with a view of the swimming pool.
WiFi throughout the apartment.
Adjoining utility room with washing machine, vacuum, iron and ironing board etc
Barbecue, garden furniture, parasols and deckchairs are also at your disposal.
Pool ( 5m x 10m) for private use only and accessible at all times.
The villa Le Clos d'Azur is just 5 minutes walk from the restaurants, cafes and shops in the village centre (La Poste, pharmacy, bakeries, tobacco-press), no need to take the car.

The villa is situated 800m from the centre of the village of Bagnols en Foret, which is a provençale village with 2600 inhabitants. The villa is in a quiet setting over looking hills and forest.

The Villa Le Clos d'Azur is
-20 minutes from the sandy beaches of Frejus and Saint-Raphael.
- 35 minutes from Cannes renowned for its International Festival in May, its Croisette, luxury shops and marina. Hardly further the cities of Antibes and Juan-les-Pins (International Jazz Festival).
-50 minutes the city of Nice, famous for its Promenade des Anglais and its Baie des Anges, its flower market and Carnival in February.
- Less than an hour away, Saint-Tropez combines the charm and friendliness of a Provencal village with the chic of its internationally renowned places.
- In 1h the Principality of Monaco, a must for its F1 Grand Prix in May, its marina filled with fabulous yachts of the "jet set", the casinos of Monte Carlo, the oceanographic museum.
In the region itself, in a radius of 30km, you will discover in the Pays de Fayence the jewels of the perched villages which also include Mons, Callian or Seillans, as well as the lake of Saint-Cassien.
Not to mention the city of Grasse known worldwide for its perfume manufacturers (Molinard, Fragonard, Galimard).

Relaxed and rejuvenating vacation
We had a nice holiday week in this accommodation and can only agree with the reviews here. Everything was as described here. The hosts Johanna and Olivier are super friendly and always helpful. The equipment of the apartment corresponds to the description, there are two refrigerators and a freezer. The pool is super clean and well maintained. The restaurants in the village, which are only a few minutes' walk away, are highly recommended. We especially enjoyed the beautiful starry sky from the balcony in the evenings, which was incredibly beautiful.
We would absolutely recommend this accommodation and would love to come back.

Super accommodation - absolutely recommendable!
We had two great weeks of vacation with our two children (13 and 16 years old) in Joanna and Olivier's holiday apartment. The location is perfect for exploring the Côte d'Azur and the hinterland. The nearest coastal town, Fréjus, is 20 minutes away and is worth visiting in the evening for dinner or to stroll along the promenade and visit the market. Saint Tropez, Cannes, Nice, Monaco, and the Verdun Gorge can all be easily reached by car. But even the restaurants in the beautiful medieval village of Bagnols-en-Forêt itself can be reached on foot in a few minutes. Supermarket, bakery, doctor, pharmacy, gas station - everything is nearby. The house itself is located in a very quiet environment. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, even pool towels were available, and the second large refrigerator in the entrance area was of course very useful for cold drinks, ice, etc. The highlight of the apartment is definitely the view from the balcony. We will miss that! At the large pool, there are four loungers and two sun umbrellas available! The garden is very nicely landscaped by the owners. Joanna and Olivier are very nice, always available for questions, but otherwise keep to themselves, so you almost feel like you're living alone in the house - really great hosts! All in all, we can highly recommend the accommodation and would like to thank Joanna and Olivier for the truly wonderful time in their house! Thank you and Merci beaucoup!

Relaxing vacation in the hinterland of the Cote d'Azur
We had two very nice weeks of vacation in this holiday accommodation and we can fully agree with the previous reviews. The big plus of this apartment for us was the covered balcony with a wonderful panoramic view and of course the pool. The close proximity of the village with bakeries, restaurants, supermarkets and pharmacies is also advantageous.

Toller Sommerurlaub in einem sehr entspannten Umfeld / rein gar nichts zu meckern
Wir haben im August 2022 zusammen mit unseren beiden Kindern (12 und 15 Jahre) diese wunderschöne Unterkunft in Südfrankreich genossen.
Die Gastgeber und Vermieter Joanna und Olivier sind sehr warmherzig und freundlich.
Wir haben die Ruhe dort sehr genossen und waren begeistert, jede Mahlzeit auf der überdachten Terrasse mit einem wahnsinnig schönen Blick auf den Pool und die bewaldeten Berge zu uns nehmen zu können.
Der großartige Pool stand uns komplett zur eigenen Verfügung und die vier Liegen und Sonnenschirme haben den Wohlfühlfaktor noch weiter gesteigert.
Die Wohnung hat wirklich alles, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub benötigt.
Sie war geräumig und sehr hell eingerichtet.
Küche mit Kühlschrank, Gasherd, Backofen, Geschirrspülmaschine, Kaffeemaschine (Senseo Pads), Weber Gasgrill incl. einem weiterer Kühlschrank, Gefrierschrank und eine eigene Waschmaschine.
Die Kinder hatten ihr eigenes kleines Schlafzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten und wir hatten ein Doppelbett in einem separaten Schlafzimmer (incl. eigener Dusche und Waschbecken). Stauraum war absolut ausreichend vorhanden und die Betten waren alle bei Anreise frisch bezogen (Handtücher wurden auch zur Verfügung gestellt).
Das Hauptbad mit Toilette, Waschbecken und einer zweiten Dusche wurde somit von den Kindern genutzt.
Wohn-Essbereich mit einem Tisch für 4 Personen, einer Couch (ausziehbar) einem kleinen Fernseher, DVD-Spieler etc.
In der Auffahrt zum Grundstück konnte unser PKW und das Auto von Joanna und Olivier bequem und ohne Probleme abgestellt werden.
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt hier mehr als genossen und können jedem diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens weiter empfehlen. Speziell, wenn man nicht direkt in den lauten, vollen und sehr heißen Tourismushochburgen direkt an der Küste unterkommen möchte.
Joanna und Olivier sind tolle Gastgeber, die es sehr gut verstehen, sich extrem im Hintergrund zu halten, bei Fragen oder Anregungen aber immer direkt mit Wort und Tat zur Verfügung stehen.

Einzigartig / Erholung pur!
Wir sind zu viert (2 EW + 2 Kinder 8/10J.) in dieser wundervollen Unterkunft gewesen.
Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich. Wenn man Fragen hat, so wird man bzgl. Ausflüge und Region sehr gut beraten. Ansonsten kommt es einem so vor, als wäre man alleine vor Ort. Gerade der Pool, wird fast nie von den Eigentümern benutzt.
Die Wohnung hat alles, was man benötigt.
Gut ausgestattete Küche mit Kühlschrank, Gasherd, Backofen, Geschirrspülmaschine, Kaffeemaschine (Senseo Pads), Gefrierschrank (in einem Raum neben der Wohnungseingangstür), sowie ein Weber Gasgrill vor der Eingangstür.
Der Wohn-Essbereich beinhaltet einen Tisch für 4 Personen, eine Couch + Tisch in welchem Spiele versteckt sind, sowie einen kleinen Fernseher, DVD-Spieler und einer kleinen Stereoanlage mit CD-Spieler.
Die beiden Schlafzimmer verfügen einmal über zwei Einzelbetten und einmal über ein Doppelbett mit separater Dusche und Waschbecken. Ablageflächen für Kleider sind genug vorhanden.
Das Bad verfügt über ein größeres Waschbecken, Toilette, sowie Dusche.
Generell waren alle Betten bezogen und Bettwäsche, sowie Handtücher und Pooltücher vorhanden.
Der Balkon mit einem wahnsinnig wunderschönen Blick auf die bewaldeten Berge, hat einen Tisch für 4 Personen.
In dem Raum neben der Eingangstür gibt es außer dem Gefrierschrank noch eine Waschmaschine, einen Trockner, sowie Besen, Handfeger und einen Wäscheständer.
Auf der Auffahrt zum Haus ist genug Platz für das eigene und das Auto der Besitzer.
Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit und werden sehr gerne wieder kommen. Es war wirklich unbeschreiblich toll und daher können wir diese Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen.

Wunderschön!
Die Ferienwohnung hat uns super gefallen!
Joanna und Olivier sind sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend und wir haben uns bei ihnen rundum wohl gefühlt. Wir konnten ganz für uns sein, aber für einen kleinen Plausch waren sie gerne bereit. Auf alle unsere Anfragen haben sie jederzeit und promt geantwortet. Auch die Empfehlungen für Unternehmungen in der Region waren 100%. Von den Feigen aus ihrem Garten ganz zu schweigen ... :)
Auch die Wohnung an sich ist großartig. Besonders am Pool und auf dem Balkon mit Blick ins Tal kann man herrliche Stunden und Sommerabende verbringen. Die Ausstattung ist top - es ist wirklich alles da, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Besonders die Küche ist exzellent ausgestattet (z.B. gibt es richtig viele Teller, sodass man nicht permanten abwaschen muss ;)).
Bagnoles-en-foret ist ein uriges kleines Dorf, das uns sehr gut gefallen hat. Das kleine "Zentrum" ist süß und man bekommt gutes Baguette und hervorragendes Mittag-/Abendessen im Bistrot. Bagnoles liegt etwas abseits, d.h. man sollte für Unternehmungen längere Autofahren in Kauf nehmen, aber gerade diese Ruhe vom provencalischen Touri-Trubel hat uns sehr gut gefallen.
Wir können das Clos d'Azur einfach nur rundum empfehlen und haben hier wirklich einen der schönsten Urlaube verbracht, die wir je hatten.

Ein toller Urlaub in einem kleinen Paradies!
Wir hatten hier einen perfekten Urlaub!
Die sehr netten Vermieter haben uns sehr herzlich in Empfang genommen und waren auch jederzeit als Ansprechpartner erreichbar. Wir haben uns in der perfekt Ausgestatteten Ferienwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Hier hat man alles was man für einen entspannten und erholsamen Urlaub benötigt.
Der Außenbereich und der Pool sind sehr sauber und sehr gut gepflegt. Von der großen Terrasse aus hat man einen traumhaften Blick auf die grünen Hügel von Bagnols en Forêt. Der schöne Strand von Fréjus ist nur wenige Autominuten entfernt. Wir können diese Ferienwohnung sehr empfehlen und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, Danke!

Super Urlaub mit traumhafter Unterkunft in entspannter Umgebung
Bereits zu dritten Mal in Folge verbrachten wir unseren Sommerurlaub bei Joanna und Olivier. Die Wohnung ist modern eingerichtet und super ausgestattet (mit eigenem Gas-Grill!). Der Aussenbereich mit Pool und Sonnenliegen ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Vom Balkon aus hat meine wunderschöne Aussicht auf die baumreiche Region. In Bagnols en Foret findet man alles um einen erholsamen Urlaub zu genießen. Wir fühlen uns in Le Clos d´Azur immer sehr willkommen und haben bereits den vierten Urlaub für nächste Jahr gebucht. :-)

Pool and balcony delight!Don't miss!
This is a 1st class gite!
Everything is spotlessly clean and looks brand new, with all you need for a relaxing, comfortable holiday.
Jo and Olivier are very friendly and helpful and committed to making sure you have a great time and have everything you need!
The balcony has sensational views across the valley and it is wonderful to eat and have a drink there in the shade at any time of day.
The pool is all you could hope for - relaxing, cooling and bordered by fragrant and colourful plants and shrubs such as lavender and oleander attracting butterflies.
The village is a 7-8 minute walk away and has bars, boulangeries and shops.
The supermarket is 15 minutes walk or a short car drive.
Buses go to Frejus and Fayence 3-4 times a day or a drive to the beach is around 35 minutes.
This is a great opportunity to experience Provence.
Don't miss it!
