Description
Built in 2010, this exclusive thatched-roof house is comfortably furnished. The rooms are modern, bright and very cosy. The house has underfloor heating on the ground floor and in the upstairs bathroom/corridor area. The sauna offers space for 4 people. The combined living/dining area has LCD TV, a CD system with I-Pod docking station and a DVD player. The house has 2 bedrooms. These are equipped with a double bed and 2 single beds as well as a TV set in each. A safe is available. The bathroom on the upper floor has a large bathtub. A small storage room offers space for your suitcases. In the lower area there is an exclusive rain shower in combination with the sauna. The toilet is separate. The kitchen offers full equipment with the following appliances: Dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob, microwave and fridge with integrated freezer compartment. Outside, there is a spacious terrace with garden furniture, parasol/loungers, beach chair and barbecue, as well as a small garden shed for storing your bicycles. A handcart is also available for trips.

Your comfortable and modernly furnished thatched holiday home 'Strandläufer' is located in the former fishing village of Glowe directly on the Baltic Sea coast. The white natural sandy beach is only 300 m away and stretches over a length of 15 km. Numerous cycling and hiking trails invite you to take relaxing tours in the surrounding area.(There is a bicycle rental in the village). Enjoy the pure climate and the fresh breeze of the Baltic Sea at any time of the year on Germany's largest island with the most hours of sunshine. In the immediate vicinity of your holiday home, the newly built spa park with a large children's playground extends directly to the Baltic Sea coast. The beach promenade that starts here leads past the harbour, along the beach to the spa square. Glowe is an old beach fishing village in the north of Rügen, some of whose houses lie directly behind the dune. The Schaabe begins in the village, a narrow wooded headland with a fine sandy bathing beach over 15 km long on the Baltic Sea side. The waves of the Great Jasmund Bodden lap against the back of the Schaabe. The Jasmund National Park with its famous chalk cliffs and the Königstuhl is only about 8 km away by car. Particularly worth seeing are the legendary Cape Arkona and Spyker Castle. In the village you will find a variety of shopping facilities (distance to the holiday home approx. 500 m). The gastronomy ranges from the smoked fish hut on the beach to the well-kept hotel. Directly on the promenade, with a view over the beach and waves, many a culinary treat becomes a special experience. The marina, which is excellently integrated into the landscape, makes it possible to enjoy a maritime holiday.

Sauna towels and bathrobes are available at an extra charge of € 10.00 per set. The rental prices also include VAT. This is shown on your invoice. On the day of arrival, the house is available to you from clock. On the day of departure the house is at your disposal until o'clock. Sehr schönes Haus in toller Lage
Ein rundum schöner Urlaub in einem wirklich tollen Haus
- Super Lage (fußläufig zum Meer, zum Hafen, zu Restaurants)
- sehr sauber und gepflegt
- ein schöner Garten
- sehr netter Vermieter
Wir können dieses Haus nur empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!! Wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Wirklich klasse!

Urlaub im Ferienhaus Strandlaeufer
Wunderschoenes Reetdachferienhaus in Glowe, wir verbrachten eine sehr schoene Woche mit unseren beiden Enkeltoechtern in diesem tollen Ferienhaus. Der Empfang und die Begruessung durch den Besitzer war sehr freundich und unkompliziert. Haus Strandlaeufer ist top ausgestattet und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Auch ein Boollerwagen, welcher uns gute Dienste leistete, stand im Schuppen bereit. Der Weg zum Strand ist fusslläufig über die Stranpromenade oder am Kurpark ueber eine Leiter zur Steilkueste zu erreichen. Der Strand an der Schaabe ist wunderschoen und tolles Eis gibt es auch. Am Kurpark befindet sich ein sehr schoener Spielplatz ideal fuer die Kinder. Nettomarkt und Baecker in der Naehe. Die Insel Ruegen und das schoene Oertchen Glowe ist auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert.

Top Haus, Top Lage, Top Vermieter !!!
Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Siedlung und ist trotzdem in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Strand. Wir waren nach 2018 dieses Jahr zum zweiten Mal dort und können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
Im Haus ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt; zudem ist es sehr wohnlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet.
Die Sauna ist nach 15 min auf 80 Grad aufgeheizt. Zur Abkühlung ist die große Regendusche neben der Sauna bestens geeignet.
Das Wäschepaket ist auch wirklich klasse.
Der Gartenbereich ist auch voll ausgestattet (Sonnenschirm, Sonnenliegen, Großer Tisch mit Stühlen, Strandkorb, Grill, Gartenhütte, Fahrradständer, etc).
Die Vermieter sind auch sehr lobend zu erwähnen.
Wir haben gerade für 2021 den dritten Aufenthalt gebucht und freuen uns jetzt schon.

Extremely tastefully and luxuriously furnished dream house
We felt very comfortable in our holiday home "Strandläufer". The house is very tastefully and luxuriously furnished. You really notice in every detail how much love the owners have put into their work. The furnishings are all of very high quality, and especially in the kitchen there is everything your heart desires.
For sauna lovers, it is important to mention that the built-in heating is very powerful, so that you don't have to wait long after switching it on before you can start your sauna session.
Also not a matter of course is the presence of three televisions as well as fast internet access with WLAN.
The reception on site (by the owner and not by some anonymous property manager) was very nice and obliging. When we said goodbye, we also met the wife of the landlord and a half-hour conversation developed, which showed us the high motivation of the landlords to do everything to make their guests feel comfortable in the Strandläufer house.
We will certainly try to get the "surcharge" for the sandpiper again in the next years. Of the four houses we have already experienced here in Glowe, it is clearly the most recommendable.

Top Haus! Sauber und gut ausgestattet. Super Kontakt zum Vermieter - dieser ist für alle Fragen offen. Wir hatten für den Jahreswechsel ein Haus mit Sauna und Kamin gesucht und Haus Strandläufer gefunden. Einen Kamin gibt es, jedoch leider draußen ... Diese kleine Enttäuschung machten aber alle anderen Annehmlichkeiten schnell wett. Wir verbrachten tolle Tage und kommen bestimmt wieder.
