Location and surroundings of object
This semi-detached house lies in a sunny and very peaceful location, at the feet of a hill on which is situated the medieval village Gavorrano. From here you can enjoy beautiful views across the land to the sea. The property is on a fenced area which is surrounded by typical landscape of olive groves, meadows, fields and vineyards. In the back of the house (as shown in the picture) there’s another holiday house, which is separated by a screen and a hedgerow. There are no other houses in the neighbors.
The nearest seaside resort is Follonica, 15 km away, the “Accesa” lake 12 km, and the charming Massa Marittima 20 km. You can find all kind of shops, postal office, bank, indoor swimming pool and restaurants in the village Bagno di Gavorrano, at only 1 km.
During summer you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy concerts, ballets and other events in the \"Teatro delle Rocce\", an open air theatre located in a former quarry. Bagno di Gavorrano lies on the plains of Maremma at the foot of the medieval village of Gavorrano (Foto). The fame of Gavorrano is connected with the poet Dante Alighieri, who in his Divina Commedia told the story of the Pia de´Tolomei who was shut in Castel di Pietra and eventually killed by the husband. This event is commemorated every summer; it´s called Salto della village is renown also for its mines; an open air theatre has been recently opened on dismissed quarry structures. The golf club \"Pelagone\" with 18 holes is near by.

Casa Bruno - Beautiful holiday home!
Casa Bruno is a very nice holiday home with a great property. We felt very comfortable. Nothing was missing. The equipment is very good. Very nice contact with the landlord. We will definitely come back next year!

A beautiful and relaxing vacation
We had a wonderful vacation in Casa Bruno in May. The amenities were exactly as described, nothing was missing. We stayed with our two dogs on the estate and they felt very comfortable and so did we, of course. Upon arrival, we were greeted very friendly by Danilo and Ruben and they showed us everything. We went to the dog beach with our two dogs every day, which was very clean. The surrounding restaurants offered very good food and there was also a very good pizzeria nearby. We would like to thank Danilo and Ruben once again for the great vacation and we are already looking forward to next year, as we will be coming back. Best regards.

Quiet oasis in the cultural landscape of Maremma
Good location, well connected to the Aurelia, several nearby beaches to choose from (car is necessary). Beautiful restaurants, pizzerias, etc. in the area. Centro Commerciale Grosseto 30 minutes by car, nature reserve not far away. Shaded parking, beautiful garden, giant terrace, fenced property with gate. VERY friendly owners, good service, knowledge of Italian is helpful.
Small downsides: kitchen equipment somewhat basic (e.g. glasses). The house is suitable for 2 adults (double bed). There is only one wardrobe in the house. The second bedroom is tiny, with bunk beds (2 children) and no wardrobe. There is a sofa bed in the living room. All in all, very attractive, we enjoyed the holiday (2 people).

Vacation with mixed feelings
The house has all the features described. It is nicely furnished, and the terrace and garden are also beautifully designed. Unfortunately, one must largely do without a view of the landscape because hedges and a privacy screen are installed around the house. This is very unfortunate and additionally causes it to get really, really warm on the terrace in front of the house due to the lack of airflow. We did not use the second terrace at the upper parking lot, as it consists of a table and two old benches and is not really inviting. What was very disturbing and annoying is the fact that almost all kitchen cabinets, including dishes, had a strong musty/moldy smell, and nothing could be used without thorough rinsing beforehand. The tablecloth wrapped in a bag, as well as pillows and cushions (stored in a chest), could not be used by us due to the musty smell. It is a shame and should have been noticed in advance (the smell was very clear and strong!). Otherwise, the house is at a good distance from the sea, in about 30 minutes you can reach various beautiful beaches, and the Lake Lago del `Accessa is also a very nice destination.

Inzwischen wurde die Hecke bei der Terrasse herunter geschnitten, somit ist dort der Ausblick in die umliegende Landschaft wieder gewährt. Die Sitzgelegenheit bei der zweiten Terrasse, wo Sie einen Ausblick Richtung Meer haben, wurde erneuert. Die Küchenschränke wurden gründlich gereinigt. Kissen und Tischdecke erneuert. Bisher hatte sich noch nie jemand über irgendwelche Gerüche beschwert. Viele Stammkunden kommen immer wieder auf dieses Haus zurück.
Die Sandstrände bei Follonica und Casetta Civinini (vor Punta Ala) erreichen Sie in 20 Minuten.
