Discount store, butcher, baker, post office, as well as a dreamy oasis between forest and sea outside the summer months
Kellenhusen is a family resort on the coast with a beach, promenade, sea adventure bridge, mini-golf and tennis courts, away from the hustle and bustle, situated between forest and waves, no through traffic, far from main roads
You drive through the sparse beech forest into the village and out again.
Along the dyke by bike or on foot, you can visit the Baltic Sea resorts one after the other, each a pearl in its own right, and the sea looks different every day
For breaks, you can visit country inns, cafés, etc., which are uniquely close by.
By car, you can visit the island of Fehmarn, Kiel, Hansapark, Travemünde, Lübeck, or you can take an excursion boat from Grömitz around the entire Lübeck Bay.

The shallow-sloping, fine-sand beach in Kellenhusen is around 2 km long and up to 50 metres wide. Three dog beaches (two in the south, one in the north) and an open-air beach area on both the north and south beaches offer the perfect place for every guest.
