Description
This modern villa is located in a prime location near Pula. Untouched pine forest, clear sea and proximity to all amenities allow guests a unique holiday in silence. Valelunga comes from the Italian word Valle lunga which means "long bay". Throughout the 20th century, there was a barracks on Valelungi, so this name became synonymous with the military zone between the railway and the northern side of the port of Pula. Today, after the departure of the army, Valelunga becomes an indispensable tourist part of Pula. Distance from the house to the city center and is about 10 minutes by car. The house itself consists of two bedrooms with their own bathrooms, large living room and open space kitchen. During the decoration, the owners especially appreciated the work of the designer and thus created a special atmosphere in the villa. The large courtyard is surrounded by a wall and thus ensures complete privacy. The large pool is the central location of the courtyard.

Unruly landlords
Scorpion on the first night and constantly bugs in the apartment, dirty jacuzzi and pool. No windows in the bathroom and no ventilation. Sewage smell in both bathrooms and in the guest WC. Cleaning for the jacuzzi costs 50€. Linen cleaning also costs 50€. The landlords arbitrarily look for reasons to withhold the paid deposit. They deducted 150€ from us for washing the linen and for a visitor we had for 4 hours. First, they wanted to keep the entire deposit of 300€ and argued with us in front of our kids. No privacy as the owners go into the yard daily without notifying us. They stole our empty bottles from the yard, a total of 3 bags full of them. You only get to know the true nature of the owners at the end of your stay. Be careful when handing over the deposit. Simply rude, disrespectful, and aggressive people, and that in front of our children.

Great vacation, super house
We were there with 4 adults and a baby and were delighted by the nice owners and the amenities of the house. We are quite demanding vacationers and found it really great. We cannot understand the bad reviews at all. We were greeted with chilled water, wine, and cake, and everything was explained to us. A high chair for the baby was even purchased and made available for us. We knew that the owner comes by often to clean the pool, etc. That was not bothersome at all, and the owners were very nice. Since they do not speak German and only a little English, Dario was there to explain everything in German and was constantly available for us on WhatsApp, giving us tips. Since a house with a pool and plants also needs to be maintained, we were asked to water the flowers a little and keep the whirlpool clean, which was no problem. In addition, toilet paper, soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, and much more were provided, which is not so common and we thought was great. Towels and bed linen were all there, and we could also do laundry in between. It could have been cleaned a little better in the house, but the landlord does everything completely alone. And we also had a tiny scorpion, but of course, the landlords are not to blame for that, and you have little creatures in nature. Therefore, mosquito spray is important. It took us only 10 minutes to get to Pula for shopping or sightseeing. When it came time to depart, we wanted to leave very early, and so the owners came the night before and immediately returned the deposit without even going into the house to check. We were allowed to give feedback and had a brief conversation, and that was it. There was no sign of being ripped off! We would be very happy to come back.
