This gem on the North Sea offers you and your family relaxation in every season. Relax in a place where you are guaranteed to feel at home, far away from the hustle and bustle of our times.
Greetsiel and its surroundings are a paradise for cyclists, inline skaters, water walkers, anglers, horse riders and walkers. Here you will find a climate in which you can recharge your batteries and the iodine-rich air will contribute noticeably to your recovery. The holiday home is approx. 65 sqm in size and lovingly furnished for 4 people. You will find a clean and cosy house, which leaves nothing to be desired. On the ground floor there is a large living room with an adjoining dining area. In the living room you will find a comfortable sofa set, SAT-TV and a stereo system. In addition, there is a separate, comfortable kitchen on the ground floor with all accessories, such as a ceramic cooker with a large oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher and washing machine. A Senseo as well as a conventional coffee machine and a kettle are also at your disposal. Also on the ground floor you will find the bathroom with extra-large, level shower cubicle without steps. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with fitted wardrobes and a separate bedroom with two single beds. There are fly/ mosquito screens in all rooms and blackout blinds in the bedrooms.
The furnished south-facing terrace with adjoining lawn invites you to sunbathe and relax.
Directly adjacent is the facility of the local riding club, where riding lessons can also be taken.

Our holiday home is located on the North Sea coast between Norddeich and Emden, approx. 1 km from the centre of Greetsiel in a beautiful small holiday home complex on the old Greetsiel lowland. Parking spaces for your car and, if necessary, transporter are available in sufficient numbers. The village has two windmills, the older of which has been converted into a tea room and gallery with works by regional artists. Experience the romance of fishing in the 600-year-old crab cutter harbour, visit historic gabled houses, gulf farms and castles, visit the Wattwurm children's playhouse with its large adventure playground, or take canal trips and boat trips to the East Frisian islands.
Not only artists have discovered Greetsiel, but also film and television directors, for whom the fishing village is a unique filming location. Like the artists, they appreciate the collection of typical East Frisian motifs, including mills, lighthouses, historic buildings, the harbour and the expanse of the marshland.
In Krummhörn, the land by the sea, in the far northwest of East Frisia, both Germany's smallest and Germany's tallest lighthouse stand less than 10 kilometres apart as the crow flies. The Campen lighthouse is
not only Germany's highest, but also the strongest German lighthouse and thus the most important on the coast. The height of 65 metres is necessary so that it can be seen far out to sea due to the curvature of the earth and so that ships can safely pass the North Sea island of Borkum and enter the Ems estuary through the light signals. The Pilsum lighthouse is just eleven metres high, but next to the "Roter Sand" lighthouse in the Outer Weser, it is the best known on northern Germany's coastline.
Comedian Otto Walkes made the cuddly lighthouse with its red and yellow rings famous throughout Germany with his film "Otto - der Außerfriesische".

The tenant may withdraw from the lease by written declaration to the landlord before the start of the lease. The decisive date is the day the withdrawal declaration is received by the landlord. If the tenant withdraws from the lease, they must pay a flat rate compensation for the expenses already incurred by the landlord and for lost profits in the following amounts, provided re-leasing is not possible: Withdrawal: - Cancellation up to 70 days before the start of the rental: the full deposit - Cancellation from the 49th to the 28th day before the start of the rental: 50% of the rental price - Cancellation from the 27th to the 14th day before the start of the rental: 80% of the rental price - Cancellation from the 13th day until the start of the rental: 100% of the rental price. Cozy vacation home
High-quality furniture, grill everything super!! Car is required for nice tours and visits in Greetsiel and the surrounding area.

Kleine Familie
Not suitable for a family with a small child as the stairs in the house are very steep and the playground is unkempt (filled diapers lying around). The beds were very worn out. The shower is very narrow and not usable for men with broad shoulders. I didn't find the location so great, as you always had to drive by car.
Overall, the town of Greetsiel is beautiful.

Vielen Dank für Ihr Feedback. Konstruktive Kritik findet bei uns immer Gehör. So werden wir uns bei den Planungen für die kommende Saison dem Thema Betten widmen. Der Zustand der Lattenroste und Matratzen wird geprüft werden und diese dann auch ggf. erneuert.
Unkonstruktiv sind für uns die Themen Dusche, Kinderspielplatz und Lage des Objektes. Wir haben schon kräftige Männer mit 2 Meter Körpergröße und entsprechendem Gewicht beherbergt. Ich selbst bin auch 1,85 und von kräftiger Statur. Jeder hatte bisher ausreichend Platz in der Dusche. Im Gegenteil, diese wurde wegen ihrer besonders komfortablen Größe immer als Pluspunkt bewertet. Die Abfallsituation auf dem Kinderspielplatz ist unabhängig von unserer Ferienhausvermietung zu sehen. Der Platz ist allgemein zugänglich und wird von vielen Kindern mit Eltern genutzt. Wir werden aber aufgrund Ihres Hinweises auf der nächsten Eigentümerversammlung die Aufstellung eines Müllbehälters vorschlagen.
Die Lage des Objektes ist im Inserat konkret beschrieben, Ferienhausmiete.de ergänzt dies noch um eine Kartenansicht. Das haben Sie wahrscheinlich übersehen. Andernfalls fänden wir es unfair, dies im Nachhinein zu kritisieren. Ansonsten wird diese kleine Weg- und Radstrecke entlang des Siels von den Gästen sehr gerne angenommen und für einen kleinen Spaziergang ins Dorf genutzt.
