Great amenities and super location of the house. The entire facility is very well maintained. The landlords are always reachable, friendly, and helpful with any questions. Everything worked perfectly.
The surroundings are also very nice, everything is accessible within a short distance. Definitely recommendable. We will definitely come back soon!

We spent a very, very nice time in this house with five adults, one child, and the family dog. Picturesquely located by a lake. Simply dreamy.

A very well thought-out residence, everything has a function, the equipment leaves nothing to be desired.
Particularly noteworthy is also the kitchen equipment, which, in contrast to many other holiday homes experienced, is of a very high standard. And furthermore: The cleanliness was already impressive. Child and dog friendliness is also ensured by the complete fencing.

In short, here are people with clear minds, love, and passion at work in planning, equipping, and furnishing, who have given us an extremely pleasant stay.

This will definitely be repeated. We give a 10/10 (isn't it capped at five here?).

Rest and comfort

Those who love nature are just right here; relaxation is on the agenda. The house has an excellent furnishing; no wishes are left unfulfilled, everything is available. Those in need of some variety can drive to Malchow and be around people again; all major shopping markets are present, and many restaurants complete the experience. Our recommendation: get ready and book the holiday home Leonard. Oh, one more thing: those traveling with a dog can bring theirs. let them run freely in the securely fenced property and there are several opportunities for walks.

Unfortunately, the booking did not go through.

Unfortunately, something went completely wrong. My sister made a reservation at the beginning of February for Pentecost, and we received a confirmation but nothing more. We actually booked last year as well but unfortunately had to cancel because my mother was dying, and I was also diagnosed with cancer. I was really looking forward to traveling this year, especially because of my mother, and now it turns out that something went wrong. I find that more than sad. The Strauch family is super nice, we were also in Flecken Zechlin. Super great... but that would probably have been my last vacation. So definitely a big minus for the manager or the booking site. The date is not correct because I couldn't choose yet for Pentecost.

Arriving and being at home

The house has a good and quiet location. Since it is situated a bit higher, you can already make good observations (mouflon, wild geese, nutria) during breakfast. There are good cycling routes in all directions. The house is well suited for families with children and also for seniors.

Dream vacation under magnolia blossoms

We kept our promise and booked the forest house this time. Previously, we were in the wonderful, magnificent Villa Lilia (Rheinsberg), also owned by the Strauch family. Everything worked out very well again this time, from booking to the quick refund of the deposit.
What a beautiful, large property, slightly elevated with a great view of the lake. Isolated location, delightful peace, the nearest neighbors are a bit far away.
Pure nature!!!
Every day we saw new animals (e.g. Mouflon) discovered. We were lucky and the large magnolia tree was in full bloom. We sat under it for hours, gazing at the lake and letting our souls dangle. Anyone who cannot relax here will find it very difficult elsewhere.
The house is very cozy, stylish, and equipped to a high standard. Pretty spring decorations. The property is beautifully designed and the garden is lovingly laid out. Thank you for welcoming dogs here! Many thanks to the Strauch family and Mrs. Brandt for a wonderful, relaxing vacation. We will come back, no matter which house, here you are guaranteed stress-free, beautiful vacation days.

Great break

We had a very nice, albeit short break at House Leonard. Everything was just as seen in the pictures and was also present in reality. A house with atmosphere and style. The furnishings were as one would wish. We particularly liked the two complete bathrooms; everyone can take the time they need. The equipment was complete, and there was enough space for cooking. Just the view from the dining room is enough to sit for hours and watch the activity outside. Since we had a dog with us, we also made good use of the well-fenced property and the many paths for dog walks. The island town of Malchow was also very pleasant; it has everything one needs and offers a bit of culture as well. The surrounding area is beautiful to explore in all directions, regardless of how you are traveling. What I personally missed as a tea drinker was a teapot and a tea warmer. We would be happy to come again, then in the autumn, if it suits. Thank you for the uncomplicated handling and the nice contact from the company Strauch.

Unfortunately, there was a deduction in service due to snow removal in front of the entrance door and stairs. Tracks in the snow were visible, consequently, the service was also present on-site in the snow.

Arrive and feel at home

We spent the Christmas and New Year holidays here and found exactly what we were looking for - peace, slow pace, and a feeling of well-being. The calm on New Year's Eve was a blessing for us and our dog! Despite the bad weather, we were able to do something every day and also explore the interesting forest! We would love to come back!

For our family, the optimum!

For years, we have been vacationing in the northeast of the Federal Republic in various accommodations at different locations. We seek the seclusion of the accommodation, but one must also be able to quickly get to a restaurant, rent a boat, or visit something. However, this year was particularly enjoyable because we were also able to engage in hunting and much more. Nature is beautiful, and because we have an innate affinity for water, the many lakes were, of course, a paradise for us. The holiday home provided us with plenty of space and high-quality furnishings. What stood out immediately was the cleanliness in and around the house. Each room had a large TV, comfortable beds, and the kitchen was simply top-notch. The ice maker was used extensively. The sauna, pool table, and foosball also found favor. The weather was good, and we grilled almost every day when we didn't go out to eat.
There are plenty of shopping opportunities in the surrounding towns.
The parking options right at the house are sufficient. We were there with 2 cars and a trailer and had no problems parking the vehicles.
A wonderful vacation for all of us.

Great holiday home!!!

Just a really great vacation home in a dream location. The vacation house is perfectly equipped; everything has really been thought of, great. We and our German Shepherd felt completely comfortable from the very first moment.
The only downside was that we couldn't turn off the hallway or staircase light.
Otherwise, it was perfect. We will definitely come back.

Pure relaxation

A wonderful holiday home if you love nature, seek peace, enjoy swimming in the lake, and love forest walks. It is perfect for up to 8 people and especially for dogs. Our dog loves the garden and has found his favorite spots there. The comfort of the house leaves nothing to be desired; the appliances and condition of the inventory are impeccable, and nothing is missing. Here, it’s hard not to relax ;-). Of course, the leisure options in and around the house are wonderful - billiards, table soccer, a beautiful lake with a "private jetty" (we brought a ladder for easier entry and exit), and the adjacent forest provide many opportunities. The surrounding area is also very beautiful - many lakes and surprisingly many museums and other attractions. In Malchow, you can find everything you need for shopping and nice restaurants. It was a great vacation for us 7+dog and we would vacation there again at any time. Thank you.

Great house

We had a very nice week at the Forester's Lodge Leonard! My husband and I, our daughters with partners, granddaughter and our small eight-week-old grandson. There was enough space for everyone. Starting with the smooth handling of the booking and super nice with my many questions. Everything was just like in the photos. The nature around the house was simply beautiful! TOP holiday home in a quiet location

The photos on the website did not promise too much. A perfectly furnished and cozy house in a location that invites relaxation.
The holiday home can only be recommended, it was very clean and the furnishings in all rooms, including the kitchen, leave nothing to be desired.
You can go for wonderful walks with the dog and through the fenced property, he can occasionally move around outside unsupervised.
We would love to come back, maybe just at a different time, as many facilities in the small and pretty town of Malchow were already closed for the winter.

We spent one week on a family vacation (father, mother, children/partners, grandchildren) in Forsthaus Leonard. 6 adults and 2 small children. It was perfect for us. Very clean and well-equipped. Idyllically located, with a view of the lake and the horse paddock. There is a barbecue and a large fire pit where we sat in the evenings. The fence around the property and the playground were perfect for our 2.5-year-old. Our son and his partner (without children yet) rented bikes, went kayaking, and went on excursions. The kitchen is large enough and arranged in a way that allows for multiple people to cook, with everything you need. We felt very comfortable and will recommend the house.

Really great holiday home

We can only agree with the previous reviews. It's truly a great house. Lots of space, excellent facilities, and a fantastic location if you're looking for peace and quiet. You can really switch off while looking out at the lake and the horse paddock. Unfortunately, we had bad luck with the weather, but that's not the fault of the house. The only thing we missed, as someone before us mentioned, was a ladder on the bathing jetty. We always had to use the SUP to get out of the water. Unfortunately, not an option for grandma and grandpa. However, the jetty is perfect for fishing.

Dreamy house in a dreamy location!

An extremely well-maintained house with upscale furnishings. Great for dog owners, securely fenced for slightly larger dogs. Walking paths through the forest and fields are really right outside the front door.
Relaxation begins on the first day of vacation and doesn't end until departure! ;)

Dream house

Dream house sums it up best, it is just perfect! We were 2 families and it was nice and big and perfectly equipped. We were very touched by the bottle of champagne and the little gifts. You feel very welcome. The process was wonderfully uncomplicated. Nothing was missing, neither coffee, toilet paper or spices or or or, simply everything sufficiently there. Everything from the finest

The forester's house is quietly situated with a view of the lake on a large fenced plot. The interior is modern and of high quality, nothing is missing, everything has been thought of. There are many beautiful hiking trails and if the weather is not so good, you can play billiards and table football or watch something on the large TVs (Netflix). For relaxation, there is a sauna and fireplace. The landlords are very nice and help immediately if there is a problem.

The house is large, very beautifully and modernly furnished.
It was really designed with love and skill.
It has everything you could wish for and much more.

There are so many things that delighted us here that I can't list them all here.
All the highlights are already listed above in the description of the house.
They apply 100 per cent.

Here are my favourite features:
*Large dining table with a view of the lake.
*Modern kitchen with ice cube refrigerator.
*Great bedrooms and beds with views of the lake or forest.
*Cosy living room with fireplace.
*Very nice modern bathroom.
*All the lighting in the house is top notch.
*Basement with table football/billiard table, sauna, washing machine, dryer.
*Large TV in each room, with netflix.

*Large garden with fire bowl and barbecue.
*Large sand area with swings and slides for the children.
*Fully fenced area with two gates.
*Situated directly on the lake and forest.

All the accessories in the house and garden are great.
*There are spices, washing up liquid/rags, baking paper, aluminium foil, kitchen roll, sugar, salt etc in the kitchen.
*Soap everywhere, in the bathroom/wc.
*For the fireplace there are lighters and matches, once firewood.
*In the garden there are toys for the sandpit, a trolley, bicycles for big and small.

Everything has been thought of and lovingly equipped, which is not often the case in holiday homes.

It is just 4 km to the centre of Malchow, and only 8 minutes by car.
And you can get everything you need.
Lidl, aldi, netto, edeka, petrol station, DIY store, railway station and much more.

The contact with the landlord was great, quick response and very nice.

Quietly located, spacious holiday home just a few metres from Petersdorf Lake. High-quality furnishings, especially the kitchen. The ice cube dispenser was particularly popular with the youngsters. Beautiful vacation home

We, 6 adults and 3 children, spent a wonderful extended weekend in this holiday home. From the terrace, there is a dreamlike view of Petersdorfer See. The individual rooms are very lovingly furnished, and the amenities of the house leave nothing to be desired. Our grandkids found the basement rooms with the foosball table and the billiard table very cool, so there was never a dull moment. The area is completely fenced off, and the kids could play safely outdoors. We took beautiful trips to the nearby surroundings. We had a very nice time and were able to relax and unwind wonderfully. We can highly recommend the vacation home!

Mega great accommodation

The holiday home is situated in the midst of nature and on its own. A dreamlike view of the lake and the surroundings. The equipment of the house leaves nothing to be desired and is tastefully and cozily furnished, so that even in bad weather, the vacation becomes an experience. The outdoor facilities are also great and invite you to cozy barbecue evenings or campfires at the huge fire bowl. Those who wish to fish can do so from the nearby pier. We were able to successfully land eel and peace fish. If it gets late, the equipment can quickly be stored in the spacious shed. We definitely hope to be guests again soon!

Incredibly beautiful stay!!!

We stayed in this holiday home for a long weekend and it was the most beautiful house we have ever stayed in. Everything was just right and you immediately felt at home. The house is totally modern and lovingly furnished, is located directly on the lake and is surrounded by a large enclosed (very nice with children) property. Each room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Just sensational!!!
If there is anything to improve, which is on a very high level, it would be that there should be more cosy blankets so you can sit outside at this time of year. Otherwise everything perfect, thank you!!!

Beautiful holiday accommodation

A very generously equipped house for 8 guests, we were five and it was very nice. The only mistake - the weekend was far too short for this stay! Despite the storm, we were able to enjoy the amenities of the house from the fireplace to the billiards, and the delicious dinner was easily delivered from nearby Malchow. Our grandson immediately wanted to book another holiday here, and our dog didn't want to leave either. The area is completely fenced, so the child and dog could enjoy a safe stay. We would be happy to come back!

We can only recommend the house! Super good facilities and an atmosphere to feel good in! We enjoyed the Christmas days there very much! The beautiful location with a view of the lake, a really very good kitchen, beautiful rooms, sauna, pool table and table football and to top it all off, the wintry weather with snow left nothing to be desired. A small drop of bitterness: with the really wintry temperatures (between -8° and -12° at night) not all rooms were evenly warm. A tip for the next guests: bring your own bathrobes and sauna towels!

We just wanted to get out for a few days and this holiday home came in handy for the end of September. In the dingy autumn weather, we had a nice day with Netflix on the couch, sauna and table football :). The holiday home is really well equipped for such days. If you don't like to cook (the kitchen has everything you need), Malchow and various restaurants are not far away.

Just the right thing to switch off

We spent the weekend at the Leonard lodge and were positively surprised by how great it was. The house is located in a quiet area, and there was a lot to discover. Our kids loved the basement rooms – there was no boredom at all. The equipment is very good – nothing is missing. The view from the sun lounger over Petersdorfer See – simply beautiful. I could really unwind and relax.
We had a very nice time and the weather was great too ; )
